More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Alexavier glances up from his book to look his kid in the eye. He knew exactly what the kid was trying to do. He could even feel it. But it would be a while before his power was up to par with his. If that was even the case. Who knows. Maybe he wouldn't be as strong seeing as he also has his mothers strength but not completely.

"Cute, trying to distract me with that. That's what you were thinking kid. I know someone is coming and I know who it is. I also know why he is coming. Do you?"

Liv gave him a wink. " Nice to meetcha. So you're the boy she keeps talking about." She grew a playful smirk as she looked at her foxy friend." So..this your boyfriend foxy?"

Damien made a face and exclaimed, "Dangit! How do you do that?"

He turned his head around as Theonis approached the two of them. He could tell what the man wanted if he so desired, but he had been told that to do so was an invasion of privacy. Which is why he practiced with Alexavier, because his "father" didn't seem to mind so much.

"D'aw. Must we get down to business so quickly? I was hoping you could get to know me a little better. After all, I've spent the last thirteen years learning everything I can about you."

"Do not allow him to get into your head, Trinity. My brother revels in discord and madness."

The smile widened slightly as he noticed Trinity's momentary distraction. "Was that my sister speaking to you just now? You must be even more naive than I thought to listen a being built for devouring all life."

Shade felt herself seethe with anger at Dusk's words. "b*****d!"

Dusk chuckled, "Heh, your dragon friend is unharmed. I am simply borrowing her for a very troublesome task. Thanks to your friend, the Grand Master of the Soichi clan wont live to see the sunset."

Trinity didn't flinch as Dusk pointed out how Shade was build for 'devouring all life'. Her only reaction happened internally which did not show through on her face We'll discuss this later... If that all he's got that's not what I'm falling for.

"Leave her out of this. Heather has nothing to do with this! Why involve her at all? If it's just a task why not do it yourself? Or have the years residing in my sensei made you so lazy that you had to kidnap someone to do it for you."

...And there it was, the tease. She blushed and nodded with pride cat_3nodding "Yep he's the one I keep talking about. As I mentioned, before, doesn't he have the most gorgeous eyes? This hair cut is great, I can finally admire them with ease." she giggled.

There it was. With just two sentences she made him a blushing mess. He fumbled and dropped his cookie while slightly choking on the piece in his mouth.

"*Hack*Kaaaaay, cut it out."

"Pffft, lazy? I am simply playing a long game, my dear little shadow. And...I did say it was a troublesome task. Some things are just much simpler when you can actually get your hands on a Dragon. I was about to give up on finding one when I finally got video footage of her minor breakdown over the death of her lummox of a brother."

Shade thought about her brothers tactics for a moment. Trinity, he is dodging questions. He only does that when he needs to stall for time. We will not find out where your friend is from him.

He mentioned the Soichi clan. That is Freya's family. We should ask her where the Grand Master lives.

She tried to see if she could get him to gloat about what exactly his plan with Heather. Read my mind…that's my next stop. She let out a huff, "Unlike you I don't have time for playing a long game." She turned away, appearing like an impatient frustraited girl.

She emerged in the corner of Freya's room. "Freya, I need your help. It's Dusk, he plans to use Heather to kill the Grand Master of the Soichi clan. Do you know where I can find the Grand Master?"

Trinity's huffy departure did nothing to sway Dusk's enjoyment. He merely chuckled to himself a moment longer before returning to whence he came.

Freya looked confused for a moment before fully putting together what Trinity said.

"Wha- the Grand Master? Tch, like he could ever get to her. My sister is someplace that cannot be infiltrated by someone like us. It's a big a** floating island that hovers over the Bermuda Triangle. It's the reason so many crazy things happen around there."

"There's no way a single girl would be able to get past their defenses. The only thing that they would allow near the island are aircraft with prior clearance, or a dragon. So unless Heather has a dragon, there's nothing to worry about."

If Shade had a physical body to do it with, she would have slapped the palm of her hand against her forehead.

The depths of her ignorance never cease to astound me.

Shade, in her defense, Heather was not always a dragon. She just regain consciousness earlier today, and probably did not have the chance to catch up on recent events. I'm wondering how he managed to manipulate her into doing what he told her to do... killing more would be the last thing she wants. After rubbing her head a bit.

She was a little relieved that he wasn't referring to Teshoumaru, but she would have to get to the bottom to that later. "Unfortunately that was what Heather is capable of doing now. I'll explain how that happened later but the important part is Dusk found a dragon and has pointed her to head toward your sister. I need to get there before she does and hopefully bring Heather home in one piece."

Freya froze in place for a moment. "Oh...that is not good. The Elves revere dragons as deities. They will bow to Heather and just let her glide past their defenses."

"But even then, once she started attacking it would only be a matter of seconds before they took her down. Unless..."

In a dramatic fashion, she threw off her covers and slid off the bed.

"Shi- *thud*"

Unfortunately, she forgot about muscle atrophy and face planted the moment she tried to stand.

Finally, the depths of Dusk's plan occurred to Shade.

Trinity, if I remember how the shadow defense barrier works, it would require someone with knowledge of seals to allow limited access through the shadow realm.

Dusk may be using Heather as a distraction to open the way for an invasion. He is powerful enough to blink an army if he can make an "exit" shadow.

Freya rolled over and sat up against the bed. "Dusk is gonna use your friend as a free ticket onto the island. Teshoumaru is banished from ever stepping foot there again after what happened the last time. But if the Elves are too busy praising, they wont notice a ninja sneaking a ride on a dragon."

"You'll need a fast ship, and me, to get to that island. Before that, I need a healer and a meteor fragment. Now that the demon is out of me, I can finally meta up without worrying about wrecking the seal."

Elves? It didn't occur to her before, that the whole clan would carry those traits. She had thought for the longest time that it was only she and her senseis were the only ones that carry those characteristics. She wondered briefly if that meant all of them also had the ability to do shadow manipulation.

As Freya tried to get on her feet, she bit her lip. Currently she was in worse shape. She helped her back up on the bed and pressed the button above her bed to summon a healer. She rubbed her head as Shade replied. She listened to Freya's request then quirked an eyebrow at the request for a meteor fragment. "Healer is on the way.... but... a meteor fragment? Freya you can't be serious you don't know what that stuff is going to do to you..."
