The Count of Monte Carlo An old saying came to Ako's mind as he saw more cars join the chase and block the intersections ahead of them; you can outrun a car, but you can't outrun the radio. The only way they could get away would be to break line of sight, but the heavy Harley couldn't turn quick enough to lose the cars. If Ako tried to take a surprise turn, he'd risk colliding with one of the cars around and behind him as the bike slowed and turned. The only advantage he had was acceleration, but the traffic and radio made that useless. He knew he was being led, but he couldn't see anything he could do about it. With a sigh, he shifted gears and eased off the throttle, letting the bike cruise. He didn't slow down, but there was no point in over-revving the engine if there was nowhere to go. Turning his head a bit to speak over his shoulder, he asked; "Do you see any way out of this?"
Gidget cracked her eyes open and looked around. With the decrease in speed she was able to get a better sense of what was around them.
"There, " she pointed "Could we lose them in that parking garage?"

The Count of Monte Carlo Trusting her, Ako didn't hesitate to follow her suggestion. Trying to make the move quickly to throw off the pursuers, he jinked towards the garage entrance. In the seconds it took them to cross a lane and the gate of the garage, he began to question her idea. They could easily be trapped in the enclosed structure, as parking garages usually had just one opening for an entrance and exit. Al it would take is one or two of those SUVs to block them in. The bike would also be slow in the tight turns of the garage, and it would be easy for one of the sedans to out maneuver them. That didn't mean they had to stay on the bike once they got out of sight, however... "Please tell me you have more to this plan." He said, raising his voice a little more to be heard over the echoing thunder of the bike charging up the garage's incline.
"Pfft, of course I do."
She didn't.
"How often do you think I wing anything?"
More often than she ever let on.
"Besides, it looks like they're backing off." she asserted after looking over her shoulder. It was only then that she noticed a distinct lack of cars in this parking garage. As they made their ascent, the pavement beneath them was starting to become more and more wet. There hadn't been rain that day, and she could hear running water.
"Oh ffffff-" she muttered as the situation began to become more clear. She had her eyes closed, so she hadn't seen that they were being directed somewhere.
They nearly to the top of the structure when the ramp to the "roof" section was blocked off by what looked like a DJ Stand and large amplifiers. The set up was sitting above the puddles of water on tempered glass blocks. There was a light but steady bass rhythm beating from the amps.
"This...was not what I was expecting. But we should be careful. I'm pretty sure I just made a huge mistake."

PixelMuse Trinity nodded and walked along side him. "As far as a plan goes, here are a few ideas that come to mind. First off we need to get the civilians to safety we need to keep casualties to a minimum." "This does go for the dragon as well. She is a victim and I need to bring her home in one piece if possible. Perhaps figure out some way to sedate her, hopefully by doing that she will revert to her more human form." "Dusk is an ancient, brother to the one I host who is not a demon but an ancient as well. He was what Teshoumaru was hosting. I'm not sure but I may be your best bet on handling him." "He seems to think he can bring an army here. His target is your wife. I'd ensure that she's well protectected as well as possible strategic points where he may strike."
Adam scribbled furiously as Trinity spoke. Almost as soon as she was through, he had rolled the scroll up and tied it with a band. He whistled a quick tune and the band began to glow. The scroll hovered in midair for a moment before blinking out of sight.
"Just sent a message to my number two. And don't worry about tackling that dusk guy alone. We've taken steps to be able to defend against someone with the twins' powers. My daughter is actually a specialist in this matter."
Adam turned a corner and pushed open a large set of doors leading to what looked like a combination of a bedroom and an Olympic gymnasium. On the far end of the room was an obstacle course that had been arranged for high level parkour. Sitting at the bottom of it was a large, grey wolf hound that was watching it's master run the course for the fourth time that hour.
The master was a young lady with the dark skin and ears of her father, but the beauty and grace of her mother. She was wearing a full violet shozoku with weights on the ankles, wrists, and body. Upon closer inspection, it could be seen that she had a wrap underneath the mask that was concealing her left eye.
The hound looked over it's shoulder at the approaching people, stood up, and barked to alert it's master to their presence.
The woman skid to a halt before starting what was going to be a series of vertical bounds off of two walls that had been placed close together. She unbound her mask and cowl quickly before taking it off. Her Lynx like ears twitched as she rustled loose her layers of raven hair. She glared daggers at the strange woman that was walking beside her father.
"Rydia," Adam called out with a hint of caution to his tone, "don't be rude. Come and introduce yourself to our guest."
She rolled her eyes and started to undo her weights. Each one that dropped released a dust cloud upon contact with the ground, showing that they were much heavier than their small sized suggested.
Adam sighed and looked over to Trinity. "Don't mind her. She's as old as you are, but only about as mature as a human teenager. It's a thing half elves have to deal with. It doesn't help that my Bast blood makes her naturally aggressive."
Rydia hopped down and whispered to her wolf-dog companion, "Easthy Carak. I'll be fine." Her voice was gentle and airy, though the slightly feline teeth gave her a slight lisp.
Her emerald cat eye studied the "guest" as she approached. She took a deep breath and smiled pleasantly before conducting herself as a princess should.
"Hello. I am Rydia Fae'Rakka Crescthent." she said with a curtsy.
She then glanced up at her father and asked, "Do I really haf to do the restht of it?"
Adam chuckled and waved his hand. "I'll let it slide since your mom isn't here."
Rydia's smile brightened. She stood tall and said apologetically, "Sthorry for the efil eye. I hate being interrupted in the middle of my runsth."

