"Hold your tongue Deora before I make you bite it off." Alexavier replied dangerously, actually sending out the urge to bit it off to her. Just the urge not the command of doing so.

"I thought you of all people knew not to piss of those stronger than you. Or has your time here taken away everything you've learned on your own in the slums of the sub-district? Trinity is a shadow manipulating teleporter. Liv on the other hand travels with light. I'm sure you know the speed of light. She could be on the other side of the planet within a second and back. And guess what...Trinity and Liv went together because Trinity couldn't make that teleportation on her own." Alexavier replied showing unusual restraint.

The Count of Monte Carlo
Ako meant to catch Gidget as she approached, but the blast of noise forced his eyes closed and made him suddenly glad he hadn't eaten much that day as he dry retched. His mouth tasted of bile, but nothing came up. His eyes opened in time to let him help Gidget up as she skidded to a stop near him. He tried to blink the headache and buzzing away as Gidget explained the timing of her plan, but it felt like a pound of cotton was thoroughly lodged in each ear, as well as his brain. He caught the gist of her words, though. "Let's get this over with, then." Witty it was not, but witty had been knocked out of him when his bike hit the concrete.

Gidget tucked herself behind Ako and positioned her right hand behind his heels. The "tendons" of her artificial limbs tightened like springs. She used her left leg to push them around the pillar, and her right arm to launch Ako like a flight pad.

DJ Dead Light was caught in an off beat, giving Ako an extra half second. The rhythm began to slow. The Drop was coming.

Dusk was about to answer when the light show started.

"Tch, how incredibly rude."

He effortlessly devoured all the light with his blade. The explosion was another matter. He had been focusing on absorbing light. The force of the blast caused him to rock back on his heels and stumble.

"Oh you playful little minx. I'm going to enjoy this."

The light around Dusk began to bend. The overcast caused by the Prime Decaelum was why Dusk had chosen this as the place to fight Kaelonni. Using an ability his kind called shadow's leap, he began to pop from one place of the battlefield to the other. He was popping so quickly that it seemed like there were several of him at times.

He feinted and popped mostly. Attacking until it seemed like his attack would slice through Liv. But occasionally he would take a shallow swipe that was intended to cause minimal damage with maximum pain.

Liv smirk faded when he began appearing all over the place. There was no way she could keep track of it. Before she managed to respond some of his attacks had already connected. It hurt...so much. Liv began to curse her fate of having to do this. She was never a fighter but now she had to defeat him? In a flash of light she vanished only to pop up a bit further away. But when she did that she was greeting with a shallow strike on her back. This continued for a while. There was no way for her to escape this!

She fell on her hands and knees. Her regeneration would save her. It wasn't instant but it was fast and unlike the other powers this one was permanent. But what was the point of healing if he would just strike again? Expanding her Cancelation field to it's maximum range of 3 meters she had hoped he wouldn't be able to do as he please anywhere near her.

The multiple Dusk's became one. as he slowly approached Liv with murderous hunger in his eyes.

"As I expected. Things get tough and you resort to falling to your knees. And what's this I'm sensing? Is that a power cancellation field? Do you honestly think that will save you? Well, let me tell you something about the people that come from here. We were a step above you mongrels. The majority of us tapped the source before we discovered that the meteors bestowed access to it. That type of power development is not so easily stopped. In fact, the only thing you can stop..."

He approached the barrier and stuck his hand into it's effective range. The flesh that made up his hand stripped away like burning paper and revealed smoking talons that could palm a watermelon.

"Is this baser form that I choose to take."

He pulled his hand out of the field. The same black threads restored his limb's condition to that of a human.

The world around them seemed to close in. The barrier he spoke of was closing in, bring the Decaelum closer with each moment. Just when the nightmare creatures were about to close in on Liv and Dusk, the boundaries gave way to the Grand Hall of the citadel. They were back on Earth.

Dusk looked down on Liv and took a few steps back.

"Look, I can be fair. We're back on the island. So go ahead. Lick you wounds, dog. I'll wait." he taunted as he strode over to the replacement "throne" and sat upon it like Conan the barbarian.

s**t s**t s**t It's not working.

The only thing she succeeded in was destroying his base form. Which helped her in zero aspects. Then it all started to cave in on her. Everything came closer and closer....with no way out. Then suddenly it was all gone and they were back in the real world. He was looking down on her. Like she was nothing to him. Like everything she could ever do to him wouldn't even matter. He would just...ignore her. No, she had just gotten closure with her sister but the feelings of being ignored were something that lingered. A feeling she hated. Liv slowly rose but looked down at first. Time for something completely different. They were all going to die anyway if he were be left to his own devices.

"I wonder what Umbra would say after seeing you like this. Or Anima. Tell me Eclipse, why did all of this happen? Why did you strike down your sister with a piece of meteorite? Why turn against your mothers wishes? Were you mad for her leaving you?"Liv said as she slowly raised her head. The All Seeing Eye fully formed."Will you tell me....or do I need to see for myself?"

Dusk's smirk slowly faded as she named the people from his past. He couldn't fathom how she could possibly know. Then the answered stared him in the face. Those eyes. Those damned eyes.

The last time he'd seen those eyes was when he was sealed within Teshoumaru decades ago. If it hadn't been for Leviathan's electrical attack he'd still be in there. He wasn't about to allow it to happen again.

