Courtyard (North)

[Krazy Kaori]

Kaori's mouth dropped open at the girls words as her widened eyes fell upon the male. "A spirit...?" she repeated in wonder, reaching out slowly and tapping Sai's arm. She bit her lip and hesitated as if expecting her hand to go right through.

Kai hid his surprise almost perfectly, it just barely shining in his eyes for a moment. He glanced towards Kaori and nearly laughed at her response. She really was still a kid. Then Kai shook his head slightly as he set his eyes on Sai once again.

"you're hand won't go through, if that's what you're thinking. I have two forms; human and spirit. Officially, I'm dead, but I have my ways," he sighed, looking down at Meghan who was smiling at Kaori's reaction.

"Kaori-chan!!" she sqeaked, jumping up and hugging Kaori. "You're so cute!!" she giggled. She let go of Kaori, seeing Kai looking at Sai, and walked over to him. "Somethign bugging you?" she asked sweetly, raising an eye brow before laughing.

Kaori's face flushed red as she quickly jerked her hand back. "S-sorry," she stammered, looking to the ground in embarassment. She gave a startled cry as Meghan suddenly hugged her and felt her body go rigid in response, even her tail stopping it's movement to go stick straight. Her eyes were still wide as the girl released her. "U-umm..." she started but then let her voice trail off as she tried to recover. She'd certainly never been called cute before.

Kai couldn't contain the laugh this time as he watched Kaori. He hadn't been around her long, but he still found her very amusing already and was glad their personalities didn't clash. Then making up for the past would be very difficult... He looked up again as the girl spoke. "Ah, no. Not really," he said, shaking his head.

"Then why do you keep staring at Sai-chan?" she laughed. "So, how long you guys been here?" she asked, walking over to Sai, before sitting down again and swaying from left to right, her hands in her lap.

"You look oh-so-obidiant," he sighed, closing his eyes before disapearing and becoming a spirit. "You know," he said, sitting behind Meghan as he leaned against her, "it's quite peacful here... then again, so is a lot of places we go. But it's.. different here," he said, playing with her hair.

[[doesn't that tick anyone off? when someone starts to randomly play with your hair? o.O xDDD]]

Lighttt rain in to the wrong courtyard. "Wrong one.."Lighttt mutered but stoped when he found a necklace. He pciked it up and look at it. It glows...he grabbed it and ran out of the courtyard.

Kaori had slowly recovered her composure and was fidgiting with the necklace she wore. Her eyes were still set upon Sai as she watched him with a kind of facinated curiousity. She cried out in surprise again as he suddenly disappeared. "Wh-what?" she gaped, as her eyes darted around.

Kai tapped Kaori's shoulder and nodded towards Meghan, smiling as he saw Kaori's eyes light up in wonder. They could see the girl's hair moving, but not the cause. Kai slowly shook his head as he replied to the girl's question. "Because, well..." he ran his hand through his hair awkwardly. "Truthfully, I've never seen a spirit either..."

[I freak out and my face turns red, most likely. xD Or I'll shiver. >>;;]

She smiled, continuing to sway. "Well, life is always full of surprises. But, now my question is," she said, making small circles in the grass with her finger, "what are your powers?" she asked, not looking up. She was blushing slightly, because she thought it sounded a little rude and was some what awkward.

He sighed, seeing the blush on the brims of her cheek, after cranning his head to look at Kaori when she cried out in surprise. He shook his head, before going back to playing with her hair. "This is quite fun," he laughed.  

[Consistantly_Inconsistant]

Deirdra smiled pleasently at Shien when he sat down next to her and kissed her softly. A small sigh escaped from her lips and she leaned against him, resting her cheek on him, but making sure that her horns wouldn't hurt him in any way. She twirled a piece of her hair between her small index finger as she bit her bottom lip lightly. She felt so comftorable with him in this place. It was very calming to her. It taimed her inner demon, you could say.

Her eyes glanced around at some other people in the courtyard. It made her smile, seeing them. She had been away for so long from actual people, it almost felt alien to her at first. But now it just felt warm and welcoming. Deirdra remembered some people from awhile ago, when she first went here. But, she hadn't seem ever since she came back. She was curious as to where everyone had gone off to.

"Shien? Do you remember anyone that we used to know? I remember their faces, but I don't know their names anymore. But, I haven't seen any of them." The rest of the students she has seen lately were all new to her. It made her slightly uneasy. Though, of course it was enough to just know Shien. But, it was nice to have some more friends or people that you were at least aquintinces with.

