Oh my god, did you hear what I said? Nimia thought to Carrii quickly. She crossed her fingers, hoping she hadn't. It was bad enough Alena knew...but if Carrii knew, she was screwed.

Uhh yeah, don't I always? Wait, she sounded quite upset. Is that a problem? I can tune out, if you want. I just want to talk because class is boring...

She smiled. "That is correct Toyama, a little shakey but correct never the less." She continued walking around the class talking about the story.

Atsuhime held her head up high with pride. She thought to herself. "Oh yeah I'm right! Oh yeah! Uh huh! Whoot!"

"Ok class close your books, we are now done with suspenseful stories, we are heading to a new topic haikus. We are going to do some classwork. Each of you have to make up as many haikus as you can. The more you make the more your grade goes up. I'll give you all an example." She wrote a haiku on the board.
As the wind does blow

Across the trees, I see the

Buds blooming in May She smiled. "A Haiku is a classical japanese poetry form with a rich history, but this isn't a history lesson. The standard haiku format is a triplet of lines containing five, seven, and five syllables per respective line. Now please start and when you are done raise your hand and then after that I will ask you to read you Haiku out loud."

Atsuhime thought to herself "Easy A! My mom taught me all about haiku's!" She wrote down a couple and raised her hand. "YO TEACH I'M DONE!!!!!!"

She saw Atsuhime's hand raised, suprisingly she was the first one to finish. "Oh that was quick Toyama. Well go and read it out loud, and also it better not be one of your silly antics again like the butt comment -.-" She sat on her desk and pulled out a grade sheet and a pencil. "Ok how many Haiku's do you have?"

She smiled. "thirty-five n_n"

She looked at her. "Let me see that paper." She scanned it and thought to herself. "Wow this girl wasn't lying in fact she has 38!" She gave it back to her. "Read 5 and you may go sit back down." She erased Toyama's C- and put in a B+.

The bell rang, signaling the end of class. Nimia shut her History notebook with a snap, and bent down to pick up her sketchpad when she discovered it was gone. "Crap!" she muttered, and searched around under other desks for it. It was no where. "s**t!"

Kyo walked to the front of the room and whispered something unintelligible to the rest of the class. She nodded not looking up from her papers. Kyo slipped out of the room silently. ~I don't think I'll go to any other classes, this is dreadfully boring~ he thought to himself as he walked down the hall. He was amazed that everyone started to attend their classes, the usually busy halls were vacant. ~I guess everyone really wants to attend the ball~ he thought to himself.

She took a deep breathe and red her Haiku's out loud.
"I walk across sand

And find myself blistering

In the hot, hot heat


Falling to the ground,

I watch a leaf settle down

In a bed of brown


It’s cold—and I wait

For someone to shelter me

And take me from here.


The beaches waves hit

Sounding of flooding water

Soothes aches all over


To be a leader,

One must first dream then act out,

fulfillment is yours."
She smiled and sat back down.
