She hated how often she was right. She stopped in her tracks when the woman landed in front of her. Anger flashed over her face, but for a only a moment. There wasn't much she would be able to do to this woman. She had a feeling that that suit wasn't just for looks. The suit. An idea popped into her head. Her powers effects wouldn't be nearly on as large of a scale, nor would they work quickly... but if she gave it enough time and energy.. she might be able to come on on top.

Kali looked behind her, but her face remained as cold as stone. She had no idea who this man was, but she wasn't about to let herself go down without a fight. Instead, she came to a quick stop.

Gidget slowly approaches the girl. She puts her hands up passively. "You don't have to run. It's just a matter of time before Daedalus finds you three, and you don't want that. Your best bet is to come with me. Free room and board, school, food, clothing. The only thing we require in return is that you not use your power with malicious intent."

Also, if you are trying to wipe my memory, it's not going to work."

Ako had been expecting a chase, and was caught a bit off guard when the girl just stopped. He gritted his teeth as he locked up the brakes, torturing the tires once more, hoping it would be enough to keep from hitting the girl. He was able to relax when he came to a stop a few feet away, just a bit of smoke drifting from the rear wheel. He took his hands off the handlebars and held them out to his sides, showing he meant no harm, saying "I don't know who you are, or why you're running, but I'm sure you don't have to. Gidget just wants to help."

Jeze laughed softly. So this woman knew about her powers somehow. While she might have been able to alter her mind, there was nothing anyone could do to save the luck. She stared at the woman and felt the familiar warm tingling feeling of her powers. If something went wrong in her suit, she wouldn't be able to fight. Just a small something. her knitted her brows together as she lowered the probability of just that.

Kali looked at the man without a word. Her eyes narrowed somewhat. "My sisters and I... we don't need help." Her stance was relaxed, her arms loose at her sides. Her eyes following Ako's every move, almost never blinking.

Trinity tracked down the co-ordinates and found that they lead to Alec's door. She didn't really know much of the kid, since he hardly came out of his apartment and seemed to keep to himself. She heard from Kerana that he writes poetry but that was it. When she found the hall where of where the co-ordinates were she started asking people if they had seen North or a security officer and so far no one did or at least admit that they did.

She got to Alec's door and was about to knock when she saw Kerana open the door. "Oh, hi Kerana, didn't know you were here. Didn't mean to interrupt but I just wanted to ask if either of you seen a security officer named, North around here, approximately 30 minutes ago?"

The creature feigns contemplation and says, "He did stop by here. He said he was checking on the residents after the alarms went off. He had a look in his eyes that said he wanted something else, but then he just left. Said something about going to see his mother."

"Alright thanks." she makes her exit and continues going door to door. While doing so Trinity thought it strange that it told Alec where it was going. Why would it tell him? It did seem suspicious to her but there was a possibility that it could have mentioned it in passing. Another thing that didn't click was that North was 'checking up on residences' the others were either not in the room at the time or had not seen him at all, wouldn't he be stopping on a room to room bases? Plus she doubted that there was a Residence Check for this scenario, none of the other guards were out and about checking residences at least as far as she could tell. After talking to a couple of other rooms she decided to follow her instincts and keep an eye on Alec. She sees Kerana and Alec head toward the Dining Hall far behind them Trinity drops through her shadow and follows them.

Gidget's scanners monitor the rise in the girl's "spore" levels. Type 3's use their powers by way of producing a type of spore to affect the area around them. Annie Soulsmith could change water into acid, and Tansy can bend light into solid objects.

The teen's levels were rising slowly. Gidget cautions the girl as she approaches, "I told you that isn't going to work. Please just--wha?!"

Gidget's HUD displays the symbol for a dropped firewall. All of a sudden her vision is occluded by pop up windows displaying obscene photos from adult fetish sites. Gidget's head pans slightly left and right as though she is trying to shake them loose. She tries desperately to close them and raise her firewalls, but they keep coming.

"What did you do? No one can drop my firewalls."

Ako struggled to think of something to say, anything to get the girl to stay there until Gidget could come over and help. He didn't know what Gidget was offering these girls earlier, and so had no idea what to tell her. Unless, was Valhalla still open? It would make sense, he'd only speculated that it would be closed, and he doubted Gidget would just let them close it down.

"Gidget, the girl in the suit back there, she can offer you a place to stay, free food, and probably even some training to help hone your power. Why would you turn that down?" He asked, going out on a limb.

Justine looked at the girl oddly, which was missed because of the cloth wrapped around her face, but didn't really say anything. "The lounge would be great." She laughed softly, not really wanting to stay in the loud dinning hall for longer then she had to. Frankly, the place was giving her a headache. Her vision was all messed up, and trying to dim everyone out was not always easy...

Angel screamed in playful laughter as she took off, flying over the subdistrict. She glanced back over her shoulder to see how close he would get. Before when they flew, she was helping him. It would be a good use of his powers to not only see how he he could get by himself, but how fast. And if for some reason he fell, Angel could catch him with little to no problem. She smiled to herself.