Kai glanced at her uncertainly. Why'd she want to know of his powers? He shook his head slightly and then gave a faint smile. Slowly, he held out his hand and closed his eyes for a moment. When they reopened, they were glowing a faint blue. A small gathering of ice formed on his outstretched palm and slowly began building upon itself until it formed into a very small rose. Kai nodded his satisfaction and then tapped his sword with his other hand.

Kaori kept glancing between her brother and Sai, not sure which to look for. She frowned slightly towards where she imagined Sai was, depending her guess on the directon Meghan's hair was moving. But then she looked towards Kai, watching in awe as the rose formed. Then she jumped as something collided against her back, making a strange noise against the metal of her sword. "Ah!" she turned around in surprise and saw Kei hovering in front of her. "Oh, there you are." She grinned and pulled the small dragon in her arms. Then she once again looked around for the spirit, chewing her lip nervously.  

[Lyssie Sue]

Yuri decided to take a walk around the school campus, her long dark red hair swayed as she walked. Her emotionless green eyes were staring up at the sky. She stopped by a tree as she heard voices, her eyes looked around then stopped on a group of four.

Drake finally cought up to Yuri, he walked over to her, but as he got a few feet away from her she looked back at him. Her green eyes glaring at him with hate. "Yuri, I know your angry about what happened when you were only 14, but..." He started to say, but was cut off by a fist making contact to his right cheek.

Yuri's hand was still making a fist as her green eyes glared harder, "What you want to tell me that you a sorry for killing my mother infront of me...?" She said in a low voice, but she was quite suprised Drake was still standing after a hit that hard.

Drake rubbed his cheek, "No, I wanted to tell you that my father was controlling me... He hated you and your mother... And after I found out what happened I killed him and every other vampire in town..." He said to her as he tryed to stay calm. He took a step forward still looking down at Yuri. "I didn't want to lose a good friend like you." He said as he pulled her into a hug.

Meghan looked up, and saw the rose. "That's so georgeous," she said under her breath, her eyes sparkling as she looked at the iced rose. "So...you can minipulate ice?" she asked in awe, looking up at him.

Sai saw Kaori looking for him, so he smiled as he started to materialize again, only so his outline showed until retreating back into a spirit.

Kai nodded and offered it to her. "Yes, I am." he said calmly as he sat in front of her. "What about yourself? Do you have any powers?" He was curious now. She was travling with a spirit.. Did that mean she had some sort of especially strange powers? Then he frowned slightly. No, that didn't make sense.. Nevertheless, he watched her silently as he waited for a reply.

Kaori's eyes were narrowed as she watched the area around Meghan carefully. Suddenly, she thought she saw something, just the outline of Sai's form. "Ah!" she exclaimed again, pointed a clawed finger towards him. But her face fell instantly as she lost sight of him again and she crossed her arms over her chest. "No fair..." she whimpered quietly as she glared towards where she'd last seen him. The small dragon stared at her strangely, confused by her actions.

Mehgan laughed as Kaori got excited. "He's right here," she said, poking Sai in the forehead, although she couldn't see him. "Arigato, Kai-kun, for the rose," she smiled as she accepted the flower.

"Hey, that hurt!" he said, rubbing where she poked him.
"Well, besides being able to see him," she said, poking him again as she giggled, "I can do some alchemy..." she said softly, leaving out something that she thought they might find strange.

Kaori blushed again as Meghan so easily pointed him out. "A-ah, ok..." she murmured quietly as her gaze dropped to the ground. She began absently petting the dragon to distract herself from her embarassment. She suddenly realized how dumb she had probably looked.

Kai nodded slightly. "No problem," he said and then blinked as she replied. "Alchemy?" It was something he'd heard just a little bit about back from his home town, and he didn't really understand it. "Ah, ok..." He was reluctant to admit his ignorance so he just watched her, unaware of the puzzled expression his face still held.

"Oh... i'm sorry, Kaori-chan," she said, holding back a sqeak of 'you're so cutee', "I can see spirits that don't want to be seen... so, that might be why..." she trailed off. She looked back over at Kai, and titled her head. "Something wrong, Kai-kun?"
"Yes, sadly, that is the case," he sighed, materializing behind her, his back against hers, so they could hear and see him again. "Sad isn't it? I can never get away from her that way," he chuckled, teasing her.
