More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"Sure thing honey. Wait 34C? Did you grow while I was away?" Crystalion asked. "Well...you do take after me so it's no surprise I guess."

She ordered the same clothing as she was wearing but in a red color. "Do you need help with your hair sweetie?

Dawn called back, "I'm pretty sure. The top I had was getting tight, and the large B cup I managed to find last year hurts. Plus Ravan's been glaring at me, which is a pretty good indicator."

When Liv came in with the clothes, her daughter was still trying to wrangle her hair. "Yeah. There's just so much of it. Plus it's a tangled mess. Part of me wants to cut the whole thing off, maybe go for something like yours."

"Ooookay. Yeah, it's something all right. I don't remember much about her, so it might be nice to see how she was before everything went to Hell. I just hope she wont be freaked out by a kid that she hasn't even thought about yet."

Ravan wished she could empathise, but if she ever had a chance to meet her mother there would be blood. None the less, she listened to what he had to say. She wanted things to go for him. He deserved it.

"From what Liv says she seemed like quite the lady. I'm sure it'll be fine. Besides, who would freak out after meeting you. Any woman would be crazy to not want a son like you. she said with all honesty.

"Yeah, wrong sizes can hurt." She responded. Before it all went to s**t she remember that it felt like betrayal the moment your favorite bra stabs you.

Crystalion grabbed the comb and started at the bottom. Dawn was right though. It was rather tangled up. Much like hers was when she first got here.

"Like I told Ravan I think it's best to go to a proper barber. There are so many hair styles. Oh you should have seen her freaking out about her hair. I think out of all of us, she's going to have the hardest time adapting."

"It was an example. But alright. There is no harm in letting you look through my eyes."

When the real FBI agent came towards him and started commanding him, he felt a tingle of.....joy. To him this was a form of role play. Something new. Something....fun. Using the memories and experiences of the others he knew how to 'act'.

"No sir. I've just arrived at the scene. I was delayed by the sudden appearance of a crater in the abandoned part of the city. Daedelus took command of that." Legio said in a serious manner. After what could be perceived as a hesitant pause. " What are we looking at here, sir?"

Leo actually smiled at that. Leave it to the "wild child" to say something nice and comforting. "I hope you're right." he sighed.

He noticed that Ravan seemed to still be on edge. There was no danger, so he thought that maybe she had something else on her mind.

"Are you okay? You seem distracted." he wondered aloud.

"No sir. I've just arrived at the scene. I was delayed by the sudden appearance of a crater in the abandoned part of the city. Daedelus took command of that." Legio said in a serious manner. After what could be perceived as a hesitant pause. " What are we looking at here, sir?"

The wolf was grateful to be out of the dark even if she wasn't in control. She saw that the FBI agent was wearing a ballcap that had a like colored black metal band running across it's base.

"Not bad. I just hope you can maintain the lie. That agent's cap is lined with a P3 band, curtiousy of Gidget. She developed them for law enforcement when psychic criminals were starting to become a problem. It's likely every fed here is wearing them."

The senior agent snickered and huffed, "Delayed? Distracted is more like it. Craters are outside of our jurisdiction. That craziness is handled by Homeland Security, the CIA, and Daedelus."

"And where are your credentials, boy? If special don't come before agent on your ID those things had better be around your neck at all times."

Dawn winced at having her hair tugged, but she chuckled at the idea of Ravan being conerned about her hair. "I don't doubt it. Remember what she was like when Dad found her? It took her years just to learn how to behave around people, and she still hasn't exactly got it down yet."

"I just hope things go well with Leo. He's she only person she really opens up to. If he breaks her heart there's no telling what she'll do."

He noticed that Ravan seemed to still be on edge. There was no danger, so he thought that maybe she had something else on her mind.

"Are you okay? You seem distracted." he wondered aloud.

Ravan tensed up immediately. She wasn't expecting him to prompt the discussion like that. She felt like she needed more time to prepare herself. Then she remembered how she felt not even an hour ago.

She could feel her heart bouncing against her ribs. She took a deep breath and chuckled, "Actually no."

She started fumbling with her fingers and lifted herself on the bed by Leo's legs, being careful around any tubes that were still connected. She bit her lip nervously and took a deep trembling breath.

