[Scytheress]

Scytheress watched her attack fly beneath Gordon as he rocketted into the air over it. She knew the impact would be severe from the height he obtained and she waited for him to come back down unhindered. Her gaze solemnly followed his fall back to the earth and she only squinted as the rush of dirt flew up toward her when he made impact. As for the Chaos Ball he had fired during his decent it now hovered just above Scytheress's raised hand. Energy does not pass through energy and thus when the ball came down Scy shifted her hand just enough so that she would catch it on a plume of her own energy mixed with the air around it and surge to cover the ball in a protective casing of her own energy.

"Your antics do not amuse me. You claimed to hold some power beneath your frail form. I have yet to see it."

Scytheress realized that he was no threat to her or the proceedings with Yusake and his new found brother so she'd regrain from launching offensives of her own. That would change however if Gordon made a move that might disturb the others or simply kept up the fight too long. As it was his legs must have been broken at least from the fall. Even if he did continue to try and participate Scytheress figured no more of her energy would be required after she shot his chaos ball into the sky away from them.

Something had gone wrong. Gordon couldn''t feel his legs. He wasen't supposed to land on his feet. When he was up there something...purple hit him and knocked him off balance. Whatever or whoever hit was not that girl. Suddenly it hit him. HE felt something behind him. he looked up and started screaming.


There was nothing there but it that magic trick. Gordon was firing weak energey balls at the sky screaming. Jax looked back at Felcity. He squeezed his fist forming a ball of blue fire. " Undo what you just did!" He said aiming it her. He was slowly changing back to Shepard. The tatto on his face disappeared and his voice was changing back. unlike Jax Shepard would fire the ball at Felcity.

Kaori's eyes widened as she watched Gordon, having no idea what he could possibly be doing. "That's totally ineffective. He isn't even aiming!" she cried to Kei. The dragon stared back at her, equally confused. Kaori turned her gaze towards Gordon again and debated approaching to see what was wrong. She still did feel guilty for leaving the fight. The least she could do was check on him, right?

Then she heard Jax shouting at the little girl. She jumped in surprise as she heard his voice change and her eyes jumped to him in time to see his tattoo disappearing. She also looked in horror as she saw the attack he was aiming. What the hell is wrong with these people? she thought in shock, and set the dragon down, inching closer towards Gordon for now.

She glanced at the female he'd been fighting and froze, not wishing for her to think she had any intention of fighting, because Kaori definitely did not. So she paused, still on the foutain's edge, as she waited for some kind of sign that it'd be ok for her to approach and see Gordon. Her eyes kept darting nervously towards Jax and the little girl. The only logical thing she could think for him was that Jax may be transforming.

[Krazy Kaori]

Kaori's eyes were so intently focused upon the girl Gordon had been fighting as she waited for permission to approach, that at first she didn't even notice the woman appear beside her. Only when Kei growled and tried darting at her, did Kaori snap back to her senses. Her hold tightened around the dragon to keep him still as her eyes darted around to see what he was looking at.

She jumped slightly as she saw the woman and blinked towards her a moment before shaking her head to clear her thoughts. Can't let my guard down that easily! she scolded herself and then narrowed her eyes as she took in the woman's words. "I-I'm not really sure," she began slowly in response. "I arrived here late also. It seems like everyone's ganging up on that one guy-" she pointed towards the male who was now talking to someone he claimed to be brother's with. "-and she-" Kaori nodded towards Scytheress, "-decided to fight Gordon to keep him from entering the main fight."

She bit her lip nervously as she edged forward in impatience. "Now I just want to see if he's alright. I didn't come here to get into any epic battles," she added in a snarl under her breath.

Scytheress's eyes shifted, wondering what exactly her oppenent was up to. His random shots into a vacant sky were almost entertaining when coupled with his furitive screaming but she wasn't so intent on this boy as to not notice the other proceedings in the courtyard as she had taken it upon herself to control all the events that may influence Yusake and the other few. Like the girl refered to as Kaori didn't go without notice in her crawl to reach Gordon. In fact their eyes met for a moment that seemed to span eternity before some new arrival pulled Kaori's attention away. But for that moment Kaori would feel something akin to a spiritual fire burning at her soul, not painful but foreboding; a warning that she could do as she pleased but the moment she took offensive action toward the Fox or any of the people behind her she'd meet with a deadly force.

As for the new girl Scytheress gave great attention to her. Unlike Kaori this one seemed violent and wanted to involve herself like so many others in matters she knew nothing of. Scy almost laughed when the woman asked what was going on for neither of them knew even the slightest fraction of the real situation. The same freezing voice swept to the two women's ears, softer now but no where near feigning peaceful.

"It was that boy who chose to fight me, dearest, not the other way around. You won't suffer a like fate as long as you keep your peace." The focus of Scytheress's words seemed to shift. "Meaning you'd best disengage your weapons and retract your rage for they'll get you nowhere here."

