Deora_Alvarez

As Kerana spoke to the Senior Officer, Deora hung back. When the fox was done, she spoke up. "I think it would be best if I stayed here with Heather. She doesn't have to talk, and I don't need to go in the cell. I'll just sit outside it if that okay."

Kerana raised her eyebrow and smiled. "Are you sure about this Deora? I know when I'm balling my eyes out I'd prefer to be alone. But if you feel that there's a chance that it may be different for Heather the by golly I'm on board! Can you take us to her? Like Deora I'll sit outside, and if she talks great and if she doesn't then that's fine too,"

The Count of Monte Carlo
Ako idly wondered what technology Gidget would be jamming into her new artificial limbs when he remembered he still needed to recharge. Now that Gidget seemed comfortable, he allowed himself to think of his own well-being. He quickly located an open outlet on the wall, one a visitor might plug their phone into to charge. It was only a couple of feet away, and he was lucky enough to find a chair to sit in and stay near Gidget while he reached out to touch the outlet and recharge. He remembered at the last moment to let go of Gidget's hand, to avoid daisy-chaining the power to her, but he still hesitated to do so. He didn't want to let her go, but she was lying right in front of him. If anything happened, he could still react.

As his fingers neared the outlet, Gidget suggested her plan for the replacement arm. It took a full couple of seconds for his fatigue-slowed mind to fully register what she said, and what she meant. Any response he originally had was replaced by "Wait, WHAT?" as the realization kicked in.

Gidget giggled and poked her tongue out through her teeth with a scrunch of her shoulders. "Hehehe. I love it when you get all flustered. You may be, like, stupid hot when you're being all cool...but yer just toooo damn cute when you blush."

She glanced over to where his far hand was going and sighed sweetly.

"I know I should be all worried n'stuff, but I just feel way too good on these meds. When you're done recharging, why doncha come over here and hold me like you were this morning before all this nastiness went down."

The SO didn't quite know what to feel. These two were loyal friends, but it was at a level he couldn't comprehend. Nonetheless, he nodded and led them to Heather's cell.

Heather was still laying on the cot where the guards had left her. She heard, and smelled, her friends approaching. Part of her wanted to reach out to them and just hold them while she cried. Yet she made no indication that she was aware of their presence.

The SO looked to the girls and said, "I have a lot of paperwork to file, as well as...arrangements to tend to. Just press the blue button on the wall behind you, and you'll be escorted out when you're ready."

Theo just slowly dozed off but did hold a good grip on Trinity's collar in his hand.

From somewhere miles away, someone sent Liv a text.

We have just been informed of Mister Richards' gruesome demise. The situation at Valhalla has deteriorated, and my employer feels that you are the only competent person he can receive a proper AAR from.

If you would, at your earliest convenience, make your way to the attached location it would be much appreciated.

Sincerely,

Ikari Hashirama: personal aid to the head of Daedalus>

The attachment is a picture of a nondescript office with an address just below it. In the picture is an elderly man slouched in a wheelchair. Standing beside him is a tall, slender, clean cut Japanese man in butler's attire.

Liv had just finished taking a shower. Today started out great. Then it just went to s**t. Sure she managed to drain Trinity and make out with a pretty damn hot Heather but did she ever get a word of thanks for saving Trinity or helping to fight that damn Shadow thing? No, and to top it all of that b***h Gidget had to come in her face and say all of that? Screw her! Without Liv she wouldn't even have a best friend left. Or anyone for that matter. She saved all of them!

Atleast that idiot Chuck was gone. That guy was so obsessed with Trinity.

"Great, now I'm just pissed off again." She mumbled to herself as she finished dressing herself. It wasn't anything fancy or daring as she normally does. Just plain old jeans and a tight black T-shirt. As always her clothing hugged her skin tight but that was simply how she liked it. She was never a fan of loose clothes.

As she dropped on her couch she noticed she had a message. The top dog huh? She wasn't planning on going out but now that she had to, she needed to look good. And quite possibly more formal. Though it was a bit of a hassle, she got changed again. High heels, an office skirt that was above her knees but still not short enough for her usually style, after all it had to be formal, different top. Good thing she had this Outfit.

Liv made her way to the center of her room and stood beneath her window. Despite having the ability to travel through shadows, this method was still the one she preferred. It didn't take her long to reach the location mentioned in the text message. It really did look bland.

A few seconds after Liv entered, the wall to her right slowly swung open. Through the entry stepped the butler. He swept his right hand in front of himself while keeping his left to side. He executed a respectful bow before returning his gaze toward her.

He spoke with no hint of a Japanese accent. Instead his speech suggested he studied in Europe, perhaps somewhere in the UK.

"Miss Crystalion, I presume. I am Ikari Hashirama, personal aid to Mister Blithe. Please do forgive the lack of a proper welcome. Not much time has passed since I sent my correspondence, and we were not expecting you for a few more hours at least. I must say, you are quite prompt. " he said with an amused smile.