Trinity observed how the message was sent. She nodded as he explained how it went to his 'number two'. She quirked an eyebrow as he pointed out that his daughter is a specialist in the matter, Really? A specialist on the ancients? She may be better equipped to answer questions I have about Shade.
When they arrived at the gym, Trinity's eyes lightened a little, she couldn't help it working out was something she'd do in her down time. She watched the young woman going through the course, she was half tempted to try herself at some point. She frowned a little as the woman gave her dagger eyes but she did not look away.
Then Adam disciplined her not to be rude. Then the weights on her wrists and ankles came off. She couldn't help but remember similar training methods with Freya and Teshomaru. In fact whenever she goes on a run these days she still would put on the weights, always trying to push herself some way. It looked like she does the same. Trinity nodded as Adam tried explaining her behavior. She looked to her as she approached them.

Trinity nodded, "Apology accepted Rydia, I quite understand. I've got my own set of routines and it just ruins the momentum having to stop in the middle of it all."
"Trinity Smith, at your service." she bowed briefly.

Nova Blancke Eyes? Some kind of ocular based power? Can she see my past with it?
"I was.....a jealous little girl. You're the second to say I got Luna or Luma's Blessing." Liv replied to the comment about how that power was not originally hers. But that was all she said on the matter.
"Betrayal and loyalty.....loyalty to what? I'm loyal to myself." Liv crossed her legs."It's not even the only duality I have."
She took a deep breathe."I currently live at Valhalla. Dusk, Teshoumaru's ancient has been driving me mad over the last month. How I needed Silhouette to stop myself from rotting. Needless to say it was a rough month. But I have friends there and he kidnapped one of them. This is also just one big chance to get back at him. Like I said. In the end...I'm doing it for me." The Queen couldn't help but chuckle a bit. She covered her hand with her mouth and cleared her throat.
"I'm sorry. It's just that Freya said the same thing almost fifty years ago. It's like watching a home movie."
"Your friends are who you are loyal to. Despite...prior agreements, you wouldn't do anything to harm them. At least, not unless provoked." She said with a hint of knowing.
She placed both of her hands on the table leaned forward slightly, staring directly into Liv's eyes.
"But, I do believe it is time we drop our respective charades. Please, watch my pupils for a moment. Don't worry, they've already done all they can."
Her pupils quivered again, but this time it was slow enough for Liv to watch carefully. Kaelonni's pupils began to widen and compress in the center. They took the shape of a sideways 8, a lemniscate, the infinity sign.
"This is a trait passed down generations of my bloodline. Eleilya, my namesake, the eye that beholds. You would probably know it best by the colloquial term "All Seeing Eye."
Her eyes returned to normal and she leaned back again.
"Every spectrum of light, powers, lies, truths, pasts, and even possible futures. These are but a few things my eyes can discern. They gazed into the coming conflict years ago, though not the one involving your Dragon friend."
"Liv, your jealousy has put you into a position that wasn't meant to be yours. You are now the bearer of a great burden meant for your sister."
"Fratricide is a grave offense, as is being under the employ of your friend's enemy. But there is still some good within you that can turn the tide of the coming war. It is for that reason that I offer my guidance, should you accept it."
