Theo let out an audible sigh.

"Thank God....I've been trying to reach you for a while but I am guessing there isn't a good connection there. Are you okay?" Theo replied as he dropped in his chair.

"Alec had a premonition. The island is going to fall and cause a tidal wave. I don't know how things are on your end but I am about to send a few jets if we have those. "

Trinity smiled at the sound of his voice. "I'm okay. I've been trying to reach you as well. If I just gotten signal now, the email I tried to send earlier should be on its way over."

Then he told her of Alec's premonition. If she had known this in the first place she would have evacuated the island. She thought the island would be there after everything was said and done. "We do have those, ask Gidget about them. The island is already in the process of falling apart, the sooner we can get the survivors to Valhala, the better. Was there anything else he had in his premonition?“

"Just that people on the island are going to die. But I think that already happened. All I know of is the Tidal wave. That's it. I'll send some airplanes over. I dunno how many they can hold and how many people there are. Do you have an estimate?"

"Home for people like me. Every single person there has been affected by the meteors. It's a safe place for us. I don't think you are a meta but you fit right in. I got a massive apartment there." Liv explained.

"Sounds great." she grunted. "Do you think there'll be room enough for my people?"

Her own voice sounded so strange to her. She had always had that lisp. She looked down at the perpetrator of the impromptu dental work and scowled.

"What about her? As much as I would love to slit her throat, she could still have information useful to us."

Deora shrugged at Kerana and the kid's idea. "Sure. If we can't actively help Heather, I at least don't want to be cooped up in here. Some fresh air and a walk sounds good."

She couldn't help but wonder where their walk would take them. Was there something the kid wanted to see, or would they just wander around? With a little smirk, she wondered if she should show them where she'd been living. Maybe the Rat Guy and his pack would like to know about Valhalla. Would they even be accepted? The idea of them moving in made her skin crawl, but she couldn't stop herself from speculating.

Kerana

Damien beamed brightly. He knew these two would be his best bet at a friendly introduction to the outside world.

"Most excellent. I was hoping we could go to a large gathering place. I'd like to observe social interaction outside of this closed community. Perhaps one of those mall things I've read about?" he suggested.

Theresa tried her best to stop wriggling under the grasp of the wolf's jaws, but she was starting to become impatient with her situation.

"Whatever you're going to do, do it fast. It's only a matter of time before my sisters arrive to back up Dusk. " she warned.

They emerged behind a couple of priests in the middle of Heather's back. Though they may have been shaken up, Trinity made her way toward Heather's head. "Heather, I'm back with Freya in tow. Have you pin pointed Liv's location?"

Heather had to stop herself from shaking her head. "There're a lot of light trails coming from the island. It's hard to pinpoint any one of them."

The leathery flaps on the side of her head twitched at the same time Freya's ears did. They heard something coming toward them that was followed by a scent of burning fuel.

Heather craned her neck toward the sound and focused her eyes on the four figures flying at them with what looked like jet packs. What concerned her more were the weapons they were holding in their hands.

"Trinity? There's something coming. Four of them. They're dressed like the girl with the mask and pigtails that fired those rockets on the island. What should I do?"

The Count of Monte Carlo
As he rolled the bike into the indicated spot, he wondered what the surprise might be,even as he reached out with his EM sense to try and find any out-of-place electrical conduits.

Gidget skipped over toward a blank portion of the wall and turned toward Ako. She pouted when she saw what he was trying to do.

"Hey now. No cheating. Besides, it wont do you any good anyway. Because it only closes a circuit when I tell it to here."

She placed her hand on the blank portion and used her power to finish Ako's surprise.

The walls flipped and the floor opened up to reveal a private, personal, and highly customized all around bike fix it shop just for Ako. The tools on the wall were recognizable but designed by Gidget to be as efficient as possible.

Under the tools was as bench with various welding tools, vices, and everything needed for a bike enthusiast.

The open floor had an adjustable stand and various other holding apparatus for Ako's bike.