"I...don't even know how to start. When I saw you unconscious, it...I dunno...it felt like I was stabbed. And then the more I thought about it, about you, the more crazy I got. The idea of you dying made me angry, sad, scared, and a bunch of other emotions that I'm not even sure have words to describe them yet."

"You've been the only person I could really call a friend. You were the first kid to speak to me when I could barely put three words together. I really don't know what I would've done if your Mom hadn't healed you...what I would've done without you."

At first, Leo wasn't sure what point the short blonde was trying to make. But then she started going on about when they were kids. And then it really sank in when she talked about being lost without him. Those were things that his parents, Theonis and Liv, used to say about one another.

He felt his mouth go dry for a quick moment. He had never thought if her in any capacity outside of being a sibling or friend. The more he thought about it the more he realized some of the signals she was throwing out, whether she knew them or not.

He swallowed hard and managed to croak out, "Ravan...what're you trying to say?"

"You'd be surprised how open she is with me. But yeah I do hope he accepts her feelings. You'd think he'd have noticed by now. Your dad was a sharp one but even he would sometimes miss the obvious. But don't you dare call him out on it though." She said with a chuckle as she went down memory lane. Continuing combing her hair she kept talking. This was a nice mother-daughter moment.

"So what do you think of him? Your younger dad. Must be weird for you. Hell , it's weird for me as well. The age gap between him and Leo isn't that big here." Crystalion asked.

He reached out for his neck but found no ID. Legio began to search his 'suit' a bit frantically. Back pockets, everything.

He took a deep sigh and looked down before looking up at the agent.

"I'm sorry sir. It's my first day after that...Legion incident. I was on the ground when that...thing happened. Doc says I'm not ready but I can't just sit still while innocent people die!"

Crosis had been creeping toward the boy, but then Trinity and Cassandra blocked his way. He swiped his arm to the side and mewled, "Get out of my way! That creature has to die! It will betray you!"

Silhouette began to hear a faint high pitched whistle in her head that was steadily increasing in volume. Something that Crosis had said was causing her mind to attack itself. "Haugh! What is this pain?!" she cried out to Trinity.

Trinity was ready to help Casandra protect her child. Damien had saved so many and brought them to their full potential, she figured this was the least she could do. Then she heard Sil screaming in her head. She brought up a shadow shield as the pain Sil was dealing with subsided. She waved away the shield only to find Crosis fighting with the light within. Sil had tried to reach out to encourage him fight it. Then the room was enshrouded in darkness. At first she thought they had been brought to the Shadow Realm, a place she had considered to be a second home. It didn't take long for her to realize it wasn't even before Alec turned on the blue lights. She couldn't sense the denizens nor did this feel like the shadow realm in fact despite them surrounded in darkness she could not sense shadows. She could not sense Sil…

[Alec] saw a strange outline at Trinity's feet.
In was a pale woman with long dark hair who was adorned in a black gown.

Silhouette was laying still on the ground at Trinity's feet. She was conscious, but it had been a very long time since she had a physical body outside of the shadow realm, and she was feeling very ill. Her silver eyes turned in Trinity's direction. "Trin...ity." she rasped while trying in vain to lift an arm.

"Sil!" She kneeled to her side and held her hand. She lost so many people close to her today. Theonis asked his inquiry and Alec answered. All seemed to be faded in the background. Then her hearing picked up 2 hours of Earth time is two years in this Death Realm. She picked up Sil hopping that she would be able to hang on long enough so that she can return her to her shadow. She figured it had to be something along those lines. Without shadows she may not be able to survive. "I'm not sure how much longer Sil can survive his realm. Any ideas?"

The senior agent looked Legio up and down, trying to see if the ate up agent was trying to play him for a sap. After a few moments he sighed, "That s**t's never gonna go away, kid. You should really listen to the doc, but after what happened we could use every available body."

"Head down to the wreckage and help the recovery crew. We haven't found any survivors, but we sure as hell found some weird people. They look like elves."

The wolf was about to commend Legio's cover story when the agent mentioned Freya's people. Her mind became troubled. If she had the chemical capability she'd be experiencing a profound sadness.

"Do you really have to go down there? What are you hoping to find anyway?"

Legio nodded and went on his way towards the recovery crew. " Thank you sir. I'll take a look at em."

"Knowledge, experiences, something....new."

"So what are we looking at here fella's? I've been informed we're dealing with....elves?" He asked the people on site when he made it over there.
