He looked directly into Deora's eyes and nodded, "I do. I can fully open your source and give you the full extent of your power. What would've taken you years of maturation and practice will be achieved in seconds. I believe your power could trump his if it were stronger."

"But without your permission and willingness I could really hurt you, or worse. I need your complete and unquestioned trust.

She closed her eyes and took a breath. When she opened her eyes again, their determined look could have turned their watery blue to ice. She nodded to Damien.

"Do it."

Rikki Tikki Travi

Without a moments hesitation, Damien reached out and took hold of Deoras wrist. There was a strange sensation as his hand physically became one with her arm. Her source was easy to find after the numerous awakenings he had performed, but there was something different about this.

Deora's connection to her source was immense.

The air around them began to waver, chill, vaporize, and swirl. Damien could feel his own internal fluids fluctuate.

A wavering visage began to take shape behind Damien. It was vaguely humanoid, and the voice suggested it was male.

"Fear not, child. I am only visible to you, and I mean no harm. I am the lingering spirit of Rheum, aspect of Water's Adaptation. You now possess the power to do anything you want to the water around you. The water in a drink, the atmosphere, even blood can be heated, cooled, or moved at your whim."

"Something is coming. Something that threatens all life on this planet and beyond. You are now prepared to do your part in the coming fight."

The visage dissipated and Damien let go of Deora. He was looking at her with dumbfounded shock. Her awakening was only the third to feel similar to that. The other two were Heather and Theonis. But there was something different. He could almost sense a fourth person in the room with them.

After taking a second to collect himself he looked to Deora and said, "Show him what you can do."

Trinity watch from within the shadows and wanted to simply grab them, drop them off with Gidget and go help Ako. But based on Deora's decision and Damien obliging her request. If things turned south she would initiate her original plan.

She was able to sense a presence and Silhouette filled her in on who it was and what it was saying.

[[OOC: Rikki Tikki Travi if I need to take out that last part feel free to let me know]]

After taking a second to collect himself he looked to Deora and said, "Show him what you can do."

Even with her resolve, Deora felt a bit of fear as Damien grabbed her wrist, and as his hand melded with it. She could feel something passing through her, and felt the air fluctuate around her. Except it wasn't the air she was feeling, it was the vapor inherently suspended in it. She felt as though she could manipulate it with barely a thought, and that feeling of power calmed her. She was no longer the weak little girl that was kicked out of her family's home, she could control one of the very elements around her.

It was with this calm that she regarded the figure appearing behind Damien. She accepted that he meant no harm, and that what he was saying was the truth. The only thing that worried her now was the news of something that threatened all life. Even with his assurance that she was prepared, wondered if that was as truthful as his other statements. She pushed that worry aside. She'd survived this much. She was strong before, and so much stronger now. She could survive whatever was coming next.

As the visage faded and Damien released her arm, a confident, almost feral grin spread across her face, baring her teeth as she turned to face the threat. She was going to have fun practicing what she could do to him. Her grin faded a but as she finally noticed how scared Kerana seemed. "It's okay, Kerana. He just unlocked my full potential. Now I can take car of that Decay creep. How should I do it?"

The lightning easily arched from one trooper to another since they were ill prepared to deal with a lightning meta. The remaining soldiers tried in vain to maintain their aim, but the explosion and sparks made it impossible.

However, it didn't take long for reinforcements to arrive with riot shields. The tempered glass didn't conduct the lightning, and they steadily made their approach with batons at the ready.

The riot shields threw Ako for a loop at first. His first instinct was that they were the Plexiglas models, which conducted static quite nicely. When his bolts deflected to nearby conductors like exposed conduits and dumpsters, he knew he was in trouble. There were still no ranged weapons in sight, so he started to cautiously backpedal towards the end of the alleyway. When he hit the street, he have more room to act, and might even be able to get around these goons to meet up with the others.

As he moved, he tried to curve his bolts around the shields, if only to keep the soldiers tucked behind the glass and slow their movements. Even though lightning almost never traveled in a straight line in nature, Ako was having trouble getting enough of a curve to wrap around the shields. He must be getting out of practice.

Legio shot out a powerful telekinetic blast and straight out destroyed a large chunk of that building. As he continued to run debris from the building stop in mid-air and launched towards Freya.

Freya frantically attempted to dodge the fly debris by launching herself farther up the building, but she didn't have eyes in the back of her head.

