More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Liv made an audible sigh. Go figure.

"Right...why did I expect anything less than more crap from him? I'll let you know when it's safe." With that she blinked away. She wondered if Freya and the rest knew the Beastmaster was no more.

Finding Dusk...or rather Eclipse..shouldn't be hard. Just follow the trail of bodies.

Among the chaos of battle throughout the city there was, in fact, a trail of bodies. They were leading toward the citadel.

At the ground entrance, Adam was huddled behind a pillar while what was left of his special forces were huddled behind the other pillars. They were barely holding off the Daedalus forces. Adam occasionally peeked his head out to take a few shots, but he was also busy keeping pressure on a stomach wound.

Rydia was fighting alongside ground troops. They were doing their best to halt the tide of undead that threatened to breach the walls keeping them within the shop district.

Dusk was no where to be seen outdoors.

Theresa swept her weapon in the direction of Sill. She saw something moving from the corner of her eye, but the weapon slowed down her reaction.

She was launched forward by the kick to her back. Despite her skin being made of metal, she was incredibly agile due to her small frame. She turned in mid-air and landed facing Trinity. She was about to level her weapon again when she was assaulted by blades and a kick to her chin.

She took the blade slashes, sparks coming off of her skin, but she ducked the kick. Her right arm reconfigured itself again into something resembling a chainsaw and swung it while jumping in a wide diagonal arc. While in the air she used the momentum of the saw to put additional force behind a spinning reverse hook kick with her left foot.

Alexavier opened before she knocked. It was something he did for fun. Not many people came to him though. Odd.

"Ah, the fox girl and.....Deora? You want me to tell you your answer or have you ask it first?"

Liv followed the trail and found where they led to. The Daedelus forced were really laying on the heat at a specific point. She figured someone was there. Her newly squired power told her Adam was there. She could sense all animal or beast-like beings around. Liv closed in on the forces of Daedelus and she became death. Light had extended from both her arms, creating something akin to lightsabers. Blades of light that cut through anything. Her first victim couldn't even alarm the rest. By the time they noticed her a few had already fallen. She blinked in and between the soldiers lines, cutting up who ever was nearby. She'd be lying if she said no blood on got her. Because a lot of it did. But she didn't seem phased at it. At the moment...all she wanted to do was kill the sick b*****d who used her sister against her. And anyone with him that was unfortunate enough to get clse.

Adam grunted and reloaded his weapons. He turned to shoot again only to see some crazy red light slicing up Daedalus troops. His artificial right eye unfocused and returned to normal as he leaned back against the rock and lit up a cigarette.

With another grunt (this one less of pain and more from old age) he hoisted himself up and shuffled whole his troops picked off the last of the troops that were targeting Liv.

"I never thought I'd be this happy to see a pissed off woman." he joked aloud with a smirk.

Sill was fast enough to keep popping around and keeping the shooter distracted. When she saw that Trinity had forced the shooter to switch to melee tactics, Sill took the opportunity to produce a smoking black blade from her flared out sleeve. She soon joined Trinity in the melee assault.

Chainsaw?! Yikes! she jumped back barely dodging the thing. She dropped her blades and ready herself to block her kick. She caught it but the kick kept going. Her grip couldn't hold. She was heading toward a partial wall. Looking ahead then manipulated her body so that she pushed back with her feet.

She landed on her hands then kicked with both feet toward her chest. When her feet touched the ground she happened to be near her blades. She picked them up then slashed one after the other diagonal upward. Then followed that with a kick with her left foot to her side.

Theresa audibly grunted in frustration. Her skin was only made of iron. She hadn't absorbed enough mithril, save to make weapons and ammo. She knew she wouldn't be able to infinitely deflect their weapons without resorting to more extreme measures. In this shadow realm, that wasn't a wise idea.

She crossed her arms in front of her and position herself to take the blows from the front as best as she could. Parts of her body began to chip away from the onslaught.

As she took the attacks her arms and legs reconfigured themselves again. This time her hands had become large "Freddy Krueger" gauntlets with hinges to keep her able to manipulate the blades like fingers. Her feet had taken a similar shape but lack opposable blades and numbered only four.

