Not responding huh? Fine. Guess I don't need to feel obligated to help you either
Theonis landed on the edge of the roof. He wasn't going to help her but decided to keep an eye out instead. If Daedelus did decide to show up....perhaps he would have to crush them? Bullets wouldn't even hit him if he didn't want them to. He wandered what it was like to just crush them if he could.

The captain responds to Trinity's text.

I didn't establish a detail for a post alarm bed-check. North did contact me shortly after the incident and asked if he could do one. I figured after what he had been through it would be an easy task for him. No one else was assigned to that detail.

Trinity saw the text and thought This happened when we were in the process for scanning the facility for any more of that biomatter. In the mean time as north he could easily go for any room without arising suspicion... allowing him to choose his next victim. I wonder though... why Alec? What advantage could he take of his power?

She responds to the captain [I am keeping an eye on a possible suspect. I'll let you know when I know for certain.]

"I'm sorry." Justine sighed softly. She had no idea how bad the whole situation was for these Meta-humans. All she knew was that she needed to help them. "It horrible that we live in a world that fears and shuns those who are special. How they try to put all in the same category. I know I can't really do much to help, I wish I could..." She swallowed hard as she ate a slice of watermelon. "The police force is truly horrible when it comes to people like us. I've seen it. They believe everything they are told and don't look at each case separately." She sighed again. "There was a time we protected the innocent, but their ideas of Justice is wrong." she frowned as she twirled the spaghetti around her fork.

"It's okay." Deora said, pausing to take a bite of her food, continuing when she swallowed. "I don't think I ever saw you chasing me, so I know you weren't one of the bad ones. I guess that's all in the past now, anyways, huh? We've got the rest of Valhalla to help us out if we get into trouble, if we even do."

She was hoping the smoke and rumored Meta activity would get them off of her back, But they wouldn't budge. The men from the Daedelus Project...where currently chasing her. When the Media got word of it they couldn't let it go and also decided to follow her. Now she had a camera crew AND Daedelus after her. Currently she was all over the news. Liv Crystalion the wanted Meta. After all it's not everyday that you can follow the capture of a Meta on TV. She felt a sharp pain in her right leg but kept on running. Liv knew they had just shot her in an attempt to stop her from running. But that won't work on a Meta who can regenerate almost instantly.

As she ran she jumped and turned in mid-air. Reaching out with her hand, a blinding flash of light was generated from it. This stopped the Daedelus troops for a short period of time but she knew it wouldn't last long. She used this moment to continue her run.

Ako pulled up next to the van a few minutes after Gidget parked. Most would see him cruising slowly to look at the parked cars, as any car guy would do, but in reality he was distracted by something else. Ever since he got his power he'd been more in tune with electricity, to the point of sensing the flow of electricity in the things around him. He could sense the way a machine worked, and he could feel a person's heart beat. When he was around Gidget, though, he couldn't seem to find hers. He thought that maybe it was masked by the circuitry of the suit around her, but he'd always been able to sense her inside her other creations.

He let out a sigh of relief as he shut off the engine and put the kick stand down. Maybe now he'd get a chance to relax for a bit in someplace other than a tent of a cheap motel room. "Hello again, Gidge." He smiled at the suit. "I guess you got them set up?"

Kali and Liadan followed the medics silently. This place, whatever it was, would be more like a prison then a home to the sisters. But now was not the time to worry about that.

After the medics left their dorm, the tension faded in the room faded as they both allowed themselves to relax somewhat.

"Jezebel will not be happy." Kali frowned deeply.
"I know." Liadan sighed. "but what choice did we have? If we fought them, and we lost, they would have brought us here as prisoners. At least this way we're thought of as guests."

The elder sister paused for a moment before nodding. Lia had a point. A damned good one. That didn't happen often. Gigdet had said something about letting them go... 'topside'... if they learned to use their powers for good. Or something like that. Jezebel was going to have a hard time with that. She had always been rebellious.

The two sisters stood in the main room of their dorm in silence. Kali had nothing to say, and Lia wasn't sure what to do. Both were to worried about Jez's reaction to the choice they had been forced to make. And to make matters worse, the tension had returned....

