More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Liv did as the man suggested and took a seat.

"No need to apologize for something you can't control." Liv replied with a small smile.

"Where do I start....I do not know the circumstances but it all began when the pods began to hatch. The ones that spawned from Shane, or Legion as he called himself when he turned into godzilla. Gidget stepped down and Trinity took over for a short while. After which she too stepped down allowing Chuck to rise in power. From there on it all went down hill"

Blithe stayed silent and pensive as Liv spoke before stroking his chin.

"A rather strange series of events, I must say. We had received reports that Shane had managed to escape with his sister's body last week with the assistance of Annabella Soulsmith. Am I to surmise that Agatha Morris is no longer housed in a machine?"

… Getting up he walked over to her. Before answering he just picked her up, out of her wheelchair and sat back down on his chair with Trinity tightly in his arms. When he sat down he only gave a tighter hug.

"Not now.....right now...just stay like this." He said softly as he buried his face in her shoulder to also suppress the tears that were emerging. It was slowly coming out. The feelings of helplessness and that of losing Larry, who's blood was still all over him. Including his face. Theo hated feelings this...weak and fragile.

Trinity would admit wasn't ready to talk she wanted to rest a bit after recovering from all of that. Though she wasn't expecting him to pick her up from the wheelchair, especially since he looked so worned out. It felt good to feel him tightly holding her.

She smiled a little and watched him burry his face in her shoulder. Trinity felt awful, she had made go through all of that, he must have doubted that she was going to come back. "I'm so, sorry…I'm so sorry you had to endure all of that. It must have been awful."

"I....I kept your heart and lungs going while you were out. I didn't know what else to do. Couldn't risk brain damage. I felt so helpless.It was all I could do. You don't know how scared I was of losing you." Theonis continued. His grip became a little tighter but not uncomfortable.

"Larry's dead. I couldn't save him. I got....all of this power...and I couldn't even....damnit" The tears flowed freely now. "And then you...." He thought he was more used to the feeling. But he still was just a kid despite being 20. He already lost his friends when Daedelus invaded plus the guilt of killing hundreds of other kids when he lost control over his power. But that moment...they were counting on him to keep him alive.

"Correct. She is back in her human body now. From what I understand she couldn't handle her emotions very well during critical times so that's why she stepped down. Can't blame the girl. She spent puberty in a machine that only emulated emotions. She couldn't really feel them" Liv replied.

"Oh and I am not sure if it was a little side project but one of the non-meta staff began to date someone who turned out to be from Daedelus. Gave her a pretty necklace too. Which contained meteorite. So now she is a Meta. Just wanted to let you know that worked. If it was anything."

Blithe raised an eyebrow at the last comment. "That...is interesting. I will have to look into that. Thank you for the information."

Ikari stepped between them and set up two folding tables. Upon them he placed a plate of what appeared to be some sort of roast with a vegetable medley. He followed that up with a glass of wine each to accompany.He finished with setting down a fork, table knife, and spoon for Liv and Alistar.

Blithe nodded and dismissed his aid before returning his attention to Liv.

"Now, you mentioned that things went 'downhill.' Would you please elaborate on that?" he asked before taking an unsteady bite of the roast.

But he still was just a kid despite being 20. He already lost his friends when Daedelus invaded plus the guilt of killing hundreds of other kids when he lost control over his power. But that moment...they were counting on him to keep him alive.

She took her free hand from under her the blanket and towel and placed it on his cheek. "I know it may not mean much now but know that it was not your fault. You did everything you could, but it was just his time. Believe me it doesn't get any easier no matter how many times you face that. If I had my powers he wouldn't be in that mess. I didn't want him to fight me battle for me, I tried to get him out of there…but he didn't listen… she looked down a little. How is his sister holding up?"

" No, it wasn't his time! I could have saved him!" He said as he looked up. Tears rolling through the dried up blood, leaving a more fresh trail." She was the one who begged me to stop." He took a small pause." Something happened to her and she became a dragon. I pretty much gave her the okay to fry Chuck, which she did. So at least you don't have to worry about him anymore."

Liv thanked Ikari and began to eat. She didn't know what to expect but it was pretty good.

"Of course. The first thing that idiot did was to call Trinity a traitor and tried to have her arrested. The moment she left, he made sure there weren't any shadows for her to crawl out of. He put up fake video's of her as proof that she was a traitor. I mean who does that? Trying to drag the image of someone the entire complex trusts without any buildup?" Liv continued.

"Anyway, later when Trinity did make it back she got arrest and they were doing to settle it in a freaking arena! He was winning but the fight got interrupted and he killed the one who did. Got his legs chopped off and then got burned to a crisp."

