Starlit Jewel

Hello! I'm Amanda, known on Gaia as Jewel, and I got into Doctor Who by watching the last series - wasn't it fantastic? whee I'm not a nut for the show, which irritates my friends slightly as at lunchtimes in school, I've stopped talking to them and started reading Doctor Who Magazine and playing with my replica Sonic Screwdriver instead. sweatdrop I'm also determined to learn how to knit so that I can make myself a 12ft scarf. But if the worst comes to the worst, I'll just... I dunno... tie four 3ft ones together or something... sweatdrop

I've only seen a few of the older episodes; two with Tom Baker and one with Peter Davison. I loved them both! 3nodding

I also draw A LOT, so there'll probably be a fair bit of fanart being flung across space and time by myself! wink

Hi, I'm Gracey. Twenty years old and I've only been a fan since the series with Eccleston started on BBC last year, mostly because my parents never had any interest in the show and I didn't know anyone else who did.
I know bits and pieces of older doctors now, mostly thanks to my girlfriend, who's been a fan practically since birth, and find myself becoming a bigger and bigger fan.
I got one of the books when I was in London last February (still haven't been able to find any in Belgium Dx) and will definitely buy more when I go back this summer (it just fills in so many gaps and shows you a lot more of the characters than just the show).
I'm planning to write a letter to several of the actors (Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Billie Piper and John Barrowman) to get some of those neat autographed pictures, but I seem to have misplaced the adresses. xD

hi im laura, i've liked doctor who since the new series with christopher eggleson. I loved them so much that i started looking into doctor who and watching old episodes. Every doctor who episode that i have watched i have liked. I think my favourite Doctor might be Tom Baker but i'm not quite sure. I have read some of the books also, so old and some new and i have thought that they were brilliant as well!

hey, im laura, know to gaians as Skarta, (or is it the other way around) oh well, im a Lighting technician in my local theatre, Which is in Maesteg, about 45 min from cardiff, which is in Wales. I've been into doctor who scince early childhood, 3/4 when they played repeats of jon pertwee and tom baker, who im my opinion were the best doctors, although David tennant might just beat them this year. Im going to the regeneration covention in swansea in september, cant wait.
oh well hwyl (bye in welsh)

Hello! I'm Cup of Tea. I'm 14 years old and I first encountered the Doctor when I was 4. Back then I couldn't watch it that much because I was too stupid to figure out what time it was on (Actually I wasn't even sure what time was at that point) but when they started the new series of it I decided to start watching it again. I've seen all the episodes of the current series and am currently looking for some of the older episodes (Although I'm having little luck at the moment, but I have recently found them in a nearby store, Now I just need to raise enough money sweatdrop ). I can't really say I have a favourite version of the Doctor as personally I think they all had their good points although ,like most, I'm rather fond of 4th.

Other than Doctor Who, I'm into all sorts of things and I love to draw in my spare time (I've been drawing for as long as I can remember).

Hi there, I'm John.

I've always loved the Doctor; my mum and all her siblings all grew up with it so it's alwyas been around me.

My uncle works for the BBC Visual effects department so he worked a little on the Ecclestone series and more on the earlier series.

When I went to the BBC studios in 1993 to see him at work my mum and I found this old thing, abandoned in a corridor, no-one could bear to destroy it but equally, in 93 the chances of a new series were miniscule.

So um yeah.

Hope I'll have fun here.
