"It seems the bloodline has deluded over the centuries Metran...NOW FEEL THE WRATH OF A HUNDRED YEARS OF TORMENT IN HELL!"
Chryos started laughing before he spoke, even then his voice seeming to be disembodied. The sword in all its black power went straight through the flaming mass coming after the man, but as it passed the movement failed to cease. The frigid fireball only seemed to pick up speed as the blade went right through it...somehow either the blade had gone clean through the man and he kept going or NO! He wasn't inside of it at all. As the blade passed a small orb of ice inside would explode, the clone reverting to its original form after being engulfed in flame.
Suddenly and with little warning, just as the man threw his blade the real Chryos appeared behind him where he'd begun the throw. His energy was masked and for good reason, the true purpose of the attack was that of an ambush! As soon as he appeared there would be no waiting to land to attack, nor any wait at all, that would be too much time...Chryos unleashed a massive volley of punches upon the man in black with his left hand, landing at the ready and with his right held close to defend, just incase the Metran had somehow, for whatever reason, managed to avoid the now direct assault to his backside, while he was in the midst of throwing a sword. the only trace of him was his eyes, bright and shining, with the same blue glow from before.

If only it were that easy to catch him off guard. But Chryos failed to notice the small, darkening energy which still resided within the palm of the man's hand. In fact, if anything, Chros was helping him more then hurting him. With the arrow coming from behind him, the fireball from above, the blue fire from his left side, and the ice energy in front of him, a living shield would be sufficiant. As Chryos seemed to appear and attack, the man's left hand was already extended back, opened to receive the first punch. The moment it collided with the awaiting hand, the blackness immediately began to spread. His body swiftly became consumed with black, moving toward Chryos at the same time. No...he didn't simply move toward him, but through him, through his body. The dark man's entire form became an insubstantial, black figure falling back through Chryos' body. As he came through the otherwise, Chryos would feel the chill of his presence, the presence of a cruel, malicious soul, as well as the presence of his dark power. But it wasn't -just- the familiar shadow and black fire, but...something else...something also familiar yet...much more vague within him.
"Hearing you speak of me using the name Metran...only further proves your ignorance..." the whispered voice could be heard just as his right hand finished passing through, but not without leaving a trace of the dark behind. It would not be something immediately noticeable, but within Chryos there had been left very small slithers of the shadow that consumed the dark man. In moments they would begin to bind against Chryos' heart, his ribs, and other organs. This would not be fatal...but it would be painful, perhaps even distracting. As the man finished passing through Chryos, he turned his body once, stopping in a very low stance, then pushing off the ground with one foot. His form burst through the air just a few inches off the ground before becoming barely an after image. Several small bursts of the ground being cut apart could be seen as he reached the boy, Jacob, in a matter of moments. And in those few moments, he was there, behind the boy. Jacob would feel the man's hand clasp against the back of his head.
But what of Chryos? Well, with the bindings within his body slowly closing tighter, he might not have known about the arrow that had been fired at the man's back, the arrow now heading for Chryos with the gathered power of those who now tried to help Chryos, the blue fire from his side, and the fireball from above! The fire may very well react badly with Chryos' own ice power, or may simply stop it...but then again, that powerful arrow was still quite a problem. "Enough of this." Jacob would feel the heat from the man's hand rising, as if a warning of what could happen if he tried to resist any more. The sword? Well, it was back within his hand, having been called back from the air and flown directly into his awaiting right hand, then retracted into its scabbard. This was yet another ability that most might not be aware of that come from "His" bloodline. "Where...is...Yusake?" he didn't care what happened to Chryos, or to the boy, or anyone...but he did want to find Yusake. And if he had to, he would burn a hole straight through the kid's head to get what he wanted.

Two ravens, almost identical, both had sleek black feathers that shone when the hit them, both had dirty dull black beaks and beady eyes. But there was one difference between them, one had three white dots under its right eye making it stand out from the other. This raven with eyes scanned the courtyard, searching for anything vaguely interesting, lately Erikas days here had been less than exciting, but all that was about to change it seemed, as her cold gaze locked upon what looked like a fierce battle going on between powerful students. About bloody time. This peeked her interest, though getting involved in a batle that ahd already started was very boring and tiring for the battlers themselves, even though she desired a good fight herself, she would settle for watching and if need be help out if the time calls for it.
Folding her wings, sharply flew, slicing through the air towards a tree that stood overlooking the battle, the other raven following behind just as quick, grabbing themselves a front seat to sit and observe. You never know, perhaps one of these days she herself may have to deal with them. Landing on the branch she closed her wings and watched still in her lovely dark raven form, no point in giving herself away now is there.
