"I'd rather not you bring our 'troops' into it. We still got Daedelus around despite them laying low at the moment. So I'd rather not miss too many people around here. I suggest bring plenty of flashbangs or other stuff that produce a lot of light if his....army consists of shadows and the like. I don't know if Liv is up for it but if they are shadows....she and your succubus might be our best weapons. If you can control her."
Trinity nodded in agreement with Theonis' first point. But when he mentioned the succubus she frowned. "I'm not sure if I can control her… I'd rather not resort to that if it can be avoided. Besides, I've got my powers back I may be able to do some damage too y'know?" Confidently she punched her palm "I feel as good as new."
Be mindful of your hubris, Trinity. I must confess that I don't know what Dusk is capable of now. Be prepared to face not only his power, but the full skill of your master as well.
Gidget could see that there was going to be a lot of danger involved with this mission. So she had to make sure that her friends went prepared.
She got up from her chair and walked over to a wall of tools. With a tap of her hand she used her power to make the wall break apart and swivel to show it's reverse side. On it were a cavalcade of small devices made for the purpose of defense against certain types of powers.
"Before you go, you should take some of these with your group. I'd recommend the mental blocker bands that we used for the assault on legion, and the type 2 EM field defense system. It will keep people with type two powers from being able to effect you."
"Also, on the far right, you will see my new series of malleable body armor. It's skin tight, practically weightless, will conform to most transformation, and can stop a few standard small caliber rounds before losing it's structural integrity."
"Is there anything else you can think of that you could need?" |

Nova Blancke "Skin tight huh?" He gave a glance at Trinity with that same grin. "Nice"
As Theonis appeared to be complimenting the thought of seeing her in the new armor Gidget made. Yet she couldn't help but have a subtle doubt that perhaps he really was looking forward to seeing the succubus in the garb. Her thoughts were interrupted as Gidget answered her inquiry.
Rikki Tikki Travi Gidget hesitated for a moment before flipping open another panel. With a great deal of trepidation she presented Trinity with a box of 9mm ammunition.
"It's something I developed in secret. It was just in case...y'know...in case you lost to that succubus. They are made so that they will set off a flash bang a thousandth of a second after penetrating."
Trinity's eyes widen as Gidget explained what they were and why she made them. After absorbing it all it did make sense. "I'm glad you had something just in case. I'm afraid I can't trust myself now in that form, Valhalla isn't safe when I'm in that form." Her eyes lowered as she admitted this. She was supposed to protect Valhalla, not bring it harm. Her fist clenched in frustration but she focused on Helena, and exhaled, There's no time for frustration…
Her eyes looked up and were focused on her armor, "Time to suit up!" Without another word she drop through her shadows and and piece by piece her armor went into darkness. She emerged from Theonis' shadow, looked to Gidget, smirked and said, "Fits like a glove."
"I'll go get Freya and Liv. Gidget, have a meteor shard ready upon my return. Hopefully we'll have one more chance to talk Freya out of it." She dropped into her shadow and checked through a corner of Freya's room.
It looked like the healer was done and she was dressed, ready to go. "I'll take you to the meteor fragment…" her voice came from behind Freya, like a whisper over her shoulder. Trinity's hands came out and she pulled her in. She brought her out of a dark corner where Theonis and Gidget were.
"I'll be back with Liv." She dropped into her shadow again. She smiled as she continued going through the Shadow Realm. She was careful not to show how good it felt to have her power back with Freya, she didn't want to rub it in her face. Trinity emerged from Liv's shadow. "Sorry to interrupt the visit. Liv I need to talk to you. Could we step out for a moment?" As Liv excused herself and asked what it was about. She answered, "It's Heather, we need your help. If we go to Gidget's lab I can explain in further detail."