"Then...there was something else. I don't know what they were but it seemed like there were....meta powers manifested somehow? I don't know the details but it happened. From what I heard, there were 3 total. Shadow...Water and Electricity. I don't know what happened to the other 2 but the shadow was defeated." She continued to eat and took a sip of wine.

"So yeah...it went downhill."

"Very interesting." Blithe commented before dabbing his mouth with a napkin.

"This...shadow being...was it created by Trinity? We have seen her create massive beasts out of the shadows: such as the one that kept Legion at bay."

"She was fighting it so, no it wasn't hers.Nor was it made by her teachers. I don't think anyone made it. But from what I understand...they were all trying to feed. To devour the Meta's similar to them. Electricity first went for the power generator when it ran into Ako. The shadow first appeared in the shadow realm and was feeding in there until it spotted Trinity. I haven't heard anything about Annie But I heard the water being didn't try and feed. I dunno why." Liv responded.

"Valhalla is way more dangerous than I thought it would be. It just seems to be the main center of attention of everything".

"Good good. If Trinity did not summon the beast, and was unable to defeat Richards, that must mean that you were successful in the mission we told him to ask you to accomplish."

"We have been aware of your rare absorption ability for some time, and so we felt it would be beneficial if Valhalla's most dangerous asset were to become powerless."

"Am I correct, do you now possess the power to command the shadows?" he asked most eagerly.

Liv dropped her fork but it was caught mid air by a hand made out of shadow which handed it back to her.

"Yes, I do." Her hand crackled with electricity as she accepted the fork." I've picked up a few more. Just not permanently. Wouldn't want to raise too much suspicion. Then again, they now know I can do that. Which in turn could provide me with more chances actually. Not everybody is happy they are a Meta and may want to get rid of that aspect of their lives."

"However...." Liv hesitated." I am not sure if she completely lost her power. Something....strange happened. She had taken over an aspect of one of her teachers and I think that through that, she may have regained her power. Perhaps fully perhaps partial. I don't know yet. She is still recovering. I don't have a good explanation for it."

Beads of sweat began to develop on Alistar's brow. "That...is most unfortunate. Her teacher, Freya Soichi, was in our custody. That is, until most recently. There were...mistakes made. The creature Miss Soichi was host to broke free. We were hoping...were hope."

Blithe began to sway in his seat as his vision blurred. He squinted his eyes and looked over at his aid. "Ikari...you?"

The assistant was smiling at his employer. It was a smile that was both serene, and sinister. He pressed a button that closed and sealed the secret door that led to the bland office. There was the sound of suction as it pressurized the room.

"Indeed, sir. I am afraid our contract is now null and void. You failed to keep your half of the bargain, and so now I must collect."

Blithe began to convulse and gag. As he did a black ooze worked it's way out of every orifice. It was over almost as soon as it began. He lay still, now looking as dry as a mummy. His eyes were rolled in the back of his head. His mouth was agape in a grotesque, frozen scream. The ooze was working it's way towards Ikari's shadow like little black slugs.

Ikari walked toward his late employer's wheelchair. The ooze worked it's way into the butler's shadow like water to a sponge. He turned the wheelchair and rolled it toward a wall. The old man's body burst in a large spray of dust and hair upon contact.

Ikari pulled up a chair and sat across from Liv. He smiled at her, the same disturbing look of serene malice. "Do not worry yourself Miss Crystalion. Your food is quite safe, as was his." he assured her as he took a bite of Alistar's meal. "Although I did seem to go a bit too heavy on the paprika. Oh well, c'est la vie."

"Although, I feel obligated to warn you. While I have no intention of harming you, any attempt at escape on your part will be met with dire consequences. I simply want to discuss the matter of your failure to procure my sister's essence." he warned.

"Are you okay?" Liv asked before the man accused Ikari. Such a cliche. The butler did it. But the way he died was....unsettling. If it were poison it wouldn't have worked on Liv anyway. Her regeneration would prevent that.

Liv did her best to remain calm and for the most part it worked. But still....Not her choice to take someone out.

"That's...good to know." Liv said as she took another bite. From what she had seen this guy was a demon like the one in Trinity. Brother to that one as well.

"So I take it you are....Chaos incarnate as your sister called you?" The more she thought about it. The less unsettled she became and more composed. Good luck trying to stop her. If she could stop the demon in Trinity she could stop this guy.

"That was never my mission nor was I informed of that. If Chuck simply didn't tell me then there is your problem." She crossed her legs as she sat." I drained Trinity as I was told."Liv calmly stated as she twirled the wine in her glass.
