More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"Wait...you were ambushed? When was that?" Theo asked as he continued to listen.

"Yeah I noticed she was heavy but I can compensate." Theo responded. He was intrigued by the rock Thea had shot. Especially after what Gidget said. It gave him an idea.

"Ha, leave it to you to find something. Data on them from Daedelus? Even if it's something else, that would be great news. Maybe we can use Daisy for that. To give it a bit of a spin since it is her job." Theo said. Maybe it was wrong for him to say they could 'use' her but he would if he could.

"I stil want to go to that beach and help out. Maybe there is a small chance someone survived. I hope so anyway.I arranged for those choppers and delivered them right to him" He said in a bit of a sad tone. He felt responsible for what happened despite knowing it was out of his control

Gidget was just about to respond when there was a resounding crash at the door. She nearly hopped up into her seat as she looked up to see the imprint of a giant fist in the multiple layer steel door. Then another, and another, until it came crashing down.

The one responsible was an enraged princess whom demanded answers. Rydia's fists were glowing with the flaming blue spectral claws that were her namesake. She had left a small trail of no victim destruction in her wake as she searched for-

"Trinity! Where is Trinity?!" she demanded.

She laid her eyes on Gidget first, and then Theonis. She approached him menacingly, her teeth bared and her cat eyes contracted into furious slits.

"You, Overseer, your face is in every wing of this fortress. You have 3 seconds to explain what I just saw in the vision window." she growled.

The being looked around but mostly at the 4 girls. They were identical except for their source.

"Those four are also interesting. Clones but not perfect. Each connected to the source differently. Similar. But different.

"Legio. Not the name I would have given myself. I currently go without. But if you must use it to identify me, by all means, go ahead." Legio responded. From the ground up a simple chair seemed to form from the same materials are the ground. He sat down, hands folded on his lap. His hair slowly shifted from a silvery/white to a more blueish.

"This is out first time meeting like this but you smell...familiar. The air around you tastes like a memory. What is your name? I would give you mine but I have none."

The moment the first crash sounded the door, Theo was ready to fight. After all that has happened today it would not surprise him that Eclipse would strike again. He was ready to lop of the intruder's head before he saw who it was.

He took a deep breath. This was one of people from the island. Rydia if he recalled correctly. They didn't speak properly yet because of the chaos before. But...vision window? A tv?

"Trinity is out for the moment. She will return shortly." He responded to her first question. He remained firm in his posture but his voice was not as firm in his next sentence." Rydia, what you saw...was real. I'm sorry but you have to believe me. We did not shoot them down. Please, calm down." He stated. Part of him knew she wouldn't and he was ready to retaliate should she do something but he hoped she wouldn't.

"Operation ELE? Final move?" she was hoping it was something more related to her parents but since Damien pointed out that it was something bigger this may have to take priority. "What is Operation ELE? What are they trying to do?"

"ELE means Extinction Level Event. Their intent is to wipe meta-human existence from the face of the Earth, starting with America's Meta safe haven: Valhalla."

He stopped again, but this time as though he had heard something. He looked to Deora and whispered, "Someone is coming. Is there someplace to hide?"

"This was supposed to be the place to hide!" Deora said, frustratedly raising her arms to indicate the room. "I don't have anywhere else to hole up. I never let anyone follow me here, and if they did, the plan was to fight or keep moving until I lost them, then find a new place. but I didn't have one planned out."

She took a breathe, let it out. There was no reason to panic, just someone out to kill them. Panicking wouldn't solve that. "It's a concrete building. There are no gaps in the walls, no utility spaces, we can't even go room-to-room without going into the hallway. There's the fire escape, but that's it."

Rydia, what you saw...was real. I'm sorry but you have to believe me. We did not shoot them down. Please, calm down." He stated. Part of him knew she wouldn't and he was ready to retaliate should she do something but he hoped she wouldn't.

Rydia clenched her fists and growled, "You're sorry?! I have to believe you."

The spectral claws surrounding her fists began to develop arms, and then a torso, until there was a ghostly upper body overlapping her own. It looked like some sort of glowing were-tiger that copied all of her motions and expressions.

"My father, my mother, and now my people. I'm all that's left. Now it is my responsibility to seek vengeance. You think you're scared now, Overseer, you have yet to know-"

Her rant was cut short when a feathered dart struck her in the neck. She fell to the ground almost immediately, dismissing the ghostly apparition.

