More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"Nice man..."Cassandra repeated the words." I think you're the only one who's ever called him that."

Cassandra shifted Thea in her arms so she could more easily open the door.

"Look who's back. Did ya meet your brother?" Alexavier asked as they entered. Cassandra kept walking until she reached the couch on which she put Thea down on.

Decay finally made his way through the crumbling wall and grinned sardonically as he approached the trio.

Damien shuffled away and yelled, "Do anything that can stop his movement!"

Kerana

Kerana's ears slopped down as she looked at her. She wasn't sure what to expect with that feral grin of hers. But her words comforted her, as well her concern for the fox girl which was enough to establish that Deora was still herself.

She let out a sigh of relief. "I-I don't know... just don't kill him. We don't need to stoop to his level nor get blood on your hands. Do you think you could push him back with the debris? Some how trap him in ice… no he can easily destroy that perhaps something softer? Perhaps a water sphere? If he can't affect his surroundings then we may be able to take him with us to see if we can question him further." She rubbed her head at the last part. Although this was her first lead to finding her parents, she wasn't sure it was a good idea. Taking this dangerous meta to a place where he could destroy Valhalla. "Actually on second it may be best to leave him in a bubble. Then we make our escape."

Deora didn't really like just stopping the guy, when it would be so easy to just eliminate the threat once and for all, but there wasn't time to argue at the moment. First things first. With an sharp upward motion of her arm, a water main broke under the sidewalk behind Decay. A column of water rose to tower above him before crashing around him. With a flick of her wrist and a clenched fist, Deora froze the water into a sphere around Decay.

Now that she had time to think, thoughts flashed through her mind of all the ways she could end the threat right then and be done with it. Ice spikes, freeze his blood, ice spikesin his blood.

She shook her head, bringing up her other hand to rub at her temple. That wasn't her. She wasn't evil. This guy wasn't a threat anymore, and he seemed important to her friend. She relaxed her hands, and the sphere remained solid. Her physical movements felt superfluous now, but it might be a hard habit to break.

"Now what's the plan?" She asked her friends, not taking her eyes off her sphere.

((Let me know if that was God mode at all. I'll try to tweak faster than I reply.))

Thinking that throwing lightning was the meta's only trick, one gun-ho soldier charged at Ako with his shield raised and ready to knock the spark plug over.

The charge was unexpected, but Ako had a flash of brilliance as the soldier rushed him. He was sure he was still faster than a normal human, especially one in armor and carrying a riot shield. So long as his reflexes didn't fail him, he would sidestep the soldier at the last moment, grab and twist the shield, which should send the soldier sprawling. Then he could launch another bolt at his buddies through the hole he'd left in the line.

"Now what's the plan?" She asked her friends, not taking her eyes off her sphere.

A voice from behind them spoke as its owner emerged from their shadows, "You're coming with me back to Valhalla. Gidget has personally requested that I bring you guys back. She seemed awfully worried." She looked at the sphere then to Deora, "I saw the whole thing, you have unlocked your source and seemed to have diffuse the situation quite well. Good work." she grinned.

Her shadow linked with their's and they dropped through and emerged in Valhalla. "Hey Gidget! They're back! I've got to go back and help Ako I'll be back as soon as that is addressed."

She dropped through her shadow and stayed in Ako's shadow to observe what was going on.

Theonis saw her weird display of power. It seemed as if something big and invisible picked her up and tossed her over that thing. Certainly looked interesting but he was sure he could have done the same thing to that ...beast. He just hoped it was enough to kill it.

Wounds from that thing? It's infectious?

"Got it!"

Theo backed out of the room whilst keeping an eye on what's left of that creature.

"Did ya get that Rydia? Check them for wounds caused by that thing. Any way you could use that eye of yours?"

"Yeah, but only for a bit longer. Use it too much and I go blind permanently."

She slid the cover from her eye and did her best to keep from making eye contact with any of the other children. She scanned silently until coming upon a teenager that was huddled in a corner away from the others. Her eye saw that there was something wrong, but she had never seen anything like it before.

