"Come on, please, talk to me," she begged in her musical voice. Kazuya opened his eyes and smiled. "Hello my lovely wife, today's menu is chocolate spaghetti" He was still a little dazed from the attack then shaked his head. "Ok! What hit me?" Nimia didn't smile. "For one, I am not your wife. I am your girlfriend. And you got hit with a vase. For kissing Sumire," she spat. "Now you are going to tell me exactly what the hell is going on before I have a heartattack." He took off his shirt and showed her the mark. "..........I'm infected by the devil gene virus..........I have to go tomorrow or marry for it to stop......" Nimia stared at the mark, her hand hovering over it. Her jaw dropped, as she began shaking slightly again. She lowered her hand back to her side and swallowed, hard. "I'm sorry," she said, almost inaudibly, "I just can't go through getting married right now, not even to save you." She looked down. "I know, I'm horrible."
He smiled at her "That what I wanted you to do, it's ok I promise." Suddenly death was holding a scythe to his neck

Another girl appreared with a scythe at hand and said."I'm hear to retrieve someone......"  Sumire looked at her. "Yami! What the hell! I was going to bring you here later!" She looked at her with an emotionless expression. "You cannot control death's fate you may control everyone elses but not mine. I am here on behalf of the others. I am here to retrieve Kobayashi Ryo" Alena jumped inbetween Yami and Sumire proclaiming, "I may not know who or what you are, but I do know that this is where I can best interviene!" Yami looked at Alena with an emotionless expression. "You do not want to play with death I can guarantee you, I will be victorious. Now move or your head will be rolling....." Sumire pounced Yami. "Yami dammit! I don't need you here! The ball is tomorrow and he is still himself!" Yami did not resist but just laid there. "Still Kobayashi Ryo is infected and must be taken immediately..." Sumire yelled at her. "Listen to yourself! You make him sound like one of your victims!!!" "Nimia, can I borrow your amulet? I may need it." Alena said to Nimia, not turning her gaze from Yami. Yami pushed Sumire off and jumped up to the student lounge. The glass broke and she stood up holding her scythe to Kazuya's neck. ".......Kobayashi Ryo...........I have come for you.."
Quickly following, Alena kicked away the sythe, careful to not kill Kazuya with it. |

Nimia screamed and fell backwards as she appeared. The pendent she had become accoustomed to carrying around fell out of her pocket onto the floor. |

Nimia fell to the ground on her hands and knees, taking in deep lungfuls of air. Her vision gradually returned to normal, having almost gone completly black before. "Kazuya!" she managed to mutter, but started coughing violently, still having not recovered form almost being choked to death. |

Yami glared at Alena. ".............you are a very annoying cat......why don't you go eat you little cat food and go away. You must be an insignificant stray." She took hold of Kazuya's hand. "We are leaving." Sumire appeared. "He's not going anywhere Yami! I went to check if you were telling the truth and you were mistaken. You are to come for him after the ball!" Yami let go of his hand. "........now that I think about it I was told to stay and observe him........." She put her scythe away. "...................This was entertaining..........it was worth it........" |

Nimia, by then, had barely managed to get up. She slowly walked to Alena and put a hand on her arm. "Calm down," she whispered. "She's Death, you don't want to anger her." Nimia went into another short coughing fit. Yami's choking obviously let side affects after she was done. |