She held her hands in front of her and twisted her torso adorably. "You like it? I figured you were tired of having to share tools and space with the other mechanics"

Ako smirked as Gidget guessed what he was doing, but he'd only gotten a glimpse of some circuits he couldn't identify before she activated them. His smirk melted into a wide-eyed look of astonishment, something like a kid getting the key to a candy store. He was used to making his repairs in parking lots. Paved ones, if he was lucky. He'd always carried a specific set of old tools he kept tucked away on the bike. He'd dreamed of having a workspace like this, but he'd never actually expected to get one. He thought he was lucky to get to use Gidget's lab to fix the bike, but to get an actual space just for it? It was unbelievable.

After his eyes scanned the little shop, taking in every tool and instrument, he looked to Gidget. He barely managed to keep his jaw closed, but the surprise, and joy, were evident in his eyes, and his smile. It was the biggest show of happiness he'd expressed since he'd come back.

And it wasn't just the tools. It was the fact that Gidget had rounded all of it up, and made a space just for him. While his mind was full of doubts of where he truly belonged, of whether he had a reason to stay, or if he should just cut ties again and leave, she showed him this. It was a sign that he was wanted, that someone cared about him beyond their own need for companionship. He'd never gotten anything like that out on his own.

He barely remembered to put the kickstand down before getting off the bike and enveloping her in a tight hug. "Thank you." He said into her hair. He did his best to keep his voice even.

"It's hard to tell everyone seems to be scattered across several near by islands. I would think... I guess a population of a small city?" She noticed Freya and Heather responding.

She spoke to Theonis, "I'm going to have to get back to you on that, looks like Dusk invited four more friends to the party. I love you, I have to go." After he responded she hung up.

"Hang on Heather, let me try to reach out to Liv." she called Liv. When she answered, "Hey Liv, glad you're still alive. Can you send us a signal as to where you are? We may have some more of Dusk's friends to deal with. Four of them... with rocket packs." she knew she needed to get these people to safety but she also needed to have everyone sync up and hopefully provide Theonis with a proper answer as to how many to account for.

"Sounds as good a place to start observing social interactions." Kerana took a moment to tell Alec what they were up to. They stopped by her dorm to get her hat and whatever else she needed. She wrapped her tail around her like a shaw or a boa. They arrived to the elevator that would take them to the surface. "Okay, here we are... the elevator to the surface. Excited Damian?"

"Ah crap....that many? Alright, I love you too. Kick their asses and come back alright?"" Theo said as he hung up the phone.

Great....that's a lot of people to transport.

Liv felt her phone vibrate. Which wasn't that odd since it was a pretty damn tight suit. She was still surprised she managed to fit her phone in the pocket.

"Yeah, I've seen better days though. At least I didn't lose a hand this time. What? Great...." Liv said and raised her other hand to the sky and shot out a bright red signal." I'm here with Rydia and one of the attackers. Rydia won't be able to move well at the moment." Liv replied.

Trinity saw the beam of light. "Okay I'll see you shortly." She waited for her response then hung up. "Heather, you see that column of light? That's Liv. Head over there and we'll land and drop everyone off and then we'll figure out what to do next."

"Ooph!" Gidget exhaled sharply. She knew he would like the gift, but she wasn't expecting him to react that way. She relaxed and settled into his grasp.

"Glad you like it. I was wondering how I was going to be able to sneak it under your nose, but your little trips provided juuuust enough time to get it done. I was hoping to show it to you under better circumstances though. Y'know, when you're ride isn't looking like...that." she commented with a nod toward the bike that had seen better days.

Damien looked up to Kerana and did his best to look pleasant.

"Only slightly. I have retained some memories from Shane Morris, but he lived in seclusion for the latter part of his life. Print and televised news paints a dismal picture of our place in this world. I am hoping that reality is a better gauge for how we are treated."

Theresa's eyes twitched slightly at Liv's conversation. She hadn't expected her sisters to arrive so quickly. It must've been one of the soldiers who called it in when the island began to collapse. Time for plan B.

"Hey! I'll tell you whatever it is you want to know, just take me with you. If my sister's see me like this I'm as good as dead, and you're without any leads." she stated as a matter of fact.
