Courtyard (North)

"Eh.. you're telepathic? I think I'm a little jelous.." She smiled sheepishly, and looked down a little embarressed. "I myself don't have any talents yet, even though everyone else in my family had some sort of speacial thing from birth." Her eyes shaded over a little as her hair fell in front of them.

She tried to smile after a few seconds. "And I never could keep up with martial arts.. No matter how much I wanted to learn it as a kid. Heh.. my mother said it's not right for a girl to take part in such phisical arts." She sighed a little, and tunred so she could lean her back on the near by tree, she looked up at the sky through the assortment of leaves above.

She gave a small jump as she felt someone tap on her shoulder, and turner a little to spot Madoka, who was comenting on how she thinks she found Fuyumi. Nikki looked over to where she indicated, smiling a little hearing what seemed like Fuyumi's childish voice. "Would you like me to come with you, or shall I wait here?" She asked Madoka, still unsure of what to do within the rest of the day.

Kaido stood stock still as she listened to the others speak. After it seemed like forever Kaido spoke a little louder to them all, "um excuse me but I'm new..." She wasn't one to be ignored though she was new, and it would soon grow irritating if they did not notice her soon. Kaido was impatient like that.

Kaida rolled her eyes at the group ignoring her presence. she didn't care anymore if she was new this was not the way to treat a young lady such as she. A loud grunt escaped her lips as Kaida turned on her heel and stormed off toward the playground. Perhaps there was someone there who would be much more poliete to her than the others.

Madoka watched as Fuyumi crawled all over the other side of the courtyard, yelling at the top of her lungs and running around in circles. Madoka shook her head, "Errr... maybe we'll go over to her later when... she calms down." Madoka never really liked being around Fuyumi when she was in her hyper mood. Fuyumi would get too cheerful and a bit too energetic when she turned hyper. It annoyed Madoka how some people could be so happy while others, like herself, couldn't even bring themself to smile.

"Um, excuse me but I'm new..."

Madoka heard someone yell. She turned around and saw an impatient student who was waiting for someone to converse with her. Madoka took a step forward and opened her mouth, about to introduce herself, but then she hesitated. She then turned back towards Nikki and ignored the new girl, Madoka was not the type to make new friends quickly. Madoka unfolded the map that she held in her hand and asked, "Nikki, how do you work this map?"

"Well, I've told you what the names and that are for. So now, all you need to do is imagine this place on the paper as well as yourself. You could use your finger or something like that, and as your moving, move your finger along the map to help you guess where you are and where you are heading." Nikki explained, smiling a little. She couldn't help but find the situation a little funny.

Nikki was going to go up to the girl who had commented on herself being new and was about to reassure her that she wasn't the only one, but when the girl suddenly walked off instead, she just shrugged and looked back up through the leaves above her head.

Xel watched the very loud new girl for a moment before she stormed off. "Well,that was...interesting." He looked around for a bit before resting his head against the tree trunk.A cool breeze blew through and made the leaves rustle and one fell slowly down onto his head.  

[Raine_Falls]

Kaida blinked as Alyssa explained what the school was for. It took her a few minutes to comprehend that Ria High was for students with special abilities, and everyone was here to learn how to control them. She flipped her long, black hair behind her and smiled stupidly. "Oh...that's why I got that letter..well, at least I learned from you and no one else. They would think I'm an idiot."


Alyssa chuckled and rolled her eyes, "You are stupid Kaida." With that she began running through the courtyard, trying not to trip sheepishly over the grass. It was like the old days, and she was loving every bit of it. Silently, she hid behind a tree that a young man was resting against.

Madoka blinked at the explanation and looked down at the map. She thought it was peculiar that such a small drawing on a piece of paper called a "map" was supposed to represent big high school. Madoka shrugged the thought off and nodded, "Ohh, I see."
Madoka started to point her finger to where she thought she was on the map. She then started to walk around while tracing her finger on the map. Madoka wasn't looking ahead of her so she ended up bumping into a tree. Madoka winced as she rubbed her forehead. If I keep bumping into things like this, I'll end up getting a headache. She looked around, hoping that no one besides Nikki saw her when she spotted a boy resting his head against the same tree she had bumped into. He was also the same student that Nikki had conversed with before. Madoka bit her lip and continued to rub her head and started to mumble gibberish to herself. She glanced at Nikki and said, "Errrg, I guess this map doesn't tell you where the trees are located in the courtyard..." sweatdrop  

[Raine_Falls]

Kaida shrugged and trudged off. She wasn't as childish as Alyssa thought, and it almost insulted her that she thought so. Mumbling to herself, Kaida headed off toward the Music Hall, or what she thought was the Music Hall, giving Alyssa no sign as to follow suit or just leave her alone. Kaida didn't care right now, she could live without her, she had for years.