"NO!" he cried out before throwing a knife at one of the overhead lights, casting himself into darkness. He slid into the shadows, where he surmised he would not be seen.

"I knew something was off when Kaelonni didn't use them. So she gave them to you?! One of Soul's chidren?! It makes me want to wretch. No, not wretch...rend!"

He knew the clone trick wouldn't work again, so he opted to go with what had worked before. He starting popping in and out of shadows rapidly. Without the full coverage from before there were a finite number of places he could emerge from. Once he was convinced the stupid blonde was confused enough he struck. It wasn't as close as before. Now he put just a bit more energy into the blade to permanently remove a large portion of Liv's midsection.

As his smirk faded hers slowly grew. Jackpot. She just had to be careful with using the eyes. He feared those eyes. And that was something she could use. Liv tried to keep up with his movements but noticed that she didn't followed him completely. Her eyes already moved to the spot where he was going to be. And as he struck, she was no longer there. The reappeared above him striking down with Ako's lightning.

Dusk hollered in pain as the lightning arced through his body. There was another voice that came with it. Dusk's form writhed for a moment before he managed to draw Izayoi. The lightning was drawn to it. It sparked and pulsed with the electric energy it was sapping.

Dusk fell into his own shadow and appeared in front of the throne. He swiped with Izayoi and sent a flying crescent of electricity at Liv.

Liv landed gracefully, her eyes normal again. There was something off about that scream of his. Two voices. And then there was that blade. It absorbed the lightning. So one for Light and one for Lightning?

She held out her hand and absorbed what he sent back at her. It actually helped her. Now she didn't waste a charge.

"Do you want me to tell you how you are going to die or do you want that bit to be a surprise?"She asked.

Dusk grit his teeth and glared at Liv with jaundiced eyes.

"A mongrel, killing a God?! You may possess the eyes, but that doesn't make your bluff any more credible."

He was about to advance when his chest erupted in a wild spray of black blood from three spectral blades that appeared directly in front of him. He again hollered in two voices and stumbled back onto the throne.

From just behind Liv was the freshly enraged Rydia. She had streaks of blood scattered all over her. The area below her eyes had streaks that were without blood. They came from her tears.

"That wasth for my father you basthtard!"

She looked past Liv and saw the body of her mother.

"Oh godsth, not you too!" she gasped as she ran past Liv and slid to her knees by her mother.

"Mother? Mother!" she wailed. She tensed up and threw her head back, giving a mighty lion's roar.

She stood up and removed the band from her eye. It opened to reveal a fire red iris surrounding the infinity sign of the All Seeing Eye.

"Liv. He'sth mine. I don't care if he'sth in my unclesth body. I'm going to show him why my surname is Sthpirit Claw." she growled.

She whipped her hands to her side and summoned spectral claws that enveloped her hand and extended well past twelve inches in length.

Deora_Alvarez

"What do you mean, 'she's out of range?' She was here just earlier today! What, in a few hours, she's outside your coverage area? What's your range, a block?" In the back of her mind, she realized it might be a bad idea to speak to a psychic like that, but she just couldn't stand that level of smugness. "Kay, why did we even come to this guy?" She asked her friend, jerking a thumb at Alex.

"I'm sorry we bothered you Alexavier. I guess we'll need to figure something else." She looked to Deora, "I'm sorry, I thought he could do it. I'm running out of ideas of how to get this message to Trinity." Her ears flatten in dispair,"So what now? Should we try reaching out to Theonis? He may have more resources." She knew Deora wouldn't like the idea but there wasn't anyone else she could think of. "If you have a better idea I'd like to hear it."

"I never said it would be me that kills you" Liv softly replied.

Then Rydia charged in. Exclaiming that attack was for her father. Did he die? She was just with him and he was shot but he seemed like he was going to make it. Did he kill him shortly after she left?

"Be careful he likes to fight dirty. If it looks like your will lose I am stepping in. I promised your mother I'd look after you." Liv folded her arms and took a few steps back. She was glad she didn't have to continue fighting. Rydia has way more experience than she has. But Liv would keep an eye out for any 'foul' play that she might get sucked into.

The black threads once again healed Dusk's wounds. He grunted and lift himself back to his feet. Then he saw another eye, but this one was worse than the one's Liv was using earlier. He immediately averted his eyes, but he could still feel the piercing gaze of the Rydia's All Seeing Eye.

"To Hell with the both of you! I'm done with this place. You'd better be able to fly or swim, because I'm going to send this island crashing down!"

He sank into the shadows and retreat with a mad cackle.

Rydia's eyes went wide when what he said sank in. She dispelled her claws and replaced the band over her eye before turning around to face Liv.

"You can blink, right? Can you follow him?" she asked in a hurry.

Sill cut off the shadow link and severed the bones that were sticking out of her. Within seconds her wounds had healed.

"I'll be fine. So long as I'm in this realm and there's no mithril I can heal almost immediately."

"An undead of this caliber usually has some sort of parasite or insect that is in place of it's heart. But the necromancer is a crafty one. He may have multiple parasites. We need to do something that will eliminate his entire body. Fire would work best."

Trinity felt relieved when she pointed out that she was okay.
"Well we can't do fire down here can we?" She wondered, Where am I going to get fire at a time like this... wait... there's Heather... but, I can't take this guy to her, I don't want to put her at risk...

"I have an idea, can you keep him occupied?"
