More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

The light dissipated and the two sisters were standing in the center of a large dirt circle that had been made by the light dome.

The Zombie spat and cursed as Liv held her.

"Let go of me you little b***h! Murderer! I'll kill you!"

She kicked and thrashed. She even tried to bite Liv. She was like a rabid animal.

There was a high pitched mewling sound coming from somewhere inside of the Zombie's chest.

Liv held on desperately as her sister thrashed around. With each curse her sister spat at her, the deeper it seemed to cut her. She held on tight as she cried.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, " Liv repeated as she weeped like a mantra. She grit her teeth as she made the heart wrenching decision to kill her sister once more. The crying girl had hoped her field would cut the connection of whatever was keeping her alive but it wasn't. It would have been the easier way. Less painful....far less painful. Liv steeled herself for what she was about to do.

"DAWN!!!" Liv cried out as her sisters name as her glowing hand pierced her sisters chest like a blade. Piercing her heart. The bright white light that was emitted from her hand was truly blinding. It would scorch the insides of her sister.

The zombie shrieked in rage and pain, but it was not nearly as loud as the thing that was screaming from inside of her.

Liv's had pierced a giant scarab that had embedded itself in her sister's body in place of her heart. It squealed and thrashed for a bit before melting out of the zombie's back and hitting the ground.

A few more twitches and it burst into flame.

The zombie stopped thrashing. She lay very still for a moment before raising her hand and bringing it gently to Liv's face.

Dawn looked down and whispered to her sister, "Olivia? Liv?"

Liv's loud cries became silent as she held her sister. Now she could finally rest. But it would take a long time before Liv could forget all the things she said. No, she most likely wouldn't be able to forget. Inside of her the sadness slowly became rage. Pure hatred for one person and one person only....Dusk.

Liv was about to cremate what was left of her sister to make sure this never ever happened again before the unthinkable happened. It stopped her dead in her tracks. She still....lived? No, the zombie wasn't gone yet?

She looked at her sister with her tear streamed face.

"Dawn? Is....is it really you?" Liv softly asked. The tears began to flow again when she heard her sister. It sounded just like her.

Dawn shivered as though she were freezing. Tears welled in her dead eyes.

"You've grown up." she muttered with a sad smile.

She winced as the blood flow began to slow down.

"I...don't have much time. When we fought, that thing was amplifying the anger I felt when I died. I...I could see your hurt. I...can see you hurt. I'm sorry. P-please...I-ah- I need you to know...we're okay. I forgive you. I know you d-d-didn't mean it."

She hugged Liv tightly, her body's trembling began to cease along with her halting blood flow.

"Aahhh. S-s-so c-c-oooold. L-livv. Huh...h-h-hold m-me. P-please d-d-don't lehet go." she pleaded.

As Grim spoke she quirked her eyebrow You? Do I know this guy? she wondered briefly. Normally she would get this from Daedalus due to her reputation. This time, the way he said it made it seem like he remembered her from a long time ago and he was out for revenge for whatever she did to have upset him.

The teeth started flying and then the bullets. She brought up a sheild made from her shadow which had the bullets going through a hole. Then Grim laughed which shook her ancestor which in turn disrupt her concentration. A bullet from the girl with the tank rifle skimmed her side in the process "ARRRGH!!!" Covering her head as her ancestor reacted to the sound of that laughter.

how? HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN?! I defeated them years ago.

She needed to drop into her shadow to get a hold of things.

Is that who I think he is? Please, calm down... I need you to calm down.

I don't understand... I was the light that broke through the darkness... I fulfilled the prophecy so that he wouldn't return...

Sill any ideas? I have not seen her shaken up like this...

The ancient had seen the first Trinity this shaken up before. Silhouette had a theory.

She took hold of present day Trinity's shoulders and looked directly into her eyes to speak to the first Trinity.

"Listen to me. It is him, but it isn't. Dusk must have done something to preserve that monster's essence so that he could recall him at a later time. It's essentially a copy. An incredibly dangerous and insane copy. You must get a hold of yourself. We will face him together. We will defeat him together."

In the real world, Grim snarled at Trinity's retreat. He turned his head around and shouted at Theresa.

"Well? Have you gotten any yet?" he demanded.

Theresa huffed and looked around her. She dragged the large weapon on the ground as she approached what she hoped was a mithril weapon.

She bent over and picked up a sword. She smiled and concentrated on the metal the blade was forged from. The sword bent, melted, and absorbed into her flesh.

Her right arm reconfigured itself again. This time into something slightly more compact but with what looked like a mini-gun barrel. Something under her mask shifted as well as her face became one with it and converted it into a re-breather.

She reached into her duster and pulled out what looked like a vial of black blood. She carefully dropped a single drop of the vial's contents into her own shadow and sank into the shadow realm.

She immediately spotted Silhouette and Trinity. "Gotcha." she whispered.

She leveled the weapon at the two of them and opened fire.

Silhouette had heard the whisper and turned just in time to see the woman level the weapon at them.

"Seek cover!" she shouted.

She grasped Trinity tightly and leaped with her behind the shadow realm version of a broken wall. She was glad to see Trinity had decided to unite with her earlier. Here in the shadow realm, Sill was free to move around free of Trinity's influence.

She ducked her head as the wall was chipped away by the hail of gunfire.

"Damnit." she cursed. "Dusk must have given her some of his blood."

Trinity swore under her breath. Usually the Shadow Realm was great for retreating. "Okay, so she's here... but this place is toxic for her isn't it? I think I can do some real damage if I can get close to her."

Sill cocked an eyebrow at Trinity and pointed at herself.

"What did I just get done saying? We're doing this together. So long as you're on this side of the shadow I can move about freely. All we have to do is wait for her skin to start peeling off and she'll leave." she assured.

She bit her lip as she reminded her that they were doing this together and more so when Sill said to sit and wait. Sit and wait? Is that really the best thing? "This may be weird, but I'm not sure if her skin is normal… I did see her arm shift from one gun to another. She may not even be human or meta-human for that matter."

Theresa halted fire for a moment when she realized her exposed flesh was beginning to sizzle. With an annoyed sigh she transformed the rest of her flesh into the same metal her weapon was made of.

Satisfied that her skin was safe, she resumed firing. She hoped to chip away at their cover soon, or at the very least force them to head back to the surface and face off with Grim again.

Sill peeked around the corner during the lull in gunfire and frowned.

"Well...that's something I would have never anticipated. Surely she has to run out of ammunition at some poiACK!"

She quickly got back behind their cover when the rounds began sailing again. A chunk of the girl's ammo broke off against the wall and had hit nicked Sill in the shoulder.

The wound smoked and burned. Sill grit her teeth and hissed, "Ow. She must be firing mithril."

"This is bad. She can break through our powers with her gunfire. Looks like we're going with your plan."

She paused for a moment before asking, "So...how do we get close to her?"

"Thank you....thank you...." Liv could only whisper in ragged breaths,

A huge weight felt lifted from her shoulders. There were no words to describe how important this was for her. She wanted to be happy about it. But now...her sister was dying in her arms again. Just as they managed to talk she was slipping away again. All of this....only to lose her again. It felt as if an ice cold hand squeezed her heart and wouldn't let go. It hurt so much.

"No no no no, stay with me Dawn.....I can't lose you again! No please, stay with me! I won't let you go." But she knew it wouldn't last. She felt so helpless. There had to be something she could do! The only thing that came to mind was help her....be comfortable. Liv kissed Dawn's forhead as she held her tight. Her light began to envelop Dawn. A warm soothing light. It was all she could do.

" I love you sis. I'm..sorry...for all of this..." The younger sister cried.
