Gidget cupped her hands around her mouth and repeated, "Toss! So we don't die, I want to throw you over the DJ!"

The DJ kept his eyes peeled and his mind on the beat. The headset he was wearing didn't allow him to hear what Gidget and Ako were talking about. He was focused on the rhythm so he could drop the bass again when they peeked out.

Liv saw through the eyes of Coia, or rather Anima, who was assembled with last remnants of his race, the Primantiqua. Among him were Mors, Ignis, Nymphe, Tellus, Aether, Lumen, and Umbra in a room deep underground that was under assault.

"Ita et nos unum sunt ? Et spem nos nostrosque recta iter impedituros Decaelum in mundo sumus ."

A flash and Liv can see a glimpse of the creatures called the Decaelum. There are many of them, most of which block sunlight for miles at a time. On the far horizon of what looked like a once great city was a particular Decaelum that was a massive and shapeless mass of flesh, eyes, teeth and tentacles that was producing smaller ground troops of a similar nightmarish appearance.

Anima looked up at what little of their wonderful sky hadn't been blocked by the Prime Decaelum. He had locked hands with Mors and Umbra, who in turn had each locked hands with the other five Primantigua. In the center of the circle were their children, huddled and frightened of not only the horrors above them, but of what they knew was about to happen. They were Vivi, Soul, Eutha, Crosis, Pyre, Flint, Lymph, Rheum, Terra, Vale, Aura, Chinook, Silhouette, Eclipse, Aurora, and Lucent.

Anima spoke one last time, particularly to his son and daughter (Soul and Vivi). The son looked like a human boy, while the daughter looked like an Elfin girl.

"Tempor tu oblivisceris , et istud est pax . Festina haec figura dicitur saeculum terrore erimus in rem finietur."

There is another flash and Liv saw through the eyes of Vivi. The children found themselves alone on a strange world that felt familiar all the same. That is because the world is their parents parting gift to them. Aurora and Lucent hold each other and look up to the sky and atmosphere that was their father, while Silhouette fell to her knees and touched the shadow beneath her and cried.

Eclipse thought he heard something and looked up. Vivi saw this and looked where he was. There appeared to be what Liv would recognize as a shooting star in the sky. Vivi looked to Eclipse again and saw a strange smile that made her skin crawl on his face.

One more flash and the sixteen children appear more like young adults. They are watching a meteor shower.

Crosis was the first, and last, to speak in this memory.

"They found a way past Umbra and Lumen's realms. So it begins again. The time has come for us to raze the source and allow the Hicce to grasp their birthright."

Liv gasped for breath and leaned on the table to support herself. While panting heavily she took the time to catch her breath.

"That....that was....not what I expected...." Liv said and sat down.

"Mors, Ignis, Nymphe, Tellus, Aether, Lumen, and Umbra.....Coia is Anima. I saw...them. An ancient world overrun by...Decaelum. Gigantic creatures that blocked out the sun for miles. There was one bigger than the rest....it spawned monsters and more troops. Just...like Legion did." Liv carefully tried to explain while piecing it together.

"They stood in a circle with their children in the middle. Vivi, Soul, Eutha, Crosis, Pyre, Flint, Lymph, Rheum, Terra, Vale, Aura, Chinook, Silhouette, Eclipse, Aurora, and Lucent...." Liv rubbed her temples" There was a flash and they were in a different world. Like....they had overwritten the world...using themselves so their children could survive. Silhouette cried, Lucent and Aurora looked at the sky....there was a meteor shower. Eclipse's smile gave me chills. Or...rather the person who saw it. Crosis spoke.
'They found a way past Umbra and Lumen's realms. So it begins again. The time has come for us to raze the source and allow the Hicce to grasp their birthright." Liv finished.

"There's....so much to take in."

Kerana looked up Alexavier and started rushing toward his apartment within the facility. She remember the man's name was like Alec's but different. "C'mon Deora! We've gotta make sure Trinity gets this message!"

The Queen took a small bauble attached to a chain around her neck and held it tightly. It was the ki she had been storing, and she was in the process of recovering some of her lost energy.

"I too...saw the creatures. I can't say for sure, but I'm almost certain that they are the origin of the meteors. Crosis...I recognize that name as the aspect of death's balance. The word he used...Hicce. In context, he could be referring to our ancestors."

She paused for a moment as she considered what she had heard with things she had seen before. After a few seconds she could only shake her head.

"There are still questions left to be answered, and not enough time to look into it now. I can feel my brother's presence. He is moments away from here. You should go and join your companions. Find my daughter, and when this is over the two of you can complete the memory of the ancients."

"Yeah, could be. We'll see." Liv replied.

"What about you? Will you be alright?" She asked. There really wasn't a lot of time if she said it but she felt sort of responsible for the state of the Queen.

The Queen gave Liv a kind smile.

"Your concern, while valid, is unnecessary. It will take but a moment for me to absorb this crystal and be able to fight."

"Now go, and may your ancestors watch over you."

Rydia looked at Trinity like she had grown a set of antennae.

"Meditation? Stheriousthly? Do you think I put all thisth crap on becausthe it'sth comfortable? Dusthk isth going to be here in, like, ten minutesth."

"Do we have visual?" she waited for her answer.

"I know, I'm normally am with you but you said it yourself, Shade could grant me power beyond what I can fathom. Unless you think we can take on Dusk as we are, then by all means rush in. I need to reach out to her, there's something she had said I needed to do and I didn't do it then because I thought I couldn't trust her."

"I know meditation would be the last thing on our minds when preparing for battle but this is something I have to do in order to ensure to put our best foot forward."

