Gidget hummed happily as she went about her daily routine of tinkering with new inventions. The last month had started out rough. She wasn't able to get any proof that Liv was involved with the attempted coup. However, she was right about who was responsible for the incredibly quick video edits.

Gidget gave Kodak the opportunity to bow out gracefully in light of his many years of service. It was still a sore spot for her though.

Speaking on sore, the time to get used to having new limbs took a good deal longer than she had expected. Oh sure, she had successfully created a new arm and leg capable of full range of motion, complete sensation, and cosmetically identical to their twin. She had even made several arms and legs with various functions.

It was the binding of her nerves that took a toll on her. She was in bed for almost a week after the operation to graft the connection bases. Luckily, her favorite guy ever was with her every step of the way.

Her train of thought was thrown off when a notification buzzer went off at one of her many computer panels. She rolled across the floor in her office chair and took a look at the monitor. It was an update on the activities of the water core. She sighed happily, seeing that nothing had changed.

She rolled back to her station and continued soldering transistors to the circuit board she was working on.

"Yeah that sounds good. I think I will go home for the time being. I'm on call anyways. You're not the only one that's losing sleep. Gidget had it easy, she could do just plug herself into the system and get s**t done. Ahh well, I chose this job. Ain't gonna complain now." Theo said as he straightened his tie.

"But, if you do need a....distraction you know where to find me." Theo said with a playful wink. He may be the top dog now, but his general attitude towards Trinity didn't change. He knew the line between work and private. So he'd never say this when someone else was around. But they weren't at the moment.

Trinity felt bad when he mentioned that he too was not getting enough sleep. She hoped to not disturb him so much by running it off. Then he mentioned distraction, she smiled and was glad that some things don't change. "I'll be sure to let you know if I do." She appreciate the fact that he wasn't mixing business and pleasure. In fact she stressed that before he proceeded to take up the position that they both need to keep it professional.

"I'll also let you know if I need to be locked up." She blew him a kiss and started heading toward Liv's apartment. Her mind seemed silent right now, which was a good thing, or so she thought. When she arrived at Liv's she knocked on the door.

"Though I'd prefer if it's the first." Theo said as she left. He let Julie know he was going back to his apartment.

Meanwhile Liv's room was even more radiant that it had before. She had hung up several large mirrors on the wall to reflect as much light as she could. Light was good. She felt safe in the Light. It's not like she was afraid of the dark. No, darkness she could handle but the shadows....those got to her. Every time she heard those damn voices. They weren't even saying anything! Just....voices. Liv sat in the middle of her room underneath the giant window as she heard the knocks on the door. On instinct she shot a beam of light at it. Nothing happened. It was just light. With some effort she got up and wobbled towards the door to open it. The door was opened just slightly. Enough for her to see who it was. Liv was utterly exhausted from her constant use of her light power and lack of sleep. Bags underneath her bloodshot eyes, her hair was a mess, her mascara had run.

"W-what d.d.do you want." She said stuttering as her eyes darted around.

Trinity was squinting her eyes. Her eyes had bags under neath them as well. As her eyes adjusted, "I wanted to check up on you. Theonis and I have been worried about you. What's been going on?"

With all of this light she suspected that she was doing her best to stay away from shadows. If she's been using her power constantly to do just that, then perhaps they could go to the light cell Theonis had prepared. It may be best for the both of them and would give Liv a break from using her power for a bit. By the looks of it a break she could use.

"I doubt you were wo-worried." Liv replied.

She didn't open the door further. Just kept it like that.

"If I had know th ha-that voices w-w-were part of your p-p-power I'd have never taken it."

"The voices were not originally part of my power. I've been haunted by voices as well, I fear that you may be dealing with something similar. You remember the demon, that...I became a host for? I'm afraid when you were absorbing my power you may have absorbed the demon as well. I'm guessing by the look of things you're using your power to keep the shadows away constantly. Theonis has his light cell do you want to go there with me for a while? It nulls out all shadow, just like the one in Daedalus did."

She paused a moment as Liv thought about it "There's something else I've been meaning to say, things have been so messed up for me as well since that day." she rubbed her shoulder a little. "I wanted to say thank you. Thank you for your help, I wasn't sure we could have done it without you. I really appreciate you coming through then." She felt ashamed that it took so long to thank her for her efforts but, better late than never, right?

"Silhouette.....need...need Silhouette" Liv mumbled to herself as she quickly looked behind her to see if it was all still the same.

"Yeah, yeah okay you're welcome" Liv replied kind of out of it before she shouted at her illuminated room. " SHUT UP DUSK! LEAVE ME ALONE!" Her hands were in her hair gripping her head tight. She was in agony.

"Let..le lets go." Liv quickly moved through the door and shut it. With both hands she grabbed hold of Trinity's hand as she shone brighter. "Too many shadows around. So...so many."

