Courtyard (North)

[Krazy Kaori]

Kaori and Kai exchanged glances as they each recieved their replies. Kaori scooted closer to him and whispered so the others couldn't hear. Well, at least Lighttt and Misa couldn't. "What do you think is wrong with them?" she asked quietly.

Kai shook his head as he glanced back towards Misa. He frowned as he saw she was already recovered and now playing with various animals tha thad seemingly come out of nowhere. "I don't know, but they are strange, aren't they?" He scowled and ran a hand through his hair. "Did you hear her? She said that wherever she went, she saw me there and I was dying." Kai shook his head in disbelief. "And then she wouldn't elaborate!"

Kaori growled under her breath as she scooted a bit closer to her brother. "Do you think they're... insane? I mean, what's with all this talk of a prophecy?" She glanced towards the girl [Meghan] who had approached almost without meaning to and simply because she too had mentioned some sort of prophecy. "Is there some strange joke going around that we're not in on?"

Kai laughed softly at the idea but couldn't say he thought the two completely sane. "I don't know," he replied softly. "I guess we'll just wait and see."

William pushed his motorcycle afther into the cort yard. It bumbed up and down over the grass and dirt. It felt good to walk for once after riding for 16 hours. 'Mabe some one here will tell him were he needs to go to sign up for classes.

Neither of them flinched as Lighttt and Misa talked and seemingly went insane.
Sai was standing behind Meghan as he crouched, changing into human before standing up, at least a head taller than her. "There is no joke," he said softly, looking at the two, resting his arms on Meghan's head as he leaned against her. "For us, we just simply come across things; for them, we don't know," he smiled.

An imaginary vein pulsed as Sai leaned on her. She clenched her fist before smiling. "Well, it would seem they were going insane, wouldn't it?" she said so only Kai, Kaori and Sai could hear, "but, I mean, a lot of people seem that way and are just... say what's on their mind without anyone else knowing what the hell they're talking about, right?"

Kai watched the girl silently through narrow and focused eyes. Then they widened just slightly as the man seemingly appeared from nowhere. I knew someone was there! he thought triumphantly as he stood as well. "How are you sure it's not a joke?" Kai asked slowly.

Kaori nodded faintly at the girl's words next. "I suppose so..." she murmured as she pulled Kei into her arms, stroking the dragon's head gently. "Those two just seem especially odd..."

"Not to seem rude, but aren't we all? Or, do you mean weirder than the rest of us would seem?" she smiled.

Sai turned to Kai. [[o.O]] "Because... we've come across many things similar... things from the past... and it seems to repeat itself sometimes..." he said, narrowing his eyes slightly at Kai.

Kai snorted as he met Sai's gaze. [xD;;] "And this is one of those repeated times then?" he growled. He didn't like this male, but mainly because he'd appeared out of nowhere. This place was too strange for him.. Back home everyone either controlled ice, flame, or neither. Now here people seemed to do whatever they wanted! Kai growled again, not taking his eyes off Sai.

Kaori frowned slightly but nodded despite this at the girl's words. "I... guess so." She murmured and then added more quietly. "But these two are, in fact, stranger than anyone I've ever met before."

She laughed. "No worries, same here," she whispered, winking to Kaori. She smiled sweetly. "Oh, I forgot to introduce myself," she laughed slightly, tapping her head for forgetting. "My name is Ayoma Meghan," she bowed politely.

"I too have forgoten," he sighed, "I'm Nazu Sai," he bowed as well. "Is there something wrong?" he asked Kai, glaring at him.

Kaori returned the girl's smile faintly. "Ah, I'm Kaori Parker..." she murmured, watching, puzzled, as the girl bowed. "N-nice to meet you." What was she doing that for? Where she was from, people only bowed to respected elders or leaders, certainly not to a orphaned girl who lived on the street.

Kai frowned towards Sai again and then nodded shortly. "I'm Kai." The faint signs of a laugh shone in his eyes as he noted the similarity of their name.

Meghan tilted her head, seeing she was confused. "Is...something wrong? Did i do something to upset you?" she asked, thinking she ofended Kaori. "Please don't be offended, Parker-san..."

"Heh... So, we both hate each other, for an unknown reason,," he started, saying the last part quietly and to himself, "but our names have something in common. How strange," he laughed, continuing to glare at Kai.

Kai shifted slightly as he shoved his hands in his pockets. "I wouldn't say hate exactly..." he began, watching Sai carefully. "I'm just a little confused about how you seemed to appear out of nowhere a moment ago."