Then it occurred to her she had her power. She could go deep into the Shadow Realm and save some time for time in the in this world would slow to a crawl to her. How could she forget that? A month without her power could have had that much of an effect on her. "Hold that thought..." she dropped into her shadow. The world above slowed to a mere crawl the deeper she went into the shadow realm.

When she found a good place where seconds up there were like hours in the darkness. "This should do it..." With that she meditated, she was inside her mind with her ancestor and Shade.

Alright Shade... I'm ready... just tell me what I need to do.

((ooc: let me know if I need to adjust anything))

"No visual, justht what I wasth told in the letter I got. Dad'sth people assthessthed the location of Dusthk and made a plan basthed on the information you gafe him. Then they sthent me my diretiv."

"My powers are honed to counteract metahuman abilitiesth. Essthpecially shadow and light. All you haf to do isth...hey?!" she exclaimed once Trinity dove into the shadow realm.

Shade offered her hands to Trinity, palms up. "Trust in your power. Know that though it is a gift bestowed initially by me, and carried on by your bloodline, that you have reached this point through your own strength and perseverance."

"Trust that what you do now is not turn yourself over to me, but that we will stand together and combine our strength. I will rely on you as you shall rely on me."

"Stand strong in the coming trials, and stay true to your greatest desire: the need to protect."

"Focus, take my hands, and speak aloud my true name. That will complete our synthesis. I shall remain with you as your shadow from then on. When you wish to combine our power in combat, call out my name once more."

"Until that time comes...I would like it very much if you called me 'Sill.'"
the ancient requested with a light hue of embarrassment coloring her cheeks.

"You too." Liv replied before walking away in a fast pace. But ofcourse she had no idea where to go. She quickly asked for directions from a guard. It helped greatly that she was just with the Queen. No normal outsider could do that right?
She thanked the guard and quickly found her way to Rydia. What she found...was not expected. Yes, she had her fathers skin and her mothers look but...her outfit needed work. That was one of the first things she would work on when they get back. She just hoped that pet of hers wouldn't maul her on sight.

"I assume you're Rydia? Name's Liv Crystalion. Your mother sent me. He is getting close so we should get ready for his arrival." Liv looked down into her shadow. She felt Trinity in there. Good thing she hasn't given up on that power yet.

"What the hell is she doing in there when we are about to be under attack?"

Rydia's ears perked with interest when she heard Liv entered. Carak growled momentarily, but she quickly calmed him with a touch of her hand.

"I think she'sth communing with Shade. From what I understhtand, time movesth sthlower in the shadow realm."

Rydia looked Liv over once more, and in her usual blunt nature she said the first thing that came to her head.

"I haf to asthk. Do you by any chancthe sthwing both waysth? 'Cuz it'd be a shame if only men had a shot at you."

Liv raised her eyebrow at her lisp. She too had her own blunt way of doing things. Thought that was just with expressions.

"Yeah so I've heard." She responded. Her comment was very straightforward. But Liv had to admit she liked that. No beating around the bush.

Resting a hand on her hip she shifted her weight.

"I've heard you do to. Everybody has a shot at me. Not everyone hits though. Why limit yourself to half the population right? "

Meanwhile Theonis could barely contain his curiosity anymore. He had to do something! Trinity was away, Gidget...most likely with Ako. But this letter was dressed to her. Not him. But it was about a project they've been working on for years. He was the current head so he should be up to date about that right? Choices choices....
PostPosted: Thu Jan 15, 2015 3:19 pm
Rydia pulled her mask down around her neck to reveal the reason for her lisp. Her mostly humanoid, but partially feline teeth, sparkled as she smirked at Liv's comment. Her one exposed eye gave Liv quite the look.

"Ooooh, I know exactly what you mean. Oncthe we kill Dusthk, we should hang out after the feastht." she suggested.

Rydia had been this way since she was old enough to learn the birds and the bees. Her father's race, the Bast, were known to be a very passionate and open people with few boundaries. Adam was an exception. Rydia was a perfect example.

Rydia's guard detail wasn't to protect her, it was to protect everyone else she may have her eye on. No one would look after her after what happened with her last guards. Adam felt he had no choice but to confine her to the citadel unless accompanied by himself or her mother. This led to her taking more interest in parkour and exercise. How else was she supposed to work off her excess energy?

Unfortunately for Liv, Rydia had a thing for blondes with curves. She winked at Liv before pulling her mask back over her mouth and nose.

If Liv had been looking at Carak during that time, she may have actually seen the dog roll his eyes.

Ahh so that's why she has that lisp. Liv totally agreed they should hang out. But she knew it wouldn't go the way Rydia had in mind.

"Totally." Liv replied with a wink of her own and the subtle lipbite. She bet that this kitty was just as flexible.as you'd think.

"First things first. Get rid of Dusk and get Heather back. That's the dragon btw. She's normally a sweet girl who...does not swing both ways. Just the right way for us though."

PostPosted: Thu Jan 15, 2015 3:51 pm
Rydia's eye showed a look of great satisfaction as she uttered a single word in regards to Heather being a possible candidate for something she's always wanted to partake in.

"Awesthome."

Yep, she was crazy. Even though she'd lifted the bike with one arm only moments ago, He still couldn't see her summoning the strength to throw him. Even with a bionic arm, her figure was that of a slim woman shorter than he was. Still, if she could pull it off, getting close to the DJ would be a great way to take him out.

It seemed like an insane plan, but as he thought it out, he could sense the DJ's booth. He couldn't see it as clearly as he could most other electronics, but he could feel a major amount of power within it. There was something else, as well; that certain feeling of apprehension in the air, the feeling just before a lightning bolt. The DJ was ready for another attack. If he was going to cross the aisle to Gidget, they had to be quick. He looked to her again with a deep breath, and nodded.