Liv gave a more polite response. Flirting had no place here and she knew it. Plus she prefered it this way. She didn't trust Daedelus all the way. After all..she is a Meta. She gave a nod as he introduced himself and as a confirmation that she was Liv Crystalion.

"I was not doing anything at the time. Plus the ability to travel through light allows me to save a lot of people time. A girl doesn't need that much time to get ready, ya know?" She replied with a small laugh."So what exactly is this about if I may ask."

Ikari calmly stated, "As you may know, the decision to hire you to act as a mole within Valhalla was made by Mister Blithe. Mister Richards was given the responsibility of acting as your liaison to my employer. A decision, in hindsight, that was certainly an egregious error. Mister Blithe had no knowledge of Mister Richards' plan to stage a coupe, and as such cannot rely the security personnel who were in on incident."

"You, however, are an objective outsider. Mister Blithe believes that, as he puts it, our heavenly agent can shed light on the situation. He is willing to further compensate you for your time."

He then stepped aside to allow Liv access to the hidden room. "After you Madam."

From where Liv was standing it could be seen that the hidden room was a great deal more lavish than the office she and Ikari were currently occupying.

So there are more people inside.... Liv thought to herself as Ikari explained himself. She chuckled internally a bit at Blithe's choice of words. Heavenly agent...shedding light. Nice pun on her Light ability.

Liv stepped inside the room which to be honest, looked quite nice. She could definitely get used to that.

"Nice place you got there"

The room was adorned with all the amenities one could ever want in a secret room. In one corner was a kitchenette with various coffee and tea machines as well as a bar and refrigerator. The adjacent corner was a bathing nook of sorts, with a privacy curtain that could be put into place. The far wall was home to various monitors and cork boards with a myriad of charts, printouts, pictures, portraits, and various other data.

The whole thing was centered by a large half circle desk. Behind this desk was the man known as Alistar Blithe. He looked worse for wear, hunched over in a wheelchair and attached to various medical devices (many of which were adorned with the AM logo indicative of Gidget's company).

Ikari stepped behind Blithe and checked on his employers oxygen levels before wheeling him before Liv.

"You flatter me, dear." croaked the old man. "You should have seen what the prior iteration was like before it was destroyed by Shane Morris."

"But where are my manners? I am Alistar Blithe. You've already met my assistant, Ikari. Would you like something to eat or drink before we get started, Miss Crystalion?"

Trinity gasped as she let in her first breath of fresh air in her lungs. As the machine detected she was breathing due to carbon levels, the liquid started to drain. A couple of nurses stood by with a towel and a wheelchair just in case. Her eyes slowly opened she at first thought it was her senseis and could almost hear Teshomaru say "kage-chan" which was followed by some scolding, like last time. But when the room came into focus she realized it wasn't them.

The liquid continued to drain she could feel her feet touch the floor of the container she is in. She held her shoulders and shivered becuase the liquid was warm, to aid in bringing her body up to proper temperature. After the liquid was finished draining there was an alert that sounded. The floor lowered to the same level as everyone else then the glass raised up to the ceiling. One of the nurses wrapped her in a towel the other nurse offered her a wheelchair with a blanket. She nodded and sat down and focused on warming up. "Thanks, I think I'm good for now." She said dismissing the nurses. She looked to Theonis, "Hey there stud, I know… we need to talk."

The commotion around him woke him up. And it seemed he wasn't the only one who woke up. So did Trinity. He wasn't a praying man. Hell, he wasn't even religious nor believed in any form of heaven. But he couldn't help but thank god.
Anxiously he waited for all of them to leave

To say he was relieved to hear her voice was an understatement. He never had a sigh of relief like that before. Getting up he walked over to her. Before answering he just picked her up, out of her wheelchair and sat back down on his chair with Trinity tightly in his arms. When he sat down he only gave a tighter hug.

"Not now.....right now...just stay like this." He said softly as he buried his face in her shoulder to also suppress the tears that were emerging. It was slowly coming out. The feelings of helplessness and that of losing Larry, who's blood was still all over him. Including his face. Theo hated feelings this...weak and fragile.

"From what I've heard Shane was quite good at destroying things." Liv responded. And now that she thought about it. Maybe she would have been the perfect one to take him down. After all....she could cancel out all Meta related abilities. Which would include Shane's freak ability.

"It...has been a while since I last ate anything. It's been a hectic day. I would like to take you up on that offer. I am not too picky about my food."

Blithe craned his head toward his aid and asked, "Ikari, if you would be so good as to bring the young lady and I something to sate our hunger?"

"Of course, sir." Ikari responded politely before excusing himself to prepare something for the three of them to eat.

Blithe returned his attention to Liv and motion for her to have a seat. "Please, make yourself comfortable Miss Crystalion. While Ikari sees to our meal, perhaps we could start the debrief?"

He barely choked out the sentence before having a small coughing fit. He brought a plastic oxygen mask up to his face and took several deep breathes.

"Please excuse me. My health hasn't been up to par as of late."
