Courtyard (South)

Lighttt hears the music..."SHUT THAT MUSIC OFF....sorry for being mean or anything.."Lighttt shouted.

Etsumi stopped playing her violin and glanced at Lighttt. She gave him a gentle smile and said, "If you hate it so much. Why don't you move?" Etsumi then continued to play.  

[Krazy Kaori]

Kaori glanced up as the male approached her. "A-ah, I'm Kaori..." she murmured in surprise as she studied him quickly. "I'm sorry you're... bored," she added uncertainly. Kei stirred in her lap, turning to growl faintly at the boy, but Kaori tapped the small dragon's head to make him stop.

She turned her crimson eyes back towards the girl playing music and growled under her breath. She didn't want to be reminded of sad things right now! Perhaps if something else... Her thoughts cut off as the boy shouted and she blinked in surprise as he did. Then she narrowed her eyes again at the girl's retort.

"Maybe I don't want to move because I am talking to someone."Lighttt retorted."Sorry about that."

Etsumi glanced at the girl near the fountain, and flashed her a warm smile. Etsumi could see that she was angering the students around her, but today... just for today, she wished to be selfish and not care about anyone's opinions but herself.
Etsumi tilted her head upward and closed her eyes, before playing another song. This one was different, it started out as a cheerful song, then reached lower notes and made an eerie tune, then slowly shifting back to sorrow. Etsumi then gripped her violin and played a bit faster. The angry part of the song.
Etsumi could hear a conversation from the past in the back of her head. It was filled with anger and hatred. Her parents. Etsumi stopped abruptly at a high squeaky note on her violin and almost dropped her instrument. She gazed up at the sky and stayed in that position for a while.
I was ... so cold to them. To say those three hateful words I did not mean.

Gordon brought Felcity away from the battle and near everyone else. " Now don't go off and get into those battles." he said walking away. he had heard what that boy said.

" If she wants to play it she can play it. if you don't like then thats to bad for you." Gordon said looking at Lightt  

[Krazy Kaori]

"Oh, um... it's alright," Kaori said uneasily as she turned her eyes back towards the boy. She shifted nervously in her seat on the fountain and waved her hand lazily around as she waited for the water to dry off it. "Umm..." she began slowly, but her voice trailed off as she found she had nothing to say. Instead she turned towards wringing her tail awkwardly between her hands as Kei snuggled into her lap.

She glanced up again, peering through black bangs towards the girl who actually smiled at her. She was caught off guard for a moment and slowly returned with a small one of her own. Someone.. smiled at her? Then she turned her head towards the new male who scolded Lighttt for scolding the girl. She watched them all nervously, feeling almost crowded.

"If she wants to play it she can play it. if you don't like then thats to bad for you."Lightt micked. "I just want something thats happy.."

Etsumi instantly realized two people were arguing... well not arguing, but someone was talking in a defiant tone. She glanced at the boy who defended her.Etsumi put her bow and violin in one hand and then curtsied, "I'm sorry if I ... have upset you with my music. I was feeling a bit," Etsumi looked up and smiled, "sad." Etsumi then picked up her violin case and bowed once more, "I hope you accept my apology." Etsumi then stood up and said, "If you would like, I will play a happy tune for you."

Lighttt smiles. "Sure, that would be great."Lightt said.

Lighttt looks at Karoi and bends down beside her. "You wanna know a secret?"Lighttt asked.

Etsumi rested her chin on her violin once more and started to play a cute little tune she used to play for little children back home, while they were playing a game of tag. It was fast paced and a fun melody to play with. Etsumi soon forgot about her sorrowful past and started to even laugh while she was playing. As soon as she was done, Etsumi started to chuckle a little, and gave the students a big grin.
"Music is wonderful isn't it? It helps you forget things."  

[Krazy Kaori]

Kaori's gaze switched to the girl as she stood. She watched silently as she curtsied and then she looked away, towards the dragon who was watching her in worry. "It's alright, Kei." She nodded as she pet his head and let the happier tune dance around her ears.

She glanced towards Lighttt, jumping slightly as she realized how near he was. "Wh-what?" she stammered.

"Do you wanna know a secret, Karoi?"Lighttt asked and smiles.  

[Cathemeral Bird]

"It's so wonderfully warm!" This voice seemed to resonate across the Courtyard. The creator of the voice didn't seem to really care that maybe, just maybe she was bothering someone who wanted to enjoy the nice day.

The day was, in fact, nice. The sun beat down on the courtyard, to which Persian seemed to suck in. Her face was taken up by a fat, cattish grin and her fluffy tan tail swayed from side to side. She finally colapsed in a patch of grass, her position eagle-spread across the grass. A soft purr rumbled in her throat, and golden eyes slitted from pleasure.

Just like home... Persian decided as she looked at the clouds in the sky. Her expression was replaced with a frown. No... No, it's not. Her home was much warmer, and had never seen a patch of grass in all of its existance. Instead, long deserts surrounded it with sand to play in.