Alyssa stood up and dusted herself off as she watched Kaida walk off. It wasn't hard to read Kaida's thoughts, so she knew what was wrong. Kaida had a reason to be upset, it's not fair of Alyssa to treat her as a kid when she isn't. Alyssa decided it best not to bug her and headed over to the small group of people chatting. She had returned to her reserved, unsocial self, meaning she didn't mind not being noticed, it was nice to listen to others though.

Keila had grabbed onto Miki's hand and started off full speed towards the courtyard from the Library. There, she stood in the courtyard and stared as Alyssa watched someone walk away. She blinked for a moment. I thought she said she was in the South Courtyard... she pathed to Miki, before releasing his hand and going towards Alyssa, waving.
"Hey!" she reached her mind towards hers eagerly, awaiting to place part of hers onto it, like she did whenever she first read someone's mind. Then a sort of thread she could follow back to the person's mind without focusing on them entirely again and sometimes missing off the mark. Some day, however, she worried her mind wouldn't be her own, composed of other people's thoughts and worries and happiness and guilt.
"Alyyyyssssaaa!!" she said after getting pretty close to her. Keila didn't want her to run away, so she waited. Probably might've scared her though.

 

[Raine_Falls]

Alyssa blinked as a familiar voice reached her mind. She turned around curiously to see Keila and Miki standing not too far off from her current position. She nodded to them both as a greeting and smiled slightly. Although the library inccident still gave her the jitters, Alyssa just couldn't stay mad at Keila. "Hello Keila, and hello to you Miki." she replied softly, slowly making her way towards the two. Even if Alyssa wasn't one to have long conversations with people, it was refreshing to see familiar faces.  

[Kaitae]

She let her mind on top of Alyssa's and read her thoughts, since she wasn't connected with Miki. Keila then became the link between the two, and stopped walking, closing her eyes for a moment. Reading two people's minds at once was kind of straining on her.
"Hello again." Keila said, opening her eyes. She started swaying to the left a little bit and put her foot out and planted it on the ground as if she'd done it on purpose. She smiled. "How are you?" she went on as if that what had happened in.. and... er...while Miki and Keila were still in the Library hadn't happened. Wait... that's not what I... damn it. she kept to herself, blocking that thought until it had dissapeared, then opened the blank spot.

 

[Raine_Falls]

"I'll make it less strainful on you Keila. I know it's hard holding onto two links at once." Alyssa said, noticing her blanking out in connections at times, and her lack to keep balanced. This wasn't a weakness, it truley was difficult holding up two connections. Especially on someone who has not properly trained. To help Keila, Alyssa opene another link where all three could converse. It was a simple way to keep everything included and without wasting engery. "There we are...I'm doing quite well, and yourself?"  

[Kaitae]

She felt some of Miki's milder thoughts echo from Alyssa's mind, and she dropped the link with Alyssa and just listened on Miki's mind and used him as a medium. With people only listening on his mind and speaking their thoughts into his, they would be able to hear him and yet still hear each other.
Perfect. Thanks, Alyssa. I just.. really haven't still gotten most of my strength back. And I'm hungry, too. she giggled aloud, sitting on the grass. She was nearly always hungry...
And I'm doing well. Just decided to come out here and see if you were here. Thought it might be nice to talk "face to face" rather than being far apart. Is less straining on us, too, to keep concentration. Keila nodded, smiling.

Alyssa nodded and walked over to them, her lips curled into a small smile. It was ncie to see them, even if she wouldn't admit it. "Well then lets talk face to face." she said softly, sitting beside Keila and breaking the connection with her, but kept her connection with Miki. "You should go get something to snack on you do look famished."