Shade was practically beating against the door of Trinity's mind as she shouted, "DUSK! Trinity, let me out! Let me take over, put me in a shadow avatar, I do not care! I have to speak with that woman! Please Trinity! If she has been tainted by the same darkness the star stone imbued in me...just let me talk to her! I beg of you!"

Trinity understood why Liv reacted the way she did. This month had been rough on her as well. She pulled out a pair of sunglasses to help cope with the bright light she was emitting.

She brought up her smartphone and started sending a text:
Trinity

We're going to the light

Trinity dropped her smartphone as the demon made her fuss. She looked away from Liv. "No! Stop! Not now..." she slowed and steady her breathing as she thought, Liv is really spooked right now and the last thing she needs right now is to come face to face with a demon. Just let me ask some questions first and then we'll see what we can do about your inquiries. As soon as things start to calm down.

"Sorry about that, I've got my share of voices in my head as well." she picked up her smartphone and continued taking Liv to the light cell. Asking troops along the way since it was kept secret to her. Her soldiers knew that it was meant for her and took things seriously when she asked. Liv and Trinity stepped into the cell with no shadows there was a couple of chairs in the middle of the room that cast no shadows. "Liv, how are you holding up? Do you feel a little better now?" She hoped it would help Liv and keep the demon at bay.

Liv held Trinity's hand tight as they walked. Eyes constantly checking every cranny and corner. No shadow would sneak up on her. She almost seemed impatient at the promise of a place without shadow. Wasting no time as they reached the cell she almost jumped in.

Exhausted Liv dropped herself into the chair. She didn't stop glowing however. No, the light from the cell seemed to drawn to her. Letting out a sigh of relief she began to feed off the light. It never needed to be sunlight, she only preferred that. Her power was similar to that of Ako. Only she didn't have finite charge. No need to recharge in light in order to use her power. But she could rejuvenate herself with Light.

"That's....so much better. Thank you." Liv answered with a honest smile. She truly was glad to be here. Her own light diminished and she stopped glowing. But faint rays of light were still gathering around her.

Trinity smiled as Liv was able to relax, "That's good to hear." At least one of us is at ease "Tell me about these voices you've been hearing. It seams it started when you absorbed my power huh? I'm wondering, if it may have been possible that part of the demon I've been hosting gotten absorbed in the process."

Despite being safe she sometimes quickly glances around as she rubbed her arm a little.

"At first I was fine. Then came the occasion glimpse of something in the corner of my eye. Just out of reach. Like an itch you can't scratch. Then soft whispers. So soft you can barely hear them but you KNOW they are there. So soft you actually start to focus on them...just to hear what they are trying to say. But they never get louder! And when I sleep...I hear...him. Dusk....Telling me my blood will rot and that it will smoke. It would decay everything around me and melt my flesh. So that I would become a shadow...." Liv said as she burried her face in her hands as she recalled those memories.
"I need Silhouette...to stop all of this"

Shade's anxiety only grew as Liv explained the last month's events. She had experienced all of those symptoms at once, when the meteor fragment was forced into an open wound in her chest. Something was slowing down the decay of this woman, and the ancient aimed to know what it was.

"Trinity, what she is describing, you have seen it before. Please, I must speak with her. There may still be time."

As Liv described what Dusk had threatened her over, it did sound like the memory the demon had shared before. Then Trinity rubbed her head as the demon spoke to her once more. Trinity nodded in agreement but then remembered what her brother did to her I'll let you out... but proceed with caution... something about this seems odd and a little too coincidental... it could be a trap. Just don't loose control this time. She's finally able to relax after a month long of sleepless nights.

"Liv, the demon within me has been through a similar circumstance, she wants to talk to you... Please bare with me." She walked to a corner of the room, took off her coat, her breast plate boots all she had on were her black pants. She closed her eyes and muttered, "Don't make me regret this..." She submitted herself to the darkness allowing the heart beat of the demon become louder. Her red blood converted to black blood causing her skin to become a more lilac color. She opened her eyes, they were all black except her red irises. Tears of black blood came from her eyes her ears, her nose and mouth the blood quickly wrapped around Trinity's body. Her chest started to feel heavy as it swelled. The muscles of her body felt stretched as her torso elongated as well her legs and her arms. Her teeth sharpened. She screamed as horns, wings and a tail sprung out bursting out of the black blood cocoon. Her body was the same as before but her attire was different. It kind of gave of the sexy secretary vibe. She wore glasses with no lenses in them, her chocker, a three quarter jacket with spiked shoulder pads, just a black vest instead of a shirt a black mini skirt with a pair of strapped on high heels. After the transformation was done, she licked her lips then strode toward Liv. The transformation was much quicker than the previous time before, it seemed to be progressively quicker with each transformation.

Internally Trinity detected something different about the transformation this time. She wondered that because she and the demon both wanted to help Liv that some of the madness was able to be contained or lessened at least. She hoped that this new attire was a sign of sorts, that things wouldn't get hectic.

((ooc: kind of like this))
