More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Shade looked down at herself. She couldn't help but feel ridiculous in the attire Trinity had managed this time. "So many issues." she grumbled before taking off the unneeded glasses and tossing them aside.

She turned her attention up to Liv and studied her. She could feel the madness clawing at her, but she held steadfast. The situation was dire. She made sure that Trinity's consciousness was intact so that her host could hear the conversation that was about to take place.

"Has your blood begun to smoke yet?" she asked sternly. "If so there is little I can do for you outside of putting you out of your misery."

Liv had already seen her before. To her she was part of Trinity. And she ain't scary.

Liv replied honestly." No, I think that would have happened by now. I can regenerate. Fast healing ya know. And I think the light it slowing that down."

Shade let out an enormous sigh of relief. "Good, then there is still time. You are fortunate. When it happened to me all I could do was scream. It hurt...so...much" she said as she brought her hand to the place where the meteor was jammed into her chest.

"Trinity, what I am about to do will strain our minds to the breaking point. I...I need you believe in me, as I believe in you. If we do this together, we will come out stronger. I am sorry, but it is the only way to save this woman. By extension, it will also save this city."

"Liv, I will be taking back that which was taken from me. I do not know what my brother told you, but there is more than one way out of this for you. Prepare yourself. This will not be pleasant." she warned before swooping upon Liv in the blink of an eye.

She leaned in and demanded with a whisper, "Kiss me."

Liv didn't hesitant at the option of getting rid of all of this. She immediately grabbed the head of the succubus and firmly planted her lips upon hers. The prospect of pain didn't even phase her right now. She would have tried something else if this wouldn't work.

Normally, Shade would have found pleasure in such a thing. This time, however, she dreaded what was to come.

Shade grasped Liv's head and began to suck. It took but a second for things to start happening. She pulled her lips away from Liv slightly. She kept her mouth open as she continued to suck. A stream of malevolent darkness came from Liv and into Shade. The daughter of shadows was siphoning the evil from Liv.

The ancient tensed as the darkness began to come alive within her. For her the sensation was incredible. But she knew she had to be careful, though. If she took it too far, Liv would die. She knew, but it was becoming harder to concentrate.

"There it is! Can you feel it Trinity? The power we are reclaiming. It is disgusting and grand all at once. I-I can feel my mind starting to slip. Help me!"

My body? Again... my subconscious keeps going there... now with a bit of role play I was thinking of sharing with Theonis... this is so messed up and I don't know if talking to Theonis about it would help... or if any action or words will help resolve the situation. When the truth is she could tell he liked Liv's body more... she would do anything to please him. She had never had a relationship be so good and last so long.

Wait a minute... I can still see?... I can hear, what's going on Realizing this she paid attention closely. Well, this is a step up, I think... She felt she made a good call as Shade handled the situation then- Wait what are you- She wasn't sure what was going on but if it meant to save Liv and the city she had to co-operate, there wasn't a real choice in the matter. What? Kiss Liv?! I don't swing- the act was done. At first it didn't make sense but as the kiss happened things made more sense.

As Shade posed her question she could feel it the power flowing through her, it was quite the rush, she wondered if this meant that she would have access to her own power again. I feel it alright. She kept focusing at the task at hand hoping that this would help keep away the madness C'mon! We can do this!

The darkness pouring into Shade's mouth began to turn a lighter tone of gray, then white, then it was a bright light. This was Liv's life essence, the vitae of a succubus. She smiled as the light fed her.

She screamed at herself internally to stop. Her nails dug into Liv's head just shy of drawing blood. She hands began to shake. There was a soft moan, and then a growl as her teeth clamped down and cut off the flow.

The ancient threw Liv off of her and took several unsteady steps backward. She was panting heavily, a smile of mad ecstasy drawing her lips from ear to ear.

"More...I need more. It has been so long." she groaned as she began to shuffle toward Liv. Thankfully, Trinity's words struck a nerve. Shade threw her hands up to her head and grasped the top with her nails. She pulled them apart and tore the shadow cocoon like cheap fabric. With one swift motion, and a cry of defiance, she spread her arms wide and the guise of the succubus disintegrated into thin air.

