More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

For Theo, shadow traveling was nothing new. But this felt different Perhaps because it was done by one who basically was a shadow. Or rather and aspect of darkness. Now what he saw, was something he was not prepared for. Then again there was rarely anything this day that he could prepare for.

Cassandra with a white haired fox girl. Alec and Damian on a bed that clearly was not in it's normal place. Or that tall...thing. Sil really seemed to know it as they spoke....Latin? All Theo could do was stare. His mind for once, blank. There was something....eerily familiar about that ghastly Ancient. Something that almost gave him cold sweat.

As they entered Trinity could not help but feel like she was walking onto an episode of Inu Yasha with the fox girl with white...hair? Is that Kerana?... What happened to her? Alec is alive? the questions needed to be placed on hold for now. There was an exchange between Silhouette and Crosis. She understood what they were saying. "Crosis and Silouhette are an item" she observed. "Silhouette has endured a fate worse than death." She wondered if that was still the case.

She put her hand on Ako's chest and leaned into him. "How are you dealing, babe?"

Ako wasn't sure how to answer the question. He thought he'd been coming back around to his old self, and was finally starting to clear his head, but it seemed like events were speeding out of control again. He said as much to Gidget as he took her hand in his.

Deora embraced Heather tightly, glad to see her only friend aside from Kerana. The relief was such that it took her a moment to realize the girl she was hugging no longer resembled a reptile. She pulled back to arm's length, holding one of Heather's hands to examine it. "When did this happen?! you look great!"

She realized her words and corrected herself; "I mean, not that you looked bad before, you looked good then. But this! AH!"

Theo was focused on Crosis. The rest seemed to kind of fade around him. It gave him goosebumps. Why did it look so damn familiar? The more he looked at him the more he knew....he had seen Crosis before. That was the only explanation he could think of. But he could not remember for the life of him.

Crystalion let Ravan vent. She had every right to. Saying anything now would only make things worse and would sound like an excuse. Every word pierced her like a dagger. She honestly did not know that Leo was in medical or that Davis didn't make it. Her tears formed again as her heart seemed to twist at the thought of Davis. He didn't deserve to die. None of them did. The mention of Leo made her wanted to go to him but she could not forsake her other child. The one in front of her. All of those children were her kids in her mind. She did her best not to break down not when Ravan was already doing that. All she could do was comfort her. Embracing the young woman she gentle stroked her head.

"Ssshhh it's okay. It's going to be alright. He's in good hands here. Gidget made sure this place had the some great doctors." Crystalion softly said whilst comforting the girl.

The heat and pressure forced the parasites out of the wolfs body. Some landed near while others further. A few skid across the ground near the walking clod of flesh that was Legio. Spears shot out from Legio to pierce the parts of flesh that got close. It reabsorbed the parasites back into it's body. Fresh blood and meat. It's upper body compressed and molded itself to resembled how he looked before.

The parasites closer to the she-wolf blindly leaped towards it in order to continue.

Silhouette asked, "Quid tibi accessit?
Et sine motu esse solebat. Quod tibi in haec simulacra viro?" < What happened to you? You used to be without emotion. What made you into this wraith? >

Crosis' hood shifted down in shame. He thought back to a time when he was truly without any bias or emotion. That is, until Silhouette began to spend more of her free time with him. He kept it hidden, but she had brought out something in him that he had never experienced before in his long life. When the he could no longer feel her presence, a darkness fell over him. After learning to love, he then learned to hate. Whenever his anger reached a fever pitch he took it out on the Hiccen. Plagues, natural disasters, war, famine, all orchestrated by his own hand. Matters were not helped by the dark whispers of Eclispe driving his hatred.

The hood shifted up to look at the shadow containing his beloved's voice. He hissed, "Quid tibi in hac parasito? Et c** esset pulchra. Iam vos es coeperint impleri in umbra huius hiccen sordes. Quare c** corrupti seminis Decaelum odio?" < What made you into this parasite? You were once beautiful. Now you are forced to live in the shadow of this Hiccen filth.When were you corrupted by hatred and the seed of the Decaelum? >

Silhouette narrowed her eyes and spoke one word, "Eclipse"

"Etiam"

Silhouette switched back to speaking English for the benefit of those around her. "Mortals, for those who aren't in the know, this is Crosis: the aspect of death's equity, also known as the Grim Reaper and..." she took an unneeded deep breath and said, "...my betrothed."

Ako wasn't sure how to answer the question. He thought he'd been coming back around to his old self, and was finally starting to clear his head, but it seemed like events were speeding out of control again. He said as much to Gidget as he took her hand in his.

