More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Legio started into his eyes and soon he almost felt drawn in by the pitch black darkness of his eyes. Visions of teeth, devouring everything. A giant eye adorned by thousands of smaller ones. Entire worlds were being consumed. Those unfortunate enough to survive fled. Only for the cycle to repeat itself countless of times. What occupied his mind the most was not the cycle but the fact that it was his origin. The hunger he saw seemed to be mindless. He too possessed that hunger but his mind could easily override it. It was after all, a primal and simple urge.

But one thing was different for him. When it started to repeat itself over and over, he found it....lacking. During his integration with Freya's memories he had discovered that cycles that repeat themselves endlessly are.....boring. Everything would play out the same it had before. He found that to be truly dull.

He seemed so lost in thought that he did not realize the visions had ended. Eclipse's 'slap' did bring him back to his senses.

"Ah yes, I was lost in thought. Thank you for showing me this" Legio stated in his trademark neutral voice.

Crystalion watched her 'daughter' pick out the clothing. She had to admit it was a bit boyish. Then again she was a bit of a tomboy.

"It will do for now. But socks and sandals don't really go well with each other sweetie. Sandals are meant for bare feet. When we've all gotten some rest we'll take the girls with us for shopping. It's also a good way to show you all the world." She paused a bit and got a bit of a smile." Saying stuff like this....feels like forever."

There were always things with Trinity that he did not expect. Never in a back way though. Like now, suddenly crying. Why she did that he did not know but he nodded to her as she sank into his shadow.

Theo was taken aback by the screech but quickly recovered from it. He didn't really know Alec that well but he had to admit the kid had balls not backing down from that to defend his girl, who he still did not know who she was. But this could escalate quickly. He had to do something.

"Lets both calm down here. Both of you are finally with your loved ones again.
Please focus on that, not each other." Theo said trying to defuse the situation. He'd rather not talk to Death/Crosis because it made him uncomfortable. They did meet somewhere or perhaps Theo had just seen him before but the inability to remember also frightened him.

"May I ask you something? What did you mean by grooming him for 2 years."

He seemed so lost in thought that he did not realize the visions had ended. Eclipse's 'slap' did bring him back to his senses.

"Ah yes, I was lost in thought. Thank you for showing me this" Legio stated in his trademark neutral voice.

Eclipse slumped his shoulders and moaned, "Well you're no fun. I was hoping for at least some unhinged laughter. Hmm...oh well. I guess it's hard to break someone whose only been alive for a month. It's better this way. I need you good and sane."

He smiled again and asked with a hint of caution,
"So...are you still on for tomorrows crippling of Valhalla? I got lots of goooood information I have yet to share if you need insentive."

"Why would I laugh? I found no humor in those visions. I found it....interesting but...boring. An endless cycle. The result will always be the same. Nothing new will happen." Legio responded.

"Perhaps, I have a lot to process right now. But I am curious of what you would give me."

Eclipse raised an eyebrow at the mention of the cycle never chamging. He gave a knowing smirk to Legio, amused at the creature's lack of imagination.

But the that amusement was replaced with annoyance. He chuckled, sat on his desk, and looked over to Teshoumaru.

"Can you believe this guy, Tesh?" he asked while pointing his thumb at Legio. "The kid thinks 'maybe' is good for me."

He looked back at Legio and clasped his hands together on his lap. "I've got lots of s**t going on, sport. I need that bunker out of comission, or I'm going to hafta wait five more months to make it do what it do. I got plans behind plans, but it means jack if I don't know what my assets are doing. If I can't depend on you, then you're no good. So I need an answer, right now. Are you in, or are you out?"

Legio felt something akin to irritation and it showed in his hair and eyes. Eclipse is certainly interesting and he does posses information nobody else has. But his tone was getting on Legio's nerves. Perhaps it was Freya's personality leaking out or he, himself was changing.

"I said perhaps. Do not rush me. You have yet to show me how to break the limit of the source." Legio stated.

Ravan rolled her eyes, kicked off her sandals, and then removed her socks. "Tch, I can already tell that I'm going to spend the first few weeks here looking like an idiot." she complained while she put her sandals back on.