Justine nodded somewhat as she finished off the melon and started on the pasta. It wasn't often that she had someone to talk to while she ate, and she found that she rather liked Deora. Although, at the same time, she had to admit that this girl was not someone she would have been friendly towards if she was still an officer of the law. She felt bad for that. She would have to talk to some of her friends in the force and see if she could do something.

The first pile torn apart, the angel went to work on tearing them apart, trying to get some of the survivors out of their steely death beds. She cried out as she ripped her hands against the hot jagged steel, but did nothing to stop her own bleeding as she worked on getting the people away from the wreckage.

He let out a sigh of relief as he shut off the engine and put the kick stand down. Maybe now he'd get a chance to relax for a bit in someplace other than a tent of a cheap motel room. "Hello again, Gidge." He smiled at the suit. "I guess you got them set up?"

Gidget unconsciously fidgets with her hands. Some old habits indeed die hard. "I guess so. It wouldn't surprise me if they tried to break out the minute the oldest one wakes up. I just hope that they come to their senses and see what a terrible thing they've done."

She looks back up at Ako and sighs. She motions to him and says, "I'm gonna go get out of this thing. Walk with me. We have a great deal of catching up to do."

Theonis looked down at Angel while she was freeing the people. It was difficult for him to watch it as she tore her hands. Why the hell are you doing this for the people who would let us die if it were our roles where reversed?

"The longer we stay here...the more likely it is that Daedelus comes after us....s**t..Looks like I have to help after all" Theonis said to himself. After which he dropped himself. He fell straight down from the height that would normally kill a person. But he landed normally due to his powers. He walked towards the pile, looked at Angel and sighed. He had to help her. She had helped him understand his powers a great deal better. By applying pressure at the right places he could easily rip out a door or any other place that needed to be removed in order for the person inside to get out.

As Deora ate, she tried to think of something to talk about. As nice as it was to finally have someone to sit with, it was always better to have conversation. But what was there to talk about? What could a Hispanic teen used to running from the law have to talk about with a white cop? She thought about asking about Justine's knew eyes, but maybe that wouldn't be the best topic over food. They'd already talked about their powers, and Deora didn't see much else they might have in common. After she took a drink an idea hit her.

"So, what kind of music do you listen to?"

Ako unstrapped his backpack from the sissy bar of his bike and hefted it onto his shoulder as Gidget talked about the sisters. The pack was dusty from travel and had to be patched up numerous times due to the rough life it'd had, but it still served it's purpose well. "Maybe they'll do something to surprise you and turn out to be good kids."
He said as he shrugged his shoulders to settle the weight of the pack on his shoulders. "Sometimes good people just do bad things."
He turned back to Gidget when he was ready and motioned for her to lead the way. "And yeah, I'd say we might have a bit to talk about." He smiled

Gidget walks ahead of him. Her heavy steps sending a resounding bass through the hallway. She thinks about what she should bring up. Why he left? Where he's been? Does he like short or long hair?

She is perplexed by that last thought. She had accepted that her initial feelings for Ako had been due to a school girl crush. Perhaps there was more to it.

She takes a quick scan of Ako and asks, "Did you dislocate your shoulder?"

Ako couldn't help but admire the flows of electricity within Gidget's suit as he walked beside it, the same way some mechanics like to watch machinery in motion, or the way other people watch ballet. He was snapped out of thoughts instantly forgotten when Gidget spoke up. He shrugged the subject shoulder, only now becoming aware of the dull ache. It wasn't the first time it had been dislocated, and though he healed faster then a normal human, it had still become looser in it's socket the same as a normal person's would. While it was easier to dislocate, it was easier to relocate as well. He didn't even think too much about it anymore.

"Yeah, but I got it back in pretty well." He said nonchalantly. "Nothing to worry about, why?"

"Oh, I just...I can see in x-ray. I could see the damage done to your shoulder."

She opens the door into her portion of R&D. Before opening the suit room she turns back around to Ako.

She says playfully, "What I'm wearing in this leaves little to the imagination. No peeking now."

"Anything... everything." Justine laughed softly. "Music is so much more now then what it used to be." She smiled somewhat. "I don't know if I can even explain how much music has helped me the past few weeks."

Tansy looked over to see Theonis helping her. She flashed a quick smile at him. "You help the people here, I'm going down to the other intersection!" She called out as she ran towards the other pile of cars.