She approached him cautiously so as to not startle him. She slid the cover back over her eye and asked, "Hey kid, are you alright?"

The boy turned his head and glared at her. Without provocation or warning, he leaped at Rydia with the intention of eating her.

Her training kicked in immediately, she swung her foot up and kicked the boy in the jaw. She then caught him in mid air with a spirit hand and slammed him into a wall.

Legio hit Freya. Of this he was certain. What he did not expect was for his blade to be stuck but this worked just as well. Retracting the blade he intended to pull her out of the shadows along with it. Electricity ran through the blade as he did it.

"Surely this is not everything you are capable of Freya."

Freya's clone dissipated as she was brought up screaming from the shadow realm. She coughed up smoke and grinned at Legio.

"Why doncha put me down and find out?" she quipped. It felt like her body was burning from the inside out, but she had to hold on a little longer.

There was just one problem. There were snipers in place, and now they didn't have to worry about hitting their own men. They began to line their sites on Ako.

Just like that Legio detached part of his blade to put her down. He couldn't fully retract it due to the silver aura so this would have to do.

"Very well. Proceed." It said in it's neutral voice.

"I'll keep that in mind." He responded to her comment about her eye. It certainly was a useful power but it seemed it came at a high price.

Theo kept an eye out on the remains of that monster. The only thing that took his eyes off of it was the fact that a young boy seemingly without reason jumped at Rydia wanting to...bite her? Luckily she knew how to fight him off but it confirmed something in his mind as well.

"s**t...I think he's infected. That's why she wanted us to check for wounds. Keep him there until she get's back."

As they arrived in Gidget's laboratory, Deora asked, "So What's going on?" but Trinity was gone again before she could finish. Instead, she turned to Gidget for answers.

Ako had indeed sent the soldier sprawling, and his bolt of lighting penetrated the hole left by the head strong FNG. It struck another soldier and sent the arc going through the puddle that had been left by the rushing water. In one attack, Ako had managed to incapacitate the entire ground team.

There was just one problem. There were snipers in place, and now they didn't have to worry about hitting their own men. They began to line their sites on Ako.

Trinity saw what happened and knowing the typical procedures she confirmed that there were snipers on the roof. She block led all the guns she could currently sence, using her shadow manipulation to seal the barrels and would prevent the from shooting.

Around Ako shadows came together to form an orb encasing him. She emerged behind him and said,"Do not be alarmed." She held his hand and then they sunk through the shadow and into the realm of shadows then into Gidget's lab. Looks like the snipers no longer have a target.

"Hey Gidget, special delivery."

Well, that worked better than expected. Wherever that water came from, it was welcome. He stood there a moment to assess the situation. That had been the hairiest fight he'd been in in years. While he wasn't out of breath, he was breathing hard, and he could smell wafts of smoke drifting up from the singed ends of his jacket sleeves. He tried to listen for more radio chatter, but Trinity reappeared and encased him in shadow before he could. He let out a sigh and tried to relax his nerves as they arrived in Gidget's lab.

Thea winced as she was placed down on the couch. Her body still ached from the attack that destroyed Gidget's lab.

"Mfph...Yea. He's as nice as Daddy says he is. He wasn't even mad at me after the first girl blew up the room we were in."

Without warning, Ravan burst through the rift with a young man in tow. She landed hard and yelled out, "Digit, close it!!!"

Almost after she was done shouting, a misshapen flesh limb that was as large as the creature that was laying in a pool of it's own goo breached the rift.

The hologram disappeared, and the little ball it came from began to wobble and make a bevy of chirping and clicking noises. The rift closed with a thunderous crack and severed the limb that had peeked through. It fell to the ground hard and kicked up a wave of dust.

Ravan had laid the young man that came through with her on the ground gently. That was in great contrast to how she shook him a moment later.

"Damnit! Open your eyes you idiot! You're not allowed to die yet!"

He stirred slightly, the pain of being shook causing him great discomfort. He was bruised and bloody, but in no way cut. The young man's eyes fluttered open and he looked around the room. His gaze stopped on Theonis. inhaled slowly and mouth something impossible to hear.