A large piece made hit her squarely in the back and blew her through the decayed wall of the office. She plowed through a few more walls, tables, and desks before finally coming to a stop near the opposite end of the building.

She laid still for a second as she gathered her senses and caught her breath. "Okay. Now it's time for ninja tricks." she grumbled.

She concentrated and slid back into her own shadow while leaving a copy of herself behind. The copy looked badly wounded. She stayed right behind it within the shadows so as to make it seem like she was still in the normal plane.

Legio leaped into what remained of the building. His footsteps still heavy. With normal strides he moved towards Freya. Or what seemed to be her. Ako's ability told him that it was a fake. So did Annie's power. He could not sense any liquid nor electricity in what was shaped as Freya. But most importantly...Trinity's power over shadows told him all he needed to know.

While he walked over to Freya's attempted trap, he extended his arm. From the palm of his burst out a blade that pierced the copy but dove into the shadow as well.

Maybe she's said too much already. Gidget would definitely be creeped out if she started calling herself that.

"Maybe I'll tell you later. But for now, maybe just call yourself Thea Acula."

"Ok then." she sighed.

When they got closer to Cassandra's dorm, Thea began to recognize where she was.

"Oh, this is where I woke up earlier. That nice man made Theresa calm so I could come out."

"Any form of pressure is mine to control. I should be able to crush it under it's own weight. But let's start with the knees." Theo responded and focused his power on the knees of this thing. It felt a bit odd because it wasn't as even as a person felt. Some parts where hollow while the other were dense.

The creature fell to the ground, howling many voices and lashing out with it's many appendages.

Ravan clenched her teeth and jumped. In midair, something seem to snatch her and pull her just over the creature. She adjusted her position in midair and tapped the top of the thing with her index finger. Her trajectory changed and threw her downward once she was over the creature. She landed on her feet with a hard skid, and an even harder look.

There was a low rumble. The creature was finding it difficult to move it's arms. There then came a resounding crash as the pavement beneath it gave way into a small crater. It's cries grew more desperate and intense as it began to press into the crater as though a giant plate was slowly pressing down on it. The bones cracked, limbs dropped, and in a few seconds the things was a flattened fleshy mass with twitching limbs and eyes in the center of the crater.

Ravan ran for the tear and yelled out, "I'm going back for him. Check the kids for any possible wounds made by that thing."

She hopped into the time rift and was gone from sight.

Decay finally made his way through the crumbling wall and grinned sardonically as he approached the trio.

Damien shuffled away and yelled, "Do anything that can stop his movement!"

Kerana's ears slopped down as she looked at her. She wasn't sure what to expect with that feral grin of hers. But her words comforted her, as well her concern for the fox girl which was enough to establish that Deora was still herself.

She let out a sigh of relief. "I-I don't know... just don't kill him. We don't need to stoop to his level nor get blood on your hands. Do you think you could push him back with the debris? Some how trap him in ice… no he can easily destroy that perhaps something softer? Perhaps a water sphere? If he can't affect his surroundings then we may be able to take him with us to see if we can question him further." She rubbed her head at the last part. Although this was her first lead to finding her parents, she wasn't sure it was a good idea. Taking this dangerous meta to a place where he could destroy Valhalla. "Actually on second it may be best to leave him in a bubble. Then we make our escape."

With time in shadow realm moving faster, she was able to see the blade coming at her just as it pierced the shadows. She raised her hands and summoned her silver aura, but not before the lade pierced both of them like a kebab. She cried out and attempted to pull back from the blade, but her aura was keeping it stuck in place.

Thinking that throwing lightning was the meta's only trick, one gun-ho soldier charged at Ako with his shield raised and ready to knock the spark plug over.

Theonis saw her weird display of power. It seemed as if something big and invisible picked her up and tossed her over that thing. Certainly looked interesting but he was sure he could have done the same thing to that ...beast. He just hoped it was enough to kill it.

Wounds from that thing? It's infectious?

"Got it!"

Theo backed out of the room whilst keeping an eye on what's left of that creature.

"Did ya get that Rydia? Check them for wounds caused by that thing. Any way you could use that eye of yours?"

Legio hit Freya. Of this he was certain. What he did not expect was for his blade to be stuck but this worked just as well. Retracting the blade he intended to pull her out of the shadows along with it. Electricity ran through the blade as he did it.

"Surely this is not everything you are capable of Freya."
