Liv had really placed herself in a bad position. She knew that if she moved away the crystal would be destroyed and the island would fall. There wasn't a lot of time to assess the different possible outcomes with her eyes. And the twitching of the arms made it hard to predict it's movements. There was no dodging them all. It was impossible. The only thing she did manage to do is not stumble when the island shook.

He was getting too damn close. Liv began to gather light. Charging herself up.

Heather gave Trinity a big toothy grin. "I would like that a lot. Climb on and point me in the right direction. I hope it's that zombie jerk. That cackle of his was driving me crazy on the ride here."

Once of the dragon priests approached Trinity hastily.

"Many pardons, oh revered Trinity, but the almighty Ember musn't move yet."

Heather gently prodded the priest with the dull side of her index claw. "Hey, don't worry about me. I'm a whole lot better now thanks to you guys. I'll be fine if Trinity's with me."

Heather seemed to be more than okay with it which was good in this case. She was afraid that she may be conflicted with taking another life. That was the first tough lesson she learned from Freya.

Trinity mounted Heather then nodded, at the concerned dragon priest. "She's right. I'll be sure to bring her back here once the deed is done." She looked downward and thought Man, this whole mission is getting more epic… how many people can say they ride a dragon to battle a necromancer?

The island quaked, quickly she steadied herself and thought, This can't be good... Hang in there Liv I'll be with you soon enough.

As they take to the air, she said, "And to answer your question yes, it is the zombie jerk." In the air they had a good view of all the fights going on. There was an empty clearing, she pointed "Down there." Once landed Trinity explained the rest of her plan. She was going to draw him here so that she would have a clear shot of just him.

Heather sniffed the air and raised her head.

"I don't think you'll have to worry about drawing him here. He's on his way here. He must've seen us when we were airborne."

The necromancer was indeed on his way. He was alone, and he was angry.

"We only have a few seconds. Should I hide?" she asked Trinity.

The void crescent finally petered out, and Dusk was through with screwing around.

He gouged the ground with the void blade and slithered into it like gelatin, leaving the women alone in the crystal chamber.

Rydia covered her left eye with her hand and rushed up to the primary crystal to inspect it.

"She doesthn't stheem to be hurt. Thank the ancientsth you were able to sthop him from killing my Grandmother." she sighed.

Liv stopped charging as Eclipse retreated. He wounds were almost done healing. She shut her eyes and exhaled. When she opened them again they were her normal blue eyes again.

"That was the idea. She's the power source of this place isn't she?" Liv said and sat down for quick break.

"One way or another...." She mumbled " Is there anything else keeping this thing afloat?"

"Yes hide. I'll keep him occupied." Trinity thought if ordinary weapons were no good against him, she thought it wouldn't hurt to gain some assistance from Sill. She closed her eyes, held the charm on her choker and focused, "Sillouette". Wind spiraled around her.

Rydia nodded. "When replacthed, the lastht Queen sthacrificthesth her sthelf to keep the island aloft. Lokelonni wasthn't the lastht Queen, but the ruler before my mother sthuccumbed to fepher. She was born with a weak consthtitution."

She considered Liv's other question and shook her head.

"The crystalsth are the only thing keeping thisth island afloat. If he wanted to bring it down he'd have to break it apart from the insthide. Any land not in direct contact with the cthitadel would fall to the ocean below. "

Liv nodded and listened. And then...something just...clicked inside her head. She immediately activated the eyes and gazed into the future. Then she saw it, a potential future, a possibility.

The crumbling landscape of the citadel, entire sections of it being cut off. Cries of panic overruled by the laughter of madness.

When Rydia mentioned it, it already seemed like a perfect alternative plan. If you can't destroy what's keeping it afloat....destroy everything connecting to it.

"That's it.....he's going to destroy everything connected to the crystal."

Sill felt a burst of energy wash through her. Trinity's shadow slithered behind her and took the form of Silhouette, dress and all. Her sleeves billowed with the spiral of wind as she drew her arms around Trinity tenderly. Once contact was made a bright light burst from Trinity's charm and enveloped the duo.

Heather had ducked into the wood line as best as she could. She had to avert her eyes to keep from being blinded.

The necromancer came from the other side and covered his eyes. He had seen this accursed light before, but this was different.

The light faded and Trinity was adorned with a practical full bodied ebony armor that covered up to her neck. A brilliant but none abrasive light shone from the joints. A single eye opened on the top of Trinity's right gauntlet. The silver iris indicated it was Silhouette's eye.

"I am now an extension of your will." a voice whispered from the eye.