Gidget nodded and said, "Yeah. I know exactly what you mean. Today was supposed to be a fun, exciting, and happy day. A ride out on your bike, giving you your personal garage, and telling you that you're going to be a dad. Instead, we got attacked by a dubstep clown, Charles Ray, and a little girl made of guns."

She purposely left out the bit about Theresa being her biological daughter. That could come later. What she had to talk about with Ako was way more important.

She held his hand tightly and looked directly into his eyes. "Ako," she started. "please sit over here with me. I have to talk to you about something."

She led him over to the only two chairs in the lab that didn't have too many holes in them. She sat him down, still holding his hands and looking to him with love and adoration. She took a deep breath and let it out, psyching herself up for what she was about to ask him.

"Hun, I noticed awhile ago that you seem to space out sometimes when talking to people. I thought it was cute at first, but it's been worrying me with how often it happens. Can you tell me about it? When it started? What it feels like? What're you thinking about when it happens?"

Heather laughed and waved her hand, "It's okay. But I know right?! Apparently the more time I let the dragon out, the more I can be human. Well, except for the eyes, but they look really cool. Anyway, I spent a month as a dragoness, and then I spent half of today as a full dragon, so this is me for the time being. Oh man, it was incredible. I was a big red best sure, but I felt so strong and I was flying!"

She quickly cupped her hands over her mouth and looked back to make sure she hadn't woken up Liv. She let out a sigh of relief and looked back to Deora.
"Sorry, but Liv is sleeping. She exhausted herself saving me." she explained.

She tip toed inside and grabbed Liv's key card before leading Deora outside and gently shutting the door behind them.

When she was confident that they wouldn't disturb Liv's sleep she looked back to Deora and said, "Okay, there we go. But enough about me, what happened to you today? Your covered in dust and drywall. Plus you seem different. Like I can feel a radiant energy coming off of you."

The wolf's senses were as hightened as they could get. She-they could feel the parasites coming toward her-them.

The wolf spun around, using their combined auras to scoop up and throw the little bastards back at their creator, so he could get what he took from them. They glared at Legio with their bloodshot eyes, daring him come at her-them.

s**t, it's alreadyou getting so isrd to thank.

What did y say? Your mind ha feeling stringe.

The wolf grunted and shook their head. The pain in their head was somehow made worse by the coming together of their minds. Not to say that the bodily pain done by the parasites wasn't ever present. The ki had done it's job, restoring her power, but it was only stopping the injuries from killing her, not healing them.

It has to be now, before we lose ourselves.

The wolf pushed off with their hands and stood back on their hind legs. They held them at their sides for a moment, then they raised them out and level to their shoulders. Then they brought their hands together in a thunderous clap. A clap that exerted enough force to create a bubble that pushed back the rain for a moment.

Overhead, the storm clouds began to thicken and increase their downpour.

Eclipse was no longer laughing. He grit his teeth and grumbled, "The crazy b***h. She's actually going to do it with her body in that condition."

The commotion had caused Strength to awaken. She blinked before realizing her altitude and looking down to see what was happening. The four girls looked up at Eclipse for an explanation.

He narrowed his eyes and said, "The Soichi clan's killer technique...Wrath of Heaven."

The wolf rapidly formed nine hand formations and synced them with their thoughts.

Rin Pyo Ta Sha Kai Jin Restsu Zai Zen.

Lightning crashed, but it only remained in the clouds. The black clouds had rid the city of shadows, cutting off any shadow escape for the wolf, Legio, and Eclipse. The only light was the wolf's auras, and they began to flare out of control. Gold, silver, red, white, silver, gold. gold and red, white and silver, it was bursting and lashing sporadically.

The typhoon of auras then twisted around her-them, mixing and growing, writhing and screaming. With one last increase in the rotation, the auras finally came together in to the black aura. It emitted no light, and it nearly blended in with the wolf's black fur to the point where only her outline, teeth, eyes, and claws could be seen within it.

The wolf no longer felt any pain or confusion. She was completely balanced and at peace with herself. She didn't have a name or title. She didn't need one. She was both Freya and Okami. She was the calm before the storm. She was the wolf.

She spoke plainly as she addressed Legio, "Strength. Channeling. Harmony. Healing. Sense of danger. Reading of thoughts. Control of space and time. Control of the sky and the elements. Enlightenment."

