Master and Slave

"Bu......but I didn't say yes." She protested as she blinked at him. "An-and you don't know where I live." She blinked at him for a moment. "Do you?"  

[Roccano]

Kai laughed and shook his head.
"Your right about that one, I dont know where you live."  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru arched an eyebrow. She was a bit confused, had she said yes? She didn't remember saying yes. She blinked at him. "Uh apartment 408 just around the corner from that ally." She answered automatically without really thinking about it. "You're rather odd."  

[Roccano]

Kai laughed and nodded.

"I get that a lot, and in case your wondering, you didnt say yes, or no for that matter."  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru blinked at him, more confused now that a few moments ago. "Which was it?" She asked him. "Did I say yes or no?" She didn't remember answering but that didn't mean she didn't.  

[Roccano]

Kai laughed and shook his head.
"You didnt answer at all, but I guess you telling me your address was a yes, so eight it is then."

Hotaru stared at him blankly for a moment. "Uh......" She rolled her brown eyes and went back to eating, simply letting the matter drop. It would be easiest on her brain at the moment.  

[Roccano]

Kai laughed lightly as he continued eating.
"Dont worry, youll like it."  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru shrugged. "I guess we'll see." She answered as she quickly ate. She finished her drink. "I should get home now. I have that test tomorrow so I should get plenty of sleep."  

[Roccano]

Kai smiled and nodded as he continued eating.

"Good luck."

Hotaru stood up and headed for the door. "Thanks for dinner." She called over her shoulder. She wasn't watching where she was going and ran into the door with a yelp. She laughed it off as one of the waiters helped her to her feet. Giggling and blushing madly at her own mistake she quickly ducked out of the doors and headed back the way she had walked with Kai.

Kai laughed lightly as he finished his food and then noticed her book on the table and sighed as he picked it up and looked inside to reveal her address.

"Well now, looks like she left something important over here.
Ill have to take it back to her tonight."

Hotaru was rummaging through her messenger bag as she walked and mumbling to herself. Where had she put her book? She couldn't remember. She had put her headphones back on and then went to put her nose back in her book only to realize she didn't have it. She sighed as she exited the ally and turned down the street automatically as she continued her search.  

[Roccano]

Kai finished eating and then left the restaurant and started walking towards Hotaru's house and then when he saw she wasnt there he started looking around the city for her with the book under his arm.

Hotaru pulled her keys out and let herself into her apartment. Every available space was overflowing with books and pieces of art or art supplies. There was a drafting table and a desk with a computer somewhere in the mess. The kitchen had only two sets of dishes in it. She needed to get groceries she should write it down so she doesn't forget. She quickly wrote it on a post it and stuck it to the door. There similar post it's all over the house to remind her of little things she always forgot.