Gidget lowered her hand, which was closing a port that had released a tranquilizer. She sighed, "It's a good thing she likes to talk. Who the Hell is she?"

Eclipse leaned back in his chair and studied the being in front of him. "You may call me Dusk for the time being, and the reason I call you Legio is because you are what is left of the collective unconscious that was Legion. Shane Morris may have successfully restored the minds of those people, but it left you. I'm honestly surprised you don't know this."

He then leaned forward and taunted, "Could it be that you were born, a month ago, knowing nothing? Must be frustrating, being ignorant of the world around you while simultaneously being a god among ants."

Damien was about to answer when the sound of reverberating footsteps echoed down the outside of the room. He tried again to get a read on the person that was approaching them, but there was nothing there. He could fell them, but he couldn't get into their head.

The footfalls stopped for a moment. The silence was broken by the sound of a wall falling apart. It wasn't destroyed or cut, it just seemed to age and fall apart.

On the other side of the wall was a young man, about the age of Kerana and Deora, was wearing a worn out jump suit and a mask. The design on the mask was that of a skeletal hand positioned in the center and encompassing the entire front.

The boy glared at the three in front of him, but he seemed to be taken aback when he saw Kerana. His head titled curiously as he tried to piece together what he was feeling.

Outside of the squatter building were several squads of Daedalus soldiers that were surrounding the buidling in the case that the three targets inside attempted to flee from the experiment that went inside.

One of the soldiers on lookout spotted Trinity and Ako. He got on the radio and warned the others about the approaching threat. They leaned against the wall and activated a sort of adaptive camouflage that made them virtually invisible to anyone that wasn't looking too carefully. They waited for the moment to ambush two high threat targets.

Theo was going to respond before Rydia basically dropped to the floor thanks to a little dart. Then looked back at Gidget who was responsible.

"Yeah about that, I've yet to properly talk to her but that's Rydia. Currently....our only survivor. I'm guessing Liv or Trinity took her here before hand." Theo took a deep breath." Maybe Freya knows more. How long does this stuff work for?"

Legio cocked his head a little as his expression remained neutral.

"I made no mention of not knowing. I know where I am from. Do you often assume things when faced with minimum knowledge? From my limited experience that is not what smart men do. We all come into this world knowing nothing. Do you not know this?" His tone was neutral as was his expression. No, that wouldn't be correct. His expression was more surprised. He was being honest but it could be perceived as mocking.

Gidget teeter tottered her hand and said, "Eh, about five or so minutes depending on body mass. She's pretty fit so probably closer to five."

She looked over at the door, and then back to Rydia. "That's one wild power. A tangible manifestation of spectral energy. I've never seen anything like it."

She then looked over at the sleeping Thea and shook her head. "I can't believe she's still asleep. But then again it's probably due to her rapid aging. She must have to sleep most of the day."

Legio cocked his head a little as his expression remained neutral.

"I made no mention of not knowing. I know where I am from. Do you often assume things when faced with minimum knowledge? From my limited experience that is not what smart men do. We all come into this world knowing nothing. Do you not know this?" His tone was neutral as was his expression. No, that wouldn't be correct. His expression was more surprised. He was being honest but it could be perceived as mocking.

Eclipse laughed a hardy and slighty unhinged laugh. "Ah hah! And the kid's got the gift of snark. I was mearly seeing how far you've come along with deductive reasoning, pragmatism, and knowledge. It is much easier to converse with someone if they don't worship some book or storm cloud."

"But enough with the side bar. How about we get down to the meat of this meeting? You came because you were curious about me. So, what would you like to know?

"It's always a mystery isn't it? What powers you get from the meteor. Or Hell Star shards, or whatever the hell we call em now. Whatever happened to normal radiation from the meteors. No Ancient monsters or worlds. Can we go back to that? This feels too much out of my league." Theo sighed

He looked back at Thea. "She did exhaust herself. But that aside, I'm sorry but I need to ask. Are you...by any chance..pregnant?"

Legio gave a small smile and nod at 'Dusk's comment on his response.

"I do hope you'll find my responses up to par. It is as you said. I am after all, only a month old."

"I could start with humankind's greatest question. Why? Why do you seem familiar? Why are you not feel like the others? Why do you kill or order death on such grand scale? Why create these girls? Why are you not giving your real name?" Legio asked, stating the numerous questions he had.

" But perhaps I should begin with, what are you?"
