More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Deora didn't really know what to do with herself as Ms. Gidget broke the bad news to Kerana. She wanted to hug the poor fox girl, but with her in a seat, and Ms. Gidget already comforting her, she woud just be awkwardly in the way. Instead, she took a cue from Ms. Gidget's boyfriend and stood quietly by, letting the moment play out. The only difference between them being that she clasped her hands in front of herself, while Mr. Boyfriend had his in his jacket pockets.

She worried about Damien's offer. He'd shown how much he was willing to use his gifts earlier. Without much effort, she could now sense the bloodflow of everyone around her. What would he do with Kerana and Alec's body? Was he about to ressurect him? Read his last thoughts? Channel his spirit and give her a final conversation with the deceased? Deora looked to the boy, knowing she couldn't read him as well as he could her, but still trying to figure out if some Ouija stuff was about to go down.

Theo just realized that his call was a bit one-sided but it was the fastest way he knew of. Shortly after that he got her text. He wasn't a fan of using them. While he was reading he noticed that a lot can go down in an hour. Not like he was one to talk as he just found out he had a sister and that the multiverse is a thing. So much has happened today and most likely still is going to happen today. Which made him think of something else. Theo felt like he needed a break but most of all, Trinity. Maybe take her out somewhere nice? Just a calm, relaxing evening.

He responded to her text.

"A lot has happened it seems. The people I'm with right now are....from a alternate future. It sounds strange but it will all be explained when we arrive. That aside, how are you holding up? It's been a rough month for you. Both of us. You want to eat out tonight? We could use a bit of relaxation."

Legio knew what could happen when the two aura's merged but did not expect it at that time. Needless to say, he was ill prepared for it. The being took the full force of the charge. Biomass cracking all over, some bits effectively breaking. The charge took them through rest of the building as they shot out of it. Legio hit the ground and did not move.

Freya grit her teeth hard as they made contact with the ground. On top of the strain she was placing on her body by using the white aura, the impact sent a shock wave of pain through her body.

The white aura was a combination of the gold and silver auras. Rather than negate damage the way the silver aura did, it absorbed it to power up the yellow aura that made up the other part of it. That meant much more explosive hits from her fists and feet, and the ability to forcefully propel herself by way of creating bursts from her whole body at once. However, her sensation of pain becomes doubled as a result of her nerves being more receptive.

She knelt over Legio and launched a flurry of punches into the weakened portions of his biomass armor. She took the opportunity to do something she had always wanted to do while launching a mess of punches.

"ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA!"

The flurry stopped when she felt her arms begin to give in from the attack. She raised her right arm and focused the white aura into her fist.

"*Pant Pant* I don't have beef with you. The power in my fist has the potential to blow you to pieces. Hrk! *Pant* You can't learn if you're dead, and he's probably going to betray you anyway. Please...stand down."

Kerana

Kerana felt some level of comfort in her words. She started to calm herself when Damien posed his insistent question. She felt confused initially she wanted to answer yes but she felt her confusion was justified when Gidget asked if she was okay with it. Was she really okay with this? To see her Alec one more time? But in what condition, could she bare observing his cold dead body when it felt like only small moments ago he was filled with life and hope. She took a moment to think about this, it led to her giving her a chance to say a final goodby to him. She took a deep breath and nodded, "Yes, let's see him one last time…".

Then Trinity spoke of new guests brought by Theonis. As she left the foxgirl looked to Gidget whipping her eyes "I hate to ask but… is that a good idea? I know you, Theonis and Trinity are trying your best but, it pains me to ask, with so much chaos going on, is Valhalla really the safest place to be right now?" It was obvious she meant no insult on their efforts but as a voice concern for herself and friends who share this place as their home. It may be the inquiry that's on the mind of all of Valhalla's citizens.

The question saddened Gidget, but only because she had been wondering that as well. Valhalla was supposed to be a safe haven for metahumans. In less than twelve hours, they had been incapacitated and assaulted. But there was a difference...

"The incident on the beach has caused a massive anti metahuman outcry. Right now, anyone who stands out as metahuman is in real danger. We were caught off guard earlier, but now I'm on the defensive. If there is one thing that I cannot be beaten in, it's formulating a plan. I know who's coming, I know when they are coming, and I know how they will come."

"I don't believe in Gods, but anyone who tries to attack us again will need divine help. We've suffered today, but I wont let it happen again."

Trinity looked at the text and took a moment to remind herself she was planning to have one last good night with him. After all there were reasons aside from the sex as to why they stuck together for so long. With that in mind she responded…

Despite the constant chaos this month has been putting us through I'm doing okay, relatively speaking.
Yes, eating out would be nice. Hopefully there will be a tonight considering how this day is going (j/k). I feel like I've been going through a week's worth of mission encompassed in just today a night off would be nice.