Almost to emphasize her point Scytheress brought her left wrist up to her face, taking a silver bullet that was strung on a chain there between her fangs, and smirking. They perhaps didn't recognize the ammunition she held but it was a single shot from a most famous gun, Ivory, weilded by a demon slayer at Ria who was by far one of the strongest students to ever enroll. The bullet alone probably held more destructive power than Juilia herself. Though one little fact that Scytheress knew this new woman was unaware of was that the moment the Fox registered the metallic taste on her tongue a timer began to tick down on how long Scythe would wait for her to disarm.

Kaori turned her eyes back towards the winged female, her hand coming to her chest almost by itself. She felt a strange warmth there and narrowed her eyes just slightly, but refrained from doing anything more. This wasn't her battle to fight, and she knew this.

Kaori chewed her lip softly as she listened to the woman speak and very faintly nodded. She made sure her hand didn't shift towards her hidden dagger like it so often did on its own and she made no move to remove the giant sword from her back, but didn't act to use it either. She watched the bullet raise to the female's mouth and frowned in confusion. Kaori had no idea what it was but decided she didn't really care at the moment.

Very slowly, she inched her way forward again, making for Gordon. She stayed low to the ground, not even realizing that she was. Her instinct made her do this in hopes of avoiding any attacks that might come her way. Kaori reached his side after a moment and stayed out of the way of his random firing. She winced as his screams pounded in her ears. "H-hey, what's wrong?" she asked quietly, gently shaking his shoulder.

Gordon was out of power and fainted firing his last beam into the sky. He didn't move but only breathed quietly. His legs where broken and his head was bleeding. " What hit me? It was a purple light. Who was it.." he said in his mind unaware he was knocked out.

Kaori frowned as she saw him stop firing and slowly tilted forward so she was now leaning over him. She quickly looked him over, confirming her fears. It looked as if his legs were broken and it was no wonder too, considering how hard he'd fallen earlier. She lightly reached out to brush the hair from his face as she thought of what she could do. Could she possibly move him without making his injuries worse? She bit her lip nervously as she considered it. Kei had crept up behind her and was licking at Gordon's fingers, as if feeling Kaori's worry for this male.  

[Lani Sessimaru]

Amani walked into the courtyard , Percy in her hand , and watched the horrifying scene unfold . She would wait and see if anyone needed her before she got in anyone's buisness , as Percy suggested .
" There's no need to bother some one unless it is an emergency . " He had said .

Percy hopped from her hands and trotted ahead of her . The cat's sleak body cut through wind like a knife , meaning he was super fast . (( Super is such a simple word I don't like using it .... >.< )) He sat down in the grass and observed the scene as the gears in his brain started ticking .

Above the skys Dargex lurked. He had been the one who hit Gordon so hard back down. " So sad. i was expecting a better fight. Oh well. I guess since those bounty hunter's couldn't kill them I will!" he said forming two balls of Blackfire in his hand. He fired them down to where Gordon was hoping to finally end the child's life.

Scytheress's ears laid flat back against her head as her gaze went skyward in response to the sudden surge of energy. She didn't know who it was nor did she care to find out but he was going against the law she'd laid here for the time being, and whether he understood that or not was trivial. As the two spheres of black flame shot down they would find themselves suddenly extinguished as they were pressured out of existence, air slamming into them from all sides until the flames were snuffed out and the energy propelling them was crushed and dispersed. Her attention didn't leave Julia however as her time continued to tick.

As for the being above if he so much as fired another shot he'd recieve an offensive in return and if he'd been around when Gordon had made the same mistake then she believed he wouldn't be as unwise. The Fox's eyes narrowed to mere slits as she awaited his next move, a slight wind beginning to move away the clouds above. When and if the creature was revealed and still seeking to wreak havoc it would be quite simple for Scytheress to just pull him from the sky and shoot him down onto a spike of earthen creation. Scy ran her tongue on the barrel of the bullet in her mouth in anticipation.

Kaori frowned as Kei suddenly bit her sleeve and began pulling her back. "What are you doing?" she hissed, jerking away. Kei growled and soared under her chin, raising her face so she was looking up. Kaori's eyes widened and she let out a startled half scream. She saw large balls of... something coming towards her rapidly.

Gritting her teeth, she grabbed Gordon beneath his arms and slid him back. There was no time now to be as gentle as she'd originally planned. Kaori scrambled away, the small dragon trying to help with her load as she attempted to get both herself and Gordon out of the way of the attacks. But then she blinked and looked back up, realizing the blasts hadn't hit. "Wha...?" she frowned and then looked towards the woman [Scytheress] and slowly registered the fact that she had stopped the attacks. She thanked her silently, even though she knew the woman had not been intending upon protecting herself and Gordon like she had.

Kaori continued her retreat however, and half carried Gordon all the way back to the fountain. There she laid him gently in the grass by its base and touched the water lightly, splashing some on his face in hopes of awakening him.