Her eye rolled in the direction of the necromancer and blinked.

"The darker the shadow..."

The necromancer growled and tore his mask off. His face was as decayed and rotted as his soul. Eight skeletal limbs burst from his back and lifted him off the ground in a spider like fashion.

"No. I will not be vanquished again!"

She uncovered her left eye and peered into the ground. Her voice trembled as she said, "It'sth...I can't beliefe it. He'sth sthpreding through the island like a virusth. Sthuch power isth...isth...impossthible."

She covered her eye again and swallowed hard. "We have lessth than five minutesth before the island is underwater."

She turned to Liv and sputtered, "Liv pleasthe. I need you to blink me to the highestht point of the cthitadel. There is an efacuation alarm up there. The people mustht be warned."

Her own eyes went down to the floor and she too saw it. There was no way to remove this...infection.

Liv didn't waste time on words. She grabbed Rydia's shoulder and blinked the both of them to the highest possible point on the island. Letting go of Rydia she focused her eyes to see....everything. But mainly the many branches of darkness that was Eclipse. This would take a lot out of her but she had to do something. She began to bombard what she could see with her strongest beams of light. Piercing through the cement, the rock to hit their target. It could only slow him down. If that even worked. He absorbed the previous light. But if she could buy time, then right now that is all she could do.

Trinity took a brief moment to take a look at her armor. Wow! Now this is what I call armor! She noticed Silhouette's eye on the gauntlet.

"…THE BRIGHTER THE LIGHT! RAAAH!" As she rushed forward toward necromatic creature and thought of her glaive as she did so, or one very much like it. Just as she willed it was there in time to slash upward.

As they entered he welcomed them and asked them if they wanted to sit down.
He leaned forward with his elbows and folded his hands.

"It's been a while, is what I'd like to say but we just saw each other at Heather's. So, what information do you ladies have for me?"

Kerana took a seat and responded to his little joke, "Heh heh... indeed. Um so Alec had this premonition. I wrote it all down here." She handed Theonis her phone.

Text from Kerana

Hi Trinity,
Alec had a premonition...

Three peoples with iron masks ride atop a dragon. The dragon's shadow brings an army following her flames.
The fallen rise and betray their own.
A woman with two minds becomes a walking arsenal.
The dragon guard its master. Its master commands a king from another star. A family torn by ancient darkness.

I'm not sure if this is important but the person riding the dragon controls animals and animal metas.

A lot of people are going to die on the island. There's going to be a tidal wave that comes from an enormous chunk of rock hitting the ocean. The floating island may plummet into the ocean.

Be careful out thee Trinity it sound like things are going to go crazy.

[!] Undelivered

"As you could tell, I tried to send it to Trinity but no luck. We tried visiting Alexavier, but even though his power is great, even he couldn't figure out a way to reach out to her."

"I don't know what else to do, so I thought if I can't deliver the message to her, perhaps you may have a better way to get it to her or help out. It seems like there's going to be some sort of tidal wave and something about a floating island?"

Rydia ran to the keyboard and began typing furiously to activate the alert system. After a few seconds, massive horns emerged from the top of the citadel and began blaring deep baritone notes.

Immediately, anyone who had made it to a safe zone was being ushered toward blink runes that would take them to their designated evacuation site on a deserted island in the Bahamas. Soldiers that were still engaged with Daedalus troops began to fall back toward their designated runes.

Dusk cackled silently to himself as his essence spread through the island. He felt the occasional blast of light pierce his being, but it was only delaying the inevitable. No mortal could stop the void.

Rydia hurried over to Liv. Thankfully the area they were in had a sound muffling enchantment put on it, but the princess still had to shout over what was making it through.

"That did it. Can you take me to the surface so I can get Carak?"

Down below, the wolf hound had found a strange scent. The scent belong to a human laying against a dirt wall. He approached her and barked to get her attention.

Theresa cracked open her eyes as best as she could. The swelling in her face made it hard. She heard the dog, but she wasn't sure if it was friendly or what.

That's when something stirred inside of her. That child. That stupid child loved dogs. Theresa fought as hard as she could, but she was too tired. She hurt too much. She'd had enough.

Theresa's hair began to change color at the roots and work it's way outward.
It had turned to a dark red. The change was reflected in her eyes as well.

Thea's face hurt so bad. Her whole body hurt. Her eyes welled up with tears as she started sobbing loudly.

"Ow. Ow. Owie ow ow."

She looked in the direction of the dog and reached out to him.

"Can you help me? Doggy, please?" she whined.
