[Nova Blancke]

"Well...no matter what your current situation is regarding your...dual wielding of the opposite magics, a Crest is a necessity for magic. You cannot use it with out one. Most appear on the back while others seem to appear where ever they please. It varies from person to person. " Nova explained.

" But I shall wait with examining it. It requires direct contact and I am sure you would like to keep your clothes on right now"

Alec's shoulders are notably less scrunched up. Like a long tied knot has come undone. No, there would be no regrets for him. Even if "they" could never be, he feels better after having told her.

The idea of losing his wolf spirit did frighten him. Ye,t now that he thinks about it, maybe being human wouldn't be such a terrible thing. Because then he wouldn't be tied to that damnable pact.

"C'mon, let's head down."

Alec leads the way down the stairs and approaches the table just as Nova says,

Alec's cheeks blush as he mutters, "Um..."

Trinity's eyes shifted to glare to a glare at Nova. "No you're not. Let's go. "
With that adjusted her trench cloak and was following Alejandro's path.

"Very well" Nova calmly replied as he followed. He had no issues with her taking charge. She seemed to be rather fond of it. Nova allowed her to indulge in it for now.

"Alejandro, we are ready. Lead on my feathered friend." He said smoothly.

Alejandro Inazuma

Alejandro nodded under his hood and began to lead the way. He opened up his map and took out a small pot of ink. He then pulled out one of his feathers and dabbed it into the ink and started to calculate the shortest and safest route. He walked over to Nova and showed him the map. "Hey, Nova, what do you think if we pass through the forests just on the edge of the mountains? It would be quicker, we could easily avoid patrols, but we would be far from any town of human contact. Our only other route would be straight through one of the few capitols of the..." He paused. The other path wound lead them straight into the thieves den. The choice was simple, the mountain path or the thieves den. "Normally, I would pass by no problem, but none of you have wings... What do you think?" he asked.

That's...quite resourceful Nova thought to himself as he saw Alejandro pluck out a feather. At first he thought Alejandro was going to show Trinity the map but perhaps Alejandro saw him more of a leader. Or it was simply because Nova was closer by.

"Hmmm, avoiding towns would certainly be better for you and Trinity. I prefer a bed than the ground but either way is fine with me. On the other hand big towns have information. Even rumors might be useful. Talk of unnatural occurrences and such." Nova replied with his arms crossed." But for now it's best to leave the ..students out of unnecessary danger. Because lets face it, you and Trinity kind of have a bounty on your heads."

He turned to Trinity."What do you think?"

"I think we could split up and rondevouz. You three can find more information while there are no bounty hunter distractions to get in the way.". Trinity said while folding her arms.

Alejandro Inazuma

Alejandro nodded. "That would work... But how are they going to find there way..." He said. He then got an idea. "Do any of you have any gems on you perhaps? Nova, are you familiar with memory stones?" He asked. If he could make one with his memory of the hidden paths, he wouldn't have to worry about them getting lost or loosing their path on the map.

"Splitting up.That would certainly reduce the odds of specific trouble. However I can't really train you if you are not with me. But I suppose that does not need to happen right away. Perhaps you could contemplate on what you might be doing wrong and why." Nova explained himself.

"As for your question Alejandro, I do know about them. Copy your selected memories to a gem for another to use. However I do not need one." Nova tapped his head with two fingers." The map is already in here. Alec might desire it because a guardian should know the area." He gave Alec a quick glance. It was not meant to sound demeaning or anything of the sort. Reaching for a gem in his robe, Nova gave it to Alejandro.

Alejandro Inazuma

"Thanks." He thanked Nova as he took the gem. He brought the gem up to his forehead and closed his eyes. The gem started to glow brightly, then faded to a small glow. He chanted some words in his language, causing a small magic circle to appear around it, then fade. "It has been done. Witch one of you shall accept it?" He asked.

Alec gives Nova a surprised look. Maybe this guy isn't so bad after all. He feels a little bad for thinking Nova was trying to show off earlier.

He meekly steps up to Alejandro and takes the crystal. He looks at it for a moment while feeling a warm glow coming from within. He turns it over a few times in his hand before blushing a bit and admitting, "Um...I don't know how this works."

Alejandro Inazuma

Alejandro gave a small laugh. "Its actually quite simple, Alec. Simply hold it between both your hands and speak the following phrase: Illuminati, ut intellegat meam praeteritam meliores ostendite futurum." He explained. "And when your done, simply call out: Mei praeterierunt me intellexi sic proceditur." He continued. He then smiled. :I had a hard time remembering it the first few times, so don't feel bad if you mess up. Just try again a few times until you get it." He finished as he turned back to Nova and Trinity. He took another look at the map. "How long do you think it will take you to reach the mountains?" He asked Nova as he pointed to White-stone peak. Contrary to the name, it was actually a vegetated mountain, and contained many sources of water. It had received its name do to the white rocks that were found at its peak.

Translation: 1) Illuminati, show me my past so that I may better understand my future. 2) I have understood my past and can thus proceed.

Alec looks up at Alejandro and smiles awkwardly. "Um...thanks. I'll do my best."

Internally he was blowing his own mind with the fact that he could barely pronounce those words, let alone memorize them.