Jeze smile was evil and twisted. "I didn't drop your... firewalls.... I just lower the probability of something malfunctioning in that lovely suit of yours." She placed her hands on her hips, feeling like she had the upper hand once more. Actually, she was quite proud of herself, something she didn't normally let herself feel. But this woman was annoying, and shower her a thing or two made Jezebel strangely happy. "That's what I do. Call me Lady Luck, but today.. it just isn't your lucky day."

Kali scoffed, almost silently. "My sisters and I... we don't need help." She repeated. "We don't need charity."
"KALI!" Liadan cried out as she ran up towards her sister.
Kali turned towards her sister, who seemed slightly out of breath. She titled her head to the side in question and Liadan nodded to her.
Lia took a deep breath to clam her racing heart, then look at at Ako. "I don't want to try to fight her. It would be better for you to say you couldn't catch up with us." Lia stood, having caught her breath. "Kali's never lost a fight."

Ako watched calmly as another sister approached, wondering the point of splitting up if they were just going to meet up again this soon. He watched their short conversation quietly, but couldn't keep a smile from his face at the mention of Kali's fight record. "Funny," He chuckled a bit, "Neither have I."

He placed his hands, one atop the other, on the bike's gas tank. The engine still rumbled idly beneath him, ready to get going if he needed to, though he doubted he would. "I'm not interested in fighting you, but I'm not about to say I couldn't catch someone. So why don't we change the subject? My friend was pretty intent on getting you to come with her, which either means she knows you're in a bad situation, or you caused one. I'm guessing from the scene around you when I arrived, the latter is the case. So maybe I should change my offer: Come with me, peacefully, and we won't have to fight. Things tend to go much better without fighting."

"Alright then, to the lounge." Deora said. She picked up the trays and made sure Justine had a grip on her arm before making her way out of the dining hall. She paused for a second just outside the door, trying to remember where the lounge was. "Oh, yeah." she muttered when it came to her. It was only a few doors away, but she'd only been there once.

In no time they passed through the door into the mercifully quiet lounge. The dull roar of conversation was replaced by a low murmur, and even Deora's ears felt relieved. She lead Justine over to a corner booth and set the trays down before taking a seat. "Much better, eh?"

"Come here you!" He shouted after her happily. His powers started to feel more natural to him as he began to understand how many things are affected by pressure or could be manipulated by it. Right now he was using a constant stream of pressure fly forwards at a normal speed. But what if he compressed the air around him and let it out through a smaller area behind him? That should give him a major speed boost.

So he decided to try it while making sure he wasn't directly behind her. If the speed was great enough to catch up to her, he wouldn't want to crash into her. The speed he gained when he did that was insane.
"Wooooaaah!!" he yelled out. Even he didn't expect this much force. Within a few seconds he had caught up to her but it was hard to adjust the pressure from the air against his body and he was having trouble maintaining a straight course. He struggled to maintain it but managed. That was something he would rather not do again if he didn't have to. As Theonis looked to the side he could clearly see her flying figure a around 30 meters next to him. Looks like this burst of speed had really knocked him off course.

Gidget can't believe that this sort of power could even exist. Power over probability. Well if that was this girl's game, then Gidget was determined to out think her.

Gidget releases a quick pulse of short range energy to dissipate the spores around her. A trick she had developed to temporarily protect herself from type 3's, it didn't last more than a few seconds. But a few seconds is all she needs.

She reaches up to her face with her right hand and removes the plate. It reveals the inner workings of her head. It's mass of cameras, wires, boards, chips, and a speaker where the mouth should be. She reaches into the middle of her head and removes a circuit board. This board holds the omni-system. Without it Gidget's global surveillance doesn't function in this suit. It also means no connection to the world wide web.

Gidget holds up the board and crushes it in her left hand. There is a shower of sparks and her HUD flashes a disconnection from the omni-system. The windows close and Gidget can see her adversary again. She replaces the face plate and speaks to the girl sternly.

"Well lady luck, unless you have the ability to block electricity, you're SOL."

She holds up her right hands and it clicks and shifts like a transformer into what looks like a small cannon. She levels it off at the girl and fires a blue ring of electricity roughly the size of a volley ball. Normally it would be larger, but lady luck is still technically a child.

Angel watched wide eyed as as Theonis shot towards her. She laughed brightly when she saw him shot off towards the side. She looked over at him and smiled. "Having a few problems over there?" She grinned at him and flipped back so that she was under him. "Come on, you still haven't caught me yet."

"You're telling me." She laughed softly as she took a seat in the booth and sighed. It was nice to be able to 'see' again. Everything was easier in fact. Although her head still hurt. She figured that she would take a few pain killer after she ate. She would need to talk to Gigdet first just to make sure, but she didn't think there would be a problem with it. "So... I don't mean to pry... but where you living on the streets before you came here?"/color]