"HAAH!" she cried out while spinning. She lashed out with her hands and feet in a sort of blade dance. She followed up with a spinning handstand before using her arms to vault back from Sill and Trinity. She took an offensive stance, standing on one foot while twitching her "fingers" and "toes."

Sill had raised her arm and deftly blocked the flurry of steel blades. Her sleeves and dress had several slices removed from them in the process but she was intact.

She stared in disbelief at the woman as she attacked like a break dancer and took a stance that looked like crane-style kung fu.

"You've got to be kidding me. What's her deal?" she asked.

Her query was short lived as her dress billowed forward with the force of something running past her very fast.

Freya slid in with a sliding uppercut to the metal woman's stomach, taking advantage of the opening that would be available to someone as fast as she was.

Her body glowed with a golden aura as her left fist produced a blast that sounded like a shotgun. She followed up with a right straight, this time with the blast more open to attack a wider target.

Theresa took the full force of the uppercut. Her breath was pushed out of her as she was lifted in the air. Her back exploded in a flurry of cloth and metal

She took the force of the straight with her face and was sent flying backwards though a shadow of a building's dark side.

She emerged in the real world, skipping across the soil like a stone. Her travel ended when she had dug herself a small trench in the ground with her upper back.

Her body returned to flesh and bone. The mask cracked and fell off. Her face was already starting to swell at the impact point as she struggled to get her diaphragm in working order so she could breath again.

She tried to move, but she barely had enough strength to stay breathing and conscious. She had failed. Failure meant death at the hands of Dusk.

She lay in the mound of dirt silently as she considered what few options she had.

"And stay out! This is my house!" Freya yelled.

She turned to Sill and Trinity, her body still aglow with the golden aura. The ninja folded her hands and fingers into the sign for ZEN before taking a deep breath. The glow faded away and they once again stood in the darkness of the shadow realm.

She looked over at Sill, then to Trinity to ask, "Who the Hell is she?"

"You should never be happy to see an angry woman." Liv replied. " Where's the Queen? Dusk is nowhere to be found. You are here, he ain't. Rydia is out there, he ain't. I think he is after he eyes. She told me about them." She said as she tried to wipe off some blood.

She looked over at Sill, then to Trinity to ask, "Who the Hell is she?"

When she landed her hits she found that it seemed to give a little. That things were a little more malleable than before. Then the claws came out, she dodged as much as she could but did get nicked a couple of times she flinched a couple of times. She had a gotten a good scratch mark on her shoulder.

Then Freya showed up and thank goodness. She wondered if this was her new meta power but that was disproved as she did the ninja signs. Since she was kicked out of the Shadow Realm, Trinity did her own sign to adjust her ki for healing.

"I don't know. She came here with Dusk and she was with this guy who reminded my ancestor of the Necromancer she fought. He was the one summoning the zombies."

She wondered briefly to herself, Is her body still accustomed to the Shadow Realm? Well her skin doesn't appear to be melting at the moment...

Freya looked at Trinity a bit confused before shaking her head.

"No no no, not the metal chick, I'm talking about her." she said while pointing at Sill

The ancient dropped her shoulders and said, "Seriously? I'm standing right here. I could just tell you."

Adam took another drag of his smoke and winced.

"If he's not out here, then he must've gotten through the entrance when we were still in the shadows under the control of that beastmaster."

It was then that the blood that had been collecting in his garments pooled too much and began to drip onto the ground beneath him.

He looked down and sighed, "I can't believe I got shot by a grunt."

He then looked up at Liv and smirked. "I'm not gonna be much good from here on. Once Rydia takes care of the zombies I'll send her to back you up."

Trinity quirked an eyebrow as she clarified her question. "You mean you don't recognize her?" As Freya shook her head once more. "She's Sillouette, the ancient that you and I have been hosting. I finally decided to complete the sythesis... and it looks as though by doing that returned her to her original state, sort of speak."

She looked up, "That Necromancer or whatever is still up there. We need to get back up there and finish him."