Legio felt each blow and Freya unleashed her fury on him. There was no pain, he did not have such senses to begin with. What seemed to be blood splattered with each hit. Legio did not try to defend himself. During all of it he just looked at her. She was slowing down during it. She could not keep this up without exhausting herself.

"I am not his ally."Legio stated as he looked her in the eyes with that damn neutral look of his. His body seemed to twist where it was damaged. It wasn't regenerating it was shifting itself. The damage moved elsewhere and soon it looked brand new. With that done he simply fell through his own shadow and came out of hers.

"I too have no beef with you. But I have made a deal and have nothing to gain from breaking it. Out of respect and gratitude I can give you a warrior's death. An....epic one if that resonates with you more. " Legio said as the clouds grew darker and started to rumble. Rain drops slowly fell.

Theo read her text and smiled. He was going to have to spoil her tonight. She deserved nothing less. Last month has had been weird for them despite them trying to work through it. Hell, if anything the sex had gotten better. She was more aggressive with it. A side he did not expect but certainly did not mind one bit. He still had her claw marks on his back. If ya get those, then ya know you're doing a good job.

Putting the phone away he turned to the group.

"It won't be long now. Trinity has set up a place for you all. Then you can...rest easier." Theo said. He wasn't sure what to say to a group that has done nothing but struggle to survive. A group that was barely hanging on. How would they even cope with it? None of them knew the comfort he has grown up with. At least he assumed they didn't.

It wasn't long after that Cassandra entered again. After all, it wasn't that long ago that she left that room with that girl. But now her son was back and she was worried sick. She immediately went over to him when she saw him and checked him over for injuries despite knowing that he wouldn't have anyway because of her own power in him.

Gidget was happy to see that Kerana was still capable of being happy in spite of Alec's death. "Sure. Tell them I said it was okay."

She then nodded to Cassandra before turning her attention to Deora.

"Good handling danger today, Kiddo. I knew Trinity was right when she said there was something special about you, but I guess I really had no idea."

"On that note, there is another someone special that could probably use a friend. Heather was successfully brought back. She's either in her room or Liv's. Why doncha go see how she's holding up?"

She couldn't believe what she was seeing. That is, until, she realized that the being that had just slipped out from under her didn't feel pain. Every opponent she had fought up until that point had been able to feel what she did to them. She would have to change tactics. She was really going to have to blow him apart.

Freya felt a burning chill across her body as Legio placed his hand on her shoulder. The cold rain felt even more frigid as her nerves were still coming down from the pain high she was on. There were shadows everywhere now.

Shadows. Everywhere.

"Nice use of the shadows just now. But you have only just adopted the shadows. But I was born into them by the curse that my father passed on. I have resided in the shadows for months on end. Since Eclipse's sister moved on to Trinity, I may not be able to command them as I once did, but she left an imprint on me. One that the beasts of the shadow realm revere. You however, have angered them with your intrusion and theft."

A pair of smoking, oily hands sprang from the shadows at Legio's feet and grabbed at his ankles. They were followed by the sudden emergence of three other zombie like shadow creatures that burst forth to grab hold of Legio's arms and body.

"Does she have a name like the two of you? Like Thessa or something? Does she know she has a brother?" Alexavier asked."Normally I just read minds but I find asking like this more interesting."

She shook her head again. "No. She sleeps. She only knows bad things, and does bad things. She doesn't care about anything, she just wants to destroy"

Though compartmentalized, they shared the same mind. Thea began to feel a hint of the negative emotions she spoke of. She got quiet and sat atop of Cassandra's bed with her knees brought up to her chest.

"I don't think I want to talk about her anymore." she whispered.

Kerana

As Gidget sadden, the fox girl's ears lowered. But as she spoke, she had confirmed her fear that they were caught off guard earlier.Off guard? They have all of these resources and technology… how did anything get past that? she wondered briefly narrowing her eyes and furrowing her brow in the process.

Then Gidget continued as she pointed out how things are different now. How they seem to have a better understanding of what they're dealing with. As Gidget spoke confidently of her planing ability the fox girl's ears raised up and she hugged her. She smiled to herself and said, "That's exactly what I needed to hear." After a moment she let go and asked "Could we see Alec, right now?"

Damien trotted up to Kerana and took her by the hand. He then looked to Cassandra and motion her over.

"Mom, you should come too. We might need you."

Ravan could only hope that Theonis was right. Then his previous question finally sank in.

"I thought you should know. The man in your arms is your son, and she is your daughter." she said as she pointed back to one of the teens.

A girl with platinum blonde hair nervously smiled and raised her hand in greeting.

"You're welcome." said the gravity queen.