"Okay, I'm clean and dressed. Can we go look in on Leo and the others now?

"May I ask you something? What did you mean by grooming him for 2 years."

The hood turned it's unseen eyes upon Theonis. "Hnnn, of course a hicce would ask the second question before permission is given."

Silhoiette's annoyance was audible as she snapped, "Enough of your diatribes, Crosis. Theonis was only asking what is most likely on all our minds. What were you doing with the boy in your realm?"

Crosis stood silently dumbfounded for a moment. It had been a great while since his beloved had chastised him so. It still surprised him how someone so small could command his attention.

He returned his attention to Theonis and and sighed, "I was preparing Alec to take my place so that I may deal with Eclipse's madness unhindered."

Alec tensed up as Crosis spoke. He didn't mind answers, but he feared what Kerana's reaction would be to the reason he accepted Death's proposal.

"Let's go" Crystalion replied. She led the way as they both left the previously unused apartment. It was strange walking those corridors again. Seeing other people as well. What she did not expect was to see Theo's face every now and then. It seemed that he was in charge of Valhalla in this timeline. It still hurt to see his face but she endured. She wasn't sure how meeting him would go. Hopefully she could put that off for now. Her normal pace was quite high but she refrained from going too fast in here. Ravan wasn't used to it all. Especially these people. A few people gave her a glance like they knew her and she wouldn't be surprised if they did. Not her of course but her younger version.

It didn't take them long to get to the medbay. They didn't encounter anything weird but the elevator ride was amusing. And by that it was amusing to see Ravan's reaction to it.

They stood in front on the medbay and Crystalion stepped aside, away from the door. She had no idea how to face her kids.

"Maybe....maybe you should go first.I...I don't know how....they're just going to just as confused as you were. What if...what if they hate me?" The mother started to blurt out in her insecurity.

Eclipse smacked his forehead and exclaimed, "Holy crap, I totaly forgot! I did tell you I would, didn't I? Well I'm glad you reminded me."

He hopped off the desk and shook his limbs to warm himself up. "Okay, the first thing you do is get loose and focus on your intentions. You gotta make sure that you're good and ready."

"Are you paying attention? Because this is the most important part. It is absolutely crucial that you get this right. The next thing you do is grow a d**k, tuck it between your legs, ram it up your a**, and GO ******** YOURSELF!!! he shouted while lifting both of his middle fingers to eye level.

"Sorry skippy. The only way to do it is to have been given the boon of an ancient. The Soichi clan freaks are the ones who got the closest to figuring out a way to do it without us, but at the potential cost of their lives."

"So yeah, I had you kill the b***h for a whole lotta nothing. Shoulda listened to her, champ. Screwing people over is kinda what I do."

He circled his desk and started slamming numbers on the keypad of his conference phone. "Now if you don't mind, I have a mass murder to prepare for.
Well, another one anyways. Don't let the shadow hit your a** on the way out."

They stood in front on the medbay and Crystalion stepped aside, away from the door. She had no idea how to face her kids.

"Maybe....maybe you should go first.I...I don't know how....they're just going to just as confused as you were. What if...what if they hate me?" The mother started to blurt out in her insecurity.

Ravan gawked at Liv and raised an eyebrow. "Seriously? We didn't come all the way here for you to puss out now. Come on"

She grabbed Crystalion's wrist and led her into the medbay. The medbay looked like a battlefield triage center. Not only were the kids being treated, but there were still a few severely wounded guards that were still being patched up from their fight with the floating kid.

Ravan marched up to the first person she saw in a white coat and asked, "Where are the two oldest that came with the other kids? Lne of them was unconscious."

The doctor looked down at Ravan and said, "You must be the one Dawn was asking about. They are in room twenty in the back right corner."

Without wasting a breath, Ravan tugged on Liv and walked in the direction she was given.

All it took was one child to hear the pushy tone of their biggest sister. She looked up and saw that a clean and dressed Ravan was leading-

"Miss Liv?!"

