	Kerana noticed some sort of powder on her fingers it must have been from when she was playing with Alec's bangs a little to see his eyes. Could this be what's causing the enchantment? She could come up with a counter if she could figure out what the stuff was made of to begin with. Alec was always way better at identifying things by smell and taste if need be, not to mention identify what she needed in the forest. She took a sniff of it and noticed the potency for a moment but it wasn't enough to sway her train of thought, but perhaps because she was aware of it, analyzing it to begin with helped. She suspected there was a hint of lavender, which would tend to induce soothing. The rest seem a mix of really sweet smelling things which her little fox nose couldn't define so easily. Yet lavender,... that was a good starting point... something that would waken one up would combat that. Something citrus-y or even grounded up coffee beans. Kerana couldn't openly ask Alec or Nova at the moment, that would give the blonde a red flag for sure. The group arrived at the next town in the path that Alejandro's memory gem was leading them. Shara had pointed out to them that she didn't have any particular place to go she felt that she needed to be protected for a while until the fiends stop coming after her. Which was pretty much until she felt it was safe to walk around. In a sense these fiends had something to do with the necromancer and as long as his power remains intact darkness will continue to spread. The town they arrived in had better days but the people manage to get by. "Um... Lady Shara, perhaps it may be a good idea to spend the night here?" "You know I think you're right Karen. Let's stay over there." she pointed at a tavern/inn near by called the Lone Wolf's Inn. Shara was obviously terrible with names. If that's what she thinks your name is she pretty much stuck with it. However there are two names she never has mistaken, Trinity's name and the name of the necromancer. The name she dared not utter not even in her thoughts "You might feel at home there Alex."

	As they traveled he wondered how to get the information out of her that he needed. Somehow he was sure of it that she would do the same if she could. Or rather....when she could. The powder proved that fact. Good thing she did not yet know that she failed that objective. As long as Kerana kept Alec under control things were still in his favor. He knew of...other ways to get her to talk but his fear for his wife's wrath stopped him from that. She would prove to him that she was more than enough for him. Nova shifted his attention towards the Inn. "Ah..an Inn. My sweet Lady Shara if I could I would arrange for you to sleep in a palace. This place is below you. I am afraid there is little I can do for you here other than enjoying your company and keeping the wine flowing."

	Kerana got an idea, "If not a palace at least a room to yourself? Us three will be fine if we share a room. I most certainly wouldn't mind if you got a room to yourself m'lady." "Karen has a point I'll have a room to myself. I shall cover my own expenses."

	Shara was more right than she knew. Alec had always felt alone in his pack, and some people even called him Alex when they couldn't be bothered to remember his name. But at the time he could care less if she called him Alex or mud. "Yes Lady Shara. It sounds like a wonderful place." But then Kerana made the comment about sharing a room. Alec wasn't sure why, but that agitated him. He began to shuffle and fidget in place. The idea of being outside of Shara's gaze was making him incredibly anxious.

	Kerana noticed Alec fidgeting and shuffling. She knew it probably had something to do with Shara's enchanted powder, to help ease things a bit she suggested, "Perhaps Alec could be out in front of Shara's door guarding her. He'd be the last one to see her for the evening and the first one to gaze upon her... beauty in the morning. How does that sound Alec?"

	Alec's ears perked up and his anxiety was gone instantly. His tail wagged from side to side as he smiled. "That would be great. Thanks Kerana. He felt that weird phantom tug on his neck again. Alec's brow furrowed as he tried to figure out what it was. Memories flashed in his mind, but they were a jumble of images that made no sense. His wagging tail slowed a bit as he corrected himself. "I think perhaps it would be...best...if i took my station between your room and hers."

	"I would be more then happy to cover those expenses for you, my Lady." Nova said. "It would be my pleasure to keep you company this evening but if my Lady would prefer to be alone for the night I shall not mention it again." Alec could stay guard but Nova would prefer it if he stayed with Kerana. Perhaps that would snap him out of it. Seems that the trance is a whole lot harder to break on the opposite sex.