What remained standing was Trinity in the clothes she was wearing just before allowing Shade to take control.

"There...that should do it. I think I shall rest for a moment. Thank you, Trinity."

When Trinity was preparing for the transformation she was expecting her clothes would be ripped to shreds or absorbed within the transformation. With that in mind she was only wearing a black pair of pants. Disregarding her current attire she steadied her breathing, and went to Liv. Trinity was really concerned about her well being at the moment especially since, from what she could gather, she was nigh killing her.

"Liv, stay with me... don't let my first kiss with a woman be the kiss of death." she shook her a bit trying to wake her.

Eyes sprung wide open as ...something.. got pulled out of her. The succubus was right. It felt so bizarre. Words failed to describe it. It felt somewhat similar to how she felt when she drained someone. Only with the roles reversed she imagined. As she got pushed back she fell back into the chair as every thing went black for a moment.

When she came to she saw Trinity, as half dressed as she was before. Personally she liked her women a bit more curved.

"I've had worse...." Liv groaned.

Trinity sighed out of relief as she Liv made her criticism. She then realized it was bit cool in here then realized she wasn't wearing anything on top. At least I'm not naked this time. She headed toward the rest of her clothes, with her arms folded, covering her chest, "How are you feeling?"

She took her breast plate which was now in the form of a heart. She placed it on her chest then the device wrapped around her like multiple ribbons, interlocking on the back forming her bullet proof armor. She listened as she put on her boots and coat. She wondered briefly, if by absorbing what Liv had meant that she officially got her powers back, or if it went back to the original owner, the demon. It was hard to tell here since she could not sense the shadows in the room, there were none.

"Like I'm hit by a train...from both sides.At least it doesn't feel like a hangover. Give it a few seconds...it'll pass." Liv fell silent for a few seconds." There we go. All better. Gotta love that healing stuff. What about you? Think you got your power back? Guess we first gotta check if I really lost it."Liv said and got up to stretch a little.

Trinity looked at Liv, smiled and adjusted the collar on her coat and said,"There's only one way to find out."

She knocked on the door, "Alright boys the coast is clear." The guards opened the door.

Internally as Shade reclaimed the darkness from Liv, Trinity's fairy-sized ancestor glowed, regaining her normal size. What -what just happened? I thought I was in the process of fading.

As she and Liv stepped out she closed her eyes. She could sense the darkness once more. She dropped from one shadow emerged from another. It was back, her power truly returned, she felt her connection with her ancestor is now whole. She was so happy about it she couldn't wait to tell Theonis. "Looks like I'm back in business. How about you? Anything of my power still lingering?"

Liv tried to move the shadows away from her. And to be surprised, succeeded. She had thought that her shadow manipulation would be gone completely. But it wasn't. Thankfully she wasn't too alarmed. She knew what this was. It was simply an after effect. Her Drain could be used for permanent and temporarily draining the person. She would have limited uses and afterwards that power would be gone. This had to be like that...right? She hoped she was right.

"It'll pass. I can use it limited. So we should be safe..."

Meanwhile Theonis was just taking a shower.

Trinity quirked an eyebrow as Liv tested her ability to manipulate shadow. She heard her answer, then shrugged, "Well, I guess as long as there are no more voices in your head I think we're good here. Right?" In the back of her head she wondered just how would she reveal to Theonis about her power. Should she be subtle and let him figure it out in time or should she spring forth from the darkness, surprising him.

Gidget's monitor began to buzz again. This time it was a notice for a call to the Headmaster of Valhalla. She glanced at the notification, but without taking note of the caller.

"Hermod: forward call to Theonis." she blurted out. The computer beeped and did as she commanded.

After a moment of silence she called out, "Hermond: dial Ako."

The call forwarded to Theonis went from Gidget's lab to the office. After a few rings there the call was again forwarded to his cell phone.

On the other side of the line was a man who was quickly losing his patience. It had never taken Agatha Morris so long to answer his calls before. The fact that she was choosing now to slack off annoyed the man.