Kaori blinked again at the girl's words. "Ah, no! It's just... odd that someone would bow to me..." Her eyes slightly widened as the girl said her name. "A-and just call me Kaori, please" she murmured awkwardly. She turned her eyes towards Sai, wondering how he could laugh but glare at the same time.

[Hehe, yep. x3]

[[he's special and can? i never thought about that. O well... guess i messed that up.]]

Meghan looked up at her, smiling. "So I didn't do anything!!" she cheered, laughing. "Oh, and, it's because I follow japanese customs...." she trailed off, still smiling.

"oh, well," he smirked, running a hand through his hair. "I guess you'll have to find that out by yourself."
"Sai," Meghan warned, putting her hand on her hips as she turned to look at him. "There's no big secret. It's just that he's-" she started, but Sai quickly dove to cover her mouth.
"You don't have to answer everything that they don't need to know," he said, before slipping and making them both topple.

Kaori bowed her head slightly, looking to the floor. "Ah, ok..." she murmured quietly. "That's not how things were done around me back home so... It just confused me for a moment, I guess..." She looked up again, offering another small smile. "But it's alright."

Kai glanced towards Kaori at her words and once again felt a pang of guilt for not being there to help. Then he looked back towards Sai as the male replied. He was about to snap back a reply, when the girl replied for him, but Kai scowled again as Sai cut her off. "He's just what?" he began, stopping as he saw the two fall to the ground. He took a wary step back and exchanged glances with Kaori, who looked equally confused.

[The Verse]

Consistantly_Inconsistant

Deirdra walked out of the library, leading Shien behind her while she held onto his hand with her small one. Her hair blew behind her as she walked. She turned back occasionally to look back at him and just smile. It felt actually pretty good outside at the moment; she was content with it.

She walked over towards the large tree near the middle of the Courtyard. She leaned on it and sat down at its base, getting herself comftorable. The grass was nice and fresh and she looked up at Shien and smiled. She patted on down on a patch of grass beside her, motioning for him to sit down next to her. Deirdra smoothed out her sleek black dress that was rather fitting. It was something a little different, but yet it was around how her usual style was.

She rested her head up on the tree as she sat there and scrunched up her knees adn put her arms around them. Her eyes closed for a moment, letting them rest for a few moments. Deirdra let out a soft sigh and smiled a little, enjoying the fresh environment with the old feeling that has welcomed itself back with Shien.

Shien smiled as he followed behind Deirdra, sort of dazedly at times and others -very- dazily. He couldn't believe it. -Deirdra-. The name made his head swim still, even after all this time. He knew he still loved her, no matter how many times he'd tried to forget her. They mere thought of that now, forgetting her, made his stomach lurch and roll. Now that they were here again, Shien just felt like..well..clicking his heels and jumping into the air, dancing about madly and all that sort of thing. Which would have looked -hilarious- in the courtyard of course. He shook his head as they neared the tree. Ah, the tree. He remembered it fondly as well. He always associated Deirdra with this place because this was where he'd met her. Quite a lovely memory that was for him. He shook his head once more and watched as Deirdra sat down against the tree, his eyes on hers. He was just entrapped in her beauty once more, a feeling one might attribute to a hypnotic disk. Once you looked at it, you didn't want to look away because you didn't think it would affect you, and once it did, the thought of looking away was all but impossible to consider. He smiled at her once more.

He walked over and sat down next to her, smiling softly at her and putting his hands on his knees, which were pushed out infront of him. He leaned against her slightly, smiling as he said "You know, I still think those horns make you look cute." and grinned. Well, it was true. She looked good regardless, but those horns just added the extra touch of 'cute' for him. Of course, she was very good lookign regardless..Tough with that peaceful look on her face right now, she was beautiful. Shien smirked softly and smiled at her, then leaned in and gently, very gently, kissed her, before leaning back against her and the tree.  

[[.Ebony_Dragon.]]

She walked through the courtyard with Orik flying above her. His shadow cast a rather eerie look upon her. Making her dark brown hair look black and her eyes the same. She stopped at the fountain and sat on a ledge. Orik glided down and landed in a larger open area.It's rather windy to day Argetlam.... said Orik looking at her with his large yellow eyes. "I agree entirely." She said pushing her windblown hair back behind her ears.

Sai laughed as he rolled off of Meghan and helped her sit up; he tried to make her stand, but she didn't want to get up.

"Sai, you're so stubborn," she sighed, swaying back and forth and the crass, her legs hugged to her chest. "As I was saying," she said, glancing at Sai, who just store back, "He's a spirit," she said bluntly, pointing at him.
"I'm the stubborn one?" he said under his breath, crossing his arms and looking to his right, away from Meghan.