Ravan allowed herself to cry and be comforted by Crystalion. She hated feeling so weak and useless, but having her head stroked actually felt very nice. It reminded her of something. It was deep in her subconscious, but for a fleeting moment she remembered being small, a woman holding her tightly, doing the same thing, and saying the same words. "Sh, it's okay. It's going to be alright."

The recalled memory only intensified her emotions as she grabbed Liv's blouse tightly. "This has never happened to me." she huffed. "Why does it hurt so much? Why can't I stop crying?"

"It's okay to cry now. You're safe here. I think it's all coming out now."Crystalion responded continuing to stroke her head as the girl cried."Just let it out."

Ravan had one more thing she felt the need to get off her chest before she fully gave into her emotions.

"I...I never told him how I feel." she confessed.

After that, she allowed herself to cry and be comforted for what must've been close to five minutes. She finally brought raised her head from Crystalion's chest and sniffled. She felt tired. It was finally hitting her exactly how exhausted she was. But there was still so much to do and look after. She had to find out how everyone was, make sure they eat, and then make sure they were housed and safe.

She rubbed her eyes and nose, trying to regain control of her breathing. She looked down and noticed that she had soaked Crystalion's blouse with snot and tears. She blushed and looked to the woman sheepishly.

"I'm sorry." she muttered.

She gently removed herself from Crystalion's gasp and rubbed her face once more, smearing dirt and blood all over it.

"I'm sure you're wanting to check on everyone." she said while moving around to help regain her composure. "Especially Dawn and Leo. They'll probably be thrilled to see you."

Legio gratefully accepted his parasites back, quickly devouring them to restore himself to his normal state. He observed Freya's technique unfold but he knew first hand that she was dangerous. Legio took control of the rain, all of the water was at his command it seemed to all draw towards him in the form. It circled around him like two big snakes. But the water became acid. Annie's power was finally being utilized. Ako's Lightning struck besides him and kept on doing so.
He did promise her an....epic death after all.

"Come"

The wolf slowly took a fighting stance and readied herself for an attack.

Eclipse called out to Legio from his perch high above the battle. "No! Do not let her attack you! You have no idea what that technique was capable of before she wrapped herself in a shroud of black energy! She's become destruction incarnate!"

The wolf's ears twisted toward the direction the shouting was coming from and sniffed the air to gain a sense of how many people were around her. All the while she kept her eyes locked on Legio.

Eclipse had his focus entirely on Freya. Then he felt an indescribable force coming at him and the girls from above. He didn't notice the simultaneous disruptions of the rain hitting the buildings below them. He didn't have time to see what was about to happen to Legio. He only had time to make one thought before he and the girls were being hurtled to the ground below.

When did she get so fast.

The wolf had been quick to strike down the observers. She wanted them grounded and immobile. The world around her was at a standstill while she moved at speeds that allowed her to still appear on the ground. That was out of the way, but she knew Legio was going to be more difficult. Plus she could only maintain this speed for so long before her body fell apart. She opted to attack from a distance.

She fell to the closest rooftop and leaped over her dissipating image below. Just when she made it over, she threw a single punch at the ground toward Legio. What came from the punch was a wide tunnel of dark air that packed the force of a hurricane.

"I think he knows. He got that from his father." Crystalion mentioned.

She let the young girl cry to her hearts content. It was something she needed. During Ravan's crying she was humming a song along with the occasional kiss on the forehead. Something she often did to calm and sooth the kids when they were crying. Afterwards she just smiled at Ravan and looked down at her blouse. Which she could most likely toss away by now.

"Well it was nice the few minutes I had it." She joked.

"We first need to get your cleaned up properly. I just showered but this thing is pretty thin. The last person who got this much snot on my chest was Dawn. I think it's best I take another shower. And you look like you're about to collapse. We're taking a shower. And no buts, young lady."Crystalion said in a more firm motherly tone. The kind that didn't allow talk back.

The only way Legio managed to 'see' where she went was because of he could track her mind but even that was not fast enough.
Legio barely managed to throw up a powerful telekinetic barrier. A makeshift barrier without a lot of preparation put into it. It held for a short period of time but lost out to the dark storm. Right now he was being pushed on the defensive. This woman had pushed him from the start and continued to do so.

The full force of the storm hit him and he was sent flying back.Lighting stopped crashing down. Acid serpents blasted away, dissolving anything it touched. Legio skid a few times over the ground before slamming his claws into the ground, grinding him to a halt. Dangerous. This woman was dangerous!

His own aura started to flash like hers did. In the same order as hers, in an attempt copy the black aura.