	Kerana smiled at Alec's thanks and even more so at the fact he suggested to guard both her and Shara. "Now I do appreciate your offer...very will you may cover the rooms..." she carressed his chin gently. "But I do need some time to myself. Alex here will be sufficient enough to guard me for the night." she said as she ruffled Alec's hair. The group made their way to their rooms for the night. Shara lingered as she entered her room to give the world one last chance to adore her beauty. Finally out of her presence, Kerana turned to Nova stuck her tongue out briefly. "Gag me...just who does she think she is anyway." she said quietly hoping she would not hear. She shifted her eyes toward Alec briefly. "Alright Nova let's head to bed, I'm beat..." she had to get through to Alec somehow... perhaps make him jealous? "It would ... uh... surely be nice to snuggle in your arms Nova." cat_4laugh

	Alec completely ignored Kerana's attempt at getting his attention. Right now the only thing that mattered to him was the personification of beauty next door. His tail wagged as he though of all the nice things he could do for her. How happy it would make her. Without even looking at his companions Alec said, "Um...I'm going to take my spot outside of the door. Don't bug me unless you're like, I dunno, dying or whatever." He picked up a chair from the nearby table and stepped outside of the room. After closing the door behind him Alec placed the chair against the wall between the two doors and took a seat. He surely wasn't going to let anything get Ms. Saria. No sir.

	Although her mind knows that its the powder talking. Yet her emotions felt the sting, especially since it took so long for him to share his secret. Along with that she realized she has feelings for him. Her eyes began to well, she softly let out, "Right Alec..." then she quickly went into the room Nova and her would be sharing and started crying softly.

	Even though he knew this was because of the powder, it didn't stop Nova from becoming downright pissed at his reaction. *Good job, you've made her cry again. That's the kind of guy you want to be?* Nova send to Alec as he shut the door. He then turned his attention to Kerana, poor thing. "Come here foxy." Nova said softly to Kerana as he gave her a hug.

	Kerana leaned toward his shoulder as he held her. sniff "I know I was trying to make him jealous... bu-but sniff that was to break the spell. My head knows that it's the powder talking ... but my heart... felt tho-those words sting." She sobbed a little more on his shoulder cat_crying When it seemed like the others have taken their positions for the night. Shara looks into the mirror. "Master, I summon thee..." she spoke the words of the simple incantation the necromancer taught her causing him to appear in the mirror. "I'm part of the party, just as you requested."

	Alec could feel Nova's distaste, but his words fell upon deaf ears. The necromancer's mask appears as wisps of smoke within the mirror. His voice was a terrible whisper that was somehow also loud to those who were under his command. "Well done Shara. What of the elf?"

	Nova gently placed his hand on her head." I know Kerana, it will wear off soon. I also thought something like that would at least shake him but it appears I was wrong. Perhaps it is good that Trinity and Alejandro haven't arrived. I will...keep her some company later see what I can pry out of her." "In the meantime..do not worry about Alec. If we can get his wolf spirit closer to him he might just snap out of it. So...your first home work assignment from me would be to find a mild form of sedative that induces a calm mind and causes mild hallucinations. If that doesn't give the spirit enough to by pass the problem then I am currently out of idea's."

	Kerana started to smile a little. Focusing on some way to break the hold the powder has over Alec was just what she needed. Then she realized something... "Nova... you mean... with all that flower talk" she rubbed the tears from her eyes ,"you're not under the powder's enchantment?" "Well done Shara. What of the elf?" She liked it when he was able to please him in some way. Yet seemed annoyed when she asked about...her. "I'm afraid she isn't with her party right now. Perhaps it would be for the best. The powder tends to be more effective on people who don't know me." she sighed a little, "Yet... I suspect they will be rendezvous with her at a later point. Is there anything you need me to do while I am among her party? I wouldn't mind finding some means of turning them against her."
