Ako sensed a burst of radio in the air, followed by the muffled clatter of magazines being swapped in rifles. It sounded as though the soldiers were no longer interested in bringing them in alive. That would make things more difficult. With his only defense being offense, he fired off a bolt of lightning towards the soldiers, and rolled to take cover behind a dumpster. An alleyway was a poor location for a one-sided gunfight. He realized that this was how shooting gallery targets must feel.
The bolt of lighting hit one soldier directly in the chest, detonating the grenades attached to his vest. The explosion took out the 3 soldiers within the kill zone and caused the others to scatter and seek cover.

Deora racked her brain for escape routes, hiding places, and anything that would aid their escape. While she'd been living in Valhalla, she'd neglected to keep that information fresh in her mind. Now, she was drawing a blank. It didn't help that this guy could apparently just go through any walls they put between them. "I got nothing, kid. If he found us at my place, another hiding place won't do any good. We can either run down the street and hope help finds us, or run through the alleys and try to stay out of sight. You're the genius, don't you have a plan?"
He looked directly into Deora's eyes and nodded, "I do. I can fully open your source and give you the full extent of your power. What would've taken you years of maturation and practice will be achieved in seconds. I believe your power could trump his if it were stronger."
"But without your permission and willingness I could really hurt you, or worse. I need your complete and unquestioned trust.

Kerana was stunned that he seem to know her name. This totally flipped her world upside down I-I have a brother?! She really felt that she needed to know more. What on earth have they done to them?. She looked to her friends, it looked like they were trying to come up with some idea she decided not to interrupt them and let this news sink in.
The boy was waiting for an answer. "Yes. I'm Kerana. What's your name?"
"Decay." the boy answered flatly.
"Mother talks about you. A lot. Whenever they let me see her. She also cries. A lot. She hates me. But she still talks to me. She calls me a monster. She's right. I destroy anything I come close to. She said you bring life and love. I don't know what those are."

"Y'ello!" Alexavier answered." Gidget! I was wondering when you'd call. It's been too long." There was a brief pause." You're not calling for me, are you?
She was about to confirm his question when she remembered the full extent of his powers.
"Actually, you might be able to help me too. I've got a girl here that weighs a lot more than she looks like she should. She's sleeping, and I don't want to wake her. I've got a lot of work to do so I can't keep an eye on her. Do you think you could come here and lift her with your telekinesis, or maybe Cassandra could carry her? Theonis said she might be interested on account she loves kids and all."
"Ah, yeah his little sister. Well...she's not completely unrelated to you, is she? Both of the girls have already seen Cassandra. I think they'd be fine.She'd be a fine babysitter. I'll wake her up and send her your way. She'd kill me if she found out I accidentally bumped her head or something."Alexavier responded

Legio seemed to be in thought. It was clear that Dusk would be using him and there was no guaranty that he actually had the answers. But it was an interesting proposal. It would be intriguing to see how people react when placed in a different world.
"Oh I am far from prude. Just faithful." Theo commented. He couldn't help but smile a bit after seeing her reaction. Taking another glance at his phone he saw where he needed to go.
"You're going to love this next part." He smirked to himself and both shot off into the distance towards their destination. Using his powers the way he always had. To create a little shield in front of the eyes so they could see properly.

Sil, their goal is to prevent us from getting to those 3 kids. I fear they are in danger... are you able to check on them and assist?
Silhouette went silent for a few seconds as she considered what Trinity just asked of her.
"...Yes. All you need do is give me permission to leave your side within the shadow realm, but there is a danger in this. The farther I am from you, and the longer I am separated from you, the more likely I am to lose my sanity. If we do this, it must be quick, and I must be allowed to make our separation as short as possible. That means killing if need be."
Trinity was hoping to be more efficient with little to no consiquences. Unfortunately this one should not be taken lightly. As much as she wanted to take advantage of this ability, there was too much risk and unknown variables to consider. The last thing she needed was for her to go insane, facing Daedalus troops and whatever else Eclipse has in mind.
I guess I'll pass on that for now.
She needed to find another way. Perhaps find a better way to take out the troops. Since their camouflage was off she figured she could take advantage of their shadows. Trinity saw Ako take down 3 at once, then head down an alley. Perhaps a good idea if guns weren't involved to take them out one by one. She hoped to help level the playing field. She used the shadows of those troops to form a doppelgänger of herself in the line of sight. She covered her mouth, her voice came from the direction of the shadow golem, "Hey! Looking for something?"
When their attention was drawn she dropped down into her shadow and started sharply hitting the pressure points that would disable their arm that was holding the gun. As the guns dropped to the ground they fell into their own shadows and were sent to Gidget's lab in a pile in the corner where she would enter in.
"Ako! I'm going after the kids! I'll be back!"
Hopefully this was enough for Ako can now handle on his own. She dropped through her shadow again.

I have to admit I really was tempted to let Sil loose just to see what she ends up doing. I can did a whole long post going that direction. But after writing it, it still didn't feel right.

Kerana's ears lowered to hear how her mother treated Decay. It's not like he asked to be this way, to have such a power. Yet this got her thinking.
Her mother has probably gone through a lot, odds are Decay wasn't the son she intended to have. If anything that was forced upon her leading her to not give the guy a chance, even though he had no choice in the matter either. Regardless she could understand why she wanted to dismiss him as her son. To separate herself from someone, or something she simply did not want to understand because of the trauma it may caused her.
On the other hand she wondered if it was something else. She remembered the last time she saw her. They were at the doctor's office when they were attacked, kidnapped and separated. The reason they were at the doctor to begin with was to find out if there was any way to reverse the effects of the meteor. She had missed a lot, from cheerleading practice, to student government meetings, and let's not forget school. At the time they were uncertain how the school would handle a girl with fox ears and a tail. But after hearing what Decay said she started to wonder if her mother would think of her differently because she still had the ears and tail of a fox, or would she long for the Kerana before the meteor affected her.
Either way she was determined to find out what happened to her mom and her dad. Even if they don't want her as she is now. "I'm sorry you had to endure all of that, Decay. You may be granted a power to destroy but that doesn't make you a monster. Whatever you decide to do with it determines that, not the power itself. If you can take me to her, it may make her smile. She may change her mind about you."

Gidget grumbled and reached behind her neck with her free hand. She had forgotten to turn her psychic dampener on earlier, and she hated it when Alexavier read her mind without permission.
"Y'know, I hate it when you do that. At least Sh-...Damien has the decency to ask first."
"Please ask Cassandra to hurry. I have very little time to waste. I have to synthesize a cure for cancer." she urged.

Eclipse turned around and raised an eyebrow. "Huh...that is not what I was expecting at all. Just like that?" he asked.
Meanwhile, Freya had infiltrated the makeshift zone shortly after the fight. She was hunkered down atop one of the highest floating cubes, watching and listening to what was going down. She was in full ready to murder regalia, complete with facemask and lacquered sticks holding her hair up. Clutched in her right hand was the fragment that she had taken from the lab. It was sharpened and ready to be driven into Eclipse's stupid brain. She just had to wait for the right opportunity.

She was astounded at their speed, but she was confused by the shield in front of them. Could they have...?
"Is that a mach cone? Did you break the sound barrier? How are we not being sheered by the wind? How does this work? By the Gods I have so many questions!" she rambled excitedly. The situation was most certainly not making her less attracted to the man.
Theo was just smirking. Her reactions were quite fun to watch.
"No, but I can. But we are already here." Theo said as they begun to slow down. "If it was further away then I could have done that." When they stopped they made their descent.