The heads off all the other kids perked up and saw the woman they had all taken for dead. Before any of the medics could stop them, the one's that were old enough to walk ran up to Ravan and Liv.

Ravan did the best she could to stave off the avalanche of hugs, bjt it was a futile effort. "Back off you little peanuts! She just got here too!

Then the questions came.

"Where were you?"
"Why did you go?"
"I missed you."
"Were we bad?
"Are you okay?"
"Did you miss us?"

Ravan was prepared to let Liv try and explain herself to the army of children, but then she saw the look in the woman's eyes.

"Uh, Miss Liv was gone because Gidget sent her on a super secret mission. She was out in the wastes fighting the giant beasts so that me, Leo, and Dawn didn't have to. She even kept the time machine safe so we could come here and be safe. She was soooo busy that she could only stop by and see us while we slept." she bluffed. She hoped the kids would buy it.

And they did. Cheers and calls for Liv being a hero could be heard through tbe medbay

A teenage girl with blonde hair with black streaks stepped out of room twenty to see what the commotion was all about. What she saw brought tears to her eyes and a whirlwind of emotions. There were questions to be sure, but at that momemt she felt like a little girl again.

Dawn approached the group and brought her hands up to her bottom lip nervously. With a shaking and choked up squeek she asked, "Mama?"

Legio was seriously listening until the d**k part. You could almost see a twitch of his eye. They made a deal. Eclipse broke it. His eyes and hair became red.

"I see." He stated not in his usual tone. You could clearly hear the annoyance in his voice.

"I suppose it is a good thing I possess all of Freya Soichis' memories and skills." He said with a laugh that sounded eerily similar to Freya. You could almost see a flash of black aura.

"I will remember this, broken one." Legio said firmly as he walked towards the window. During this he let out a great burst of magnetic and telekinetic energy to shatter the windows, make a general mess of the room and disable all electronics. Childish? Perhaps. The being continued to walk out of the window on thin air.

In his mind he called out for Freya. You will have your chance with him in the future. This I can assure you.

Crystalion was being dragged along by Ravan. She didn't expect her to understand what she was feeling. Ravan's own reaction was quite fresh in her memory then again she always had been the most feisty one. She looked around still a bit nervous. The amount of injured was unexpected. It seemed they had recently run into trouble. Daedelus seemed to be a problem still. That or something else. It couldn't be as bad as Legion.

"Miss Liv?" The sound of that little voice alone was enough for her. She didn't know how to respond What could she possibly say that would make up for the fact that she left them? She then heard Ravan's story. It was very close to the truth but enough for the children. The woman looked at Ravan with a thankful smile. All she could do was pet the children's heads. There were too many to hug at once. Crystalion was too absorbed with looking at the little ones that she did not notice Dawn. Upon hearing the daughters voice she froze. Slowly she looked in the direction where she was.

It felt like an eternity since she had last seen her. But there she stood. Gentle she pushed some of the kids to Ravan so that she could move. And move she did. The distance was short but she ran towards Dawn and embraced her tightly. The tears started again and she took was shaking a bit but she held on tight. She was never going to let go of her daughter again. Never going to abandon her again. Like with Ravan her hands moved towards her daughters face, cupping it, examining it. With tears in her eyes and a smile on her face she gave a kiss on her forehead before embracing her again with both arms.

"I'm here sweetie....I'm here."

Eclipse tossed his hands in the air and huffed, "Really?! That's soooooo mature of you,
Legio. I swear, ********' kids these days."

A young man in a suit rushed in and looked around in a confused panic. He turned his eyes to Eclipse and asked, "Damn sir, what happened to the windows?"

Eclipse stared at the PA for a moment before clearing his throat and responding, "Well y'know, Chip, I've always wanted glass all over the floor and a phone that blows up in front of me so I thought I'd treat myself. Oh and when you're done drooling on your shirt, and asking stupid questions, do you think you could call maintainance and tell them to fix this?"

The assistant backed up and corrected, "It's, uh, actually Chad...sir."

The second Chad finished his sentence Legio took the conference phone and threw it at the cowering you man, hitting him in the arm.

"Get the Hell out!!!"
