Courtyard (North)

Meghan hadn't gone back to her room, but to a large area where she turned an orb into her glider, a small flash of light emiditing from the area. She put the goggles that had daggled from her neck onto her eyes as she hopped on. She leaned back as the glider slowly lifted up before blasting up straight into the sky, where she glided around, thinking, as she glided atop a few clouds that had been in the sky.

Sai looked over at Kaori, seeing the tear fall. "You know," he said softly, placing a hand on the back of her head gently, "you can cry if you want to," he said reasuringly.

Kaori tensed as she felt his touch, but relaxed as she realized it was Sai. "No I can't..." she whimpered, words still muffled from a combination of the ground and her hands. "I-I haven't since that day. I wouldn't let myself because then they'd know that I'm really weak!" Her tail had stopped its constant movement, now just drooping pathetically by her side. Kei gave a soft growling whimper as he butted his head against hers, trying to get a reaction, but failed.

He shook his head, although she couldn't see. "People think it's a sign of weakness," he said softly, "but in a way it's a sign of strength." He thought for a moment, before continuing. "If you have the courage and strength to cry, it means that you're not afraid to show what you're feeling, and that you're not hiding," he said, hoping it made sense.

Kaori's body shook with another silent sob and then slowly, she began to rise. Her face was red, cheeks puffy and tear stained. She watched him for a while, crimson eyes looking almost dull, as her hands still partly covered her face. She took in his words and thought them over for a moment, chewing her lip nervously as she did.

After a bit, she nodded and then let her hands fall to her lap, where Kei then began licking them, trying to be comforting. Kaori's hand absently began petting his head as her eyes fell to the ground. Her expression remained blank for a while and then slowly, the bare traces of a smile appeared. "Y-you're right," she stammered quietly. "Sorry.."

[Makes sense to me, I think. Though, I'm listening to music too. ^^;]

He shook his head. "There is no need for thanks," he smiled, "Just trying to help the best I can." [[isn't that why you thank someone? xD]] He sighed, "If you don't mind me asking, why were you crying in the first place?" He looked at her, his eyes soft.

Kaori glanced at him and then sighed, deciding it was time she told somebody. Sai didn't seem the type to laugh at her or attack like those back home either. "Umm..." she began weakly, hugging Kei to her for support. "You were talking about Meghan and her memories.. So then I began recalling my own." She paused, feeling selfish, and slowly clenched her fists. "I remembered my first fight. It... was the night my parents were killed. I was there, but the attackers didn't realize. It was... also the first time I killed someone." She stopped suddenly and bowed her head, looking guilty, yet her expression also turned cold. "It was an act of rage and I couldn't stop myself."

He listened contently while she told him. He nodded is head, closing his eyes for a moment, then looked back at her. "Don't worry," he said, putting a hand on her shoulder, "I understand. Everyone is controlled by rage in some point of their life," he said calmly. "Even I am run by rage," he smiled weakly.

She glanced up at him, amazed by how easily he took in her story. She blinked and fought the urge to flinch as he set his hand on her shoulder. Kaori look in his words and nodded very faintly as she listened, eyes widening just slightly from their normal narrowed position upon his last words. "You don't seem like it.." she murmured, turning her attention back to the dragon she held.

"I'm telepathic and I know most martial arts,what about you?" He asked her.

"A person gets used to having to cope with it after such a long time," he smiled; he was, give or take, pretty old although he was preserved in a 17 year old body. He sighed, "After a while, you learn that you can't let it control you, although you may want to keep looking to carry out your revenge," he nodded to himself.

Kaori kept her eyes on Kei as she listened, gently tugging on the dragon's wings. Slowly, he lifted from her arms and settled down, hanging halfway off her shoulder. Then Kaori glanced back up at him, realizing he'd finished speaking. "You're right, again." she sighed, smiling very faintly. "I'll just have to practice and slowly get better at it, I guess..." She paused again and then looked towards him. "Do you... have some one you're after for revenge?" she asked quietly.

[I'm very sorry! Parents are dragging me to the beach until Sunday. T.T I may get one more post in, but it's not too likely.]

Misa walked into the courtyard. She looked around.Phew...I am so bored... She looks at Kaori as she is talking with a boy and girl..I might as well meet friends of friends.. She got up and went to say hi..she was very bored.."Hi, I am a friend of Kaori and M y name is Misa Titneer..It is very nice to meet you.."Misa intouduced herself shaking the boy and girls hand.."My brother should be coming any minute now..he has class" Misa smiled at her yet - to be friends.

Madoka watched as Nikki stood up and started chatting with another student who was standing off nearby. Madoka listened to their conversation and she threw pebbles into the pond. The pebbles splashed into the water and immersed under the water. After several minutes passed, Madoka heard a shout. She looked around and twitched her human ears. Was that Fuyumi? Madoka stood up and observed the location of where she thought the sound had come from, the other side of the courtyard. Madoka then scampered over to Nikki. She tapped her shoulder and said, "I think I found Fuyumi. She's acting like an idiot on the other side of the courtyard."
Madoka glanced at the boy, the student that Nikki was conversing with. She gave him a crooked smile and a nod, as if saying hello. Madoka wasn't exactly sure what else to do so she looked at the ground and dug her shoe into the dirt before glancing at Nikki, waiting for her to say something.

"If you need help, Kaori-chan, I'm more than willing to," he smiled. He listened to her question, and gave a short laugh. "Yes, I do, actually. And if I come across it, maybe to what made Meghan lose her memories. It'd explain a lot, anyway," he sighed.

He looked up at the girl who had just arrived. He tilted his head; she was a friend of Kaori's and just popped in. This place has a lot of brothers and sisters, he thought, sweatdropping.  

[Raine_Falls]

Kaido walked through the courtyard, wide-eyed and curious. She had never been to such a school in her life and was intrigued with the way they ran things. Being who she is, Kaido was dumb enough not to read the pamphlet she was given. So, quite obviously she had no idea what this school was for exactly. "Maybe I should try making friends while I'm here..." she said, noticing a group of students conversing casually.

She gulped nervously and slowly began to make her way over to them. Her braided black hair was flipped over her shoulder, the violet glowing abnormally. "Um..hello.." Kaido said quietly, looking down at the ground uncertainly. "I-I'm new..."
