More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

While some of Valhalla had been rebuilt much of it remained the same, including the old entrance which Annie glided through using her powers. Increased water condensation for a brief moment under doors was hardly suspicious. The only thing suspicious was the naked woman that materialized, opened the door, grabbed her clothes and bag on the other side of the door and quickly dressed, apparently not bothered much by her brief streaking.

Asking a few people she was pointed to where the "Morris lab" was. "Just down that elevator," told one orderly, thinking that the woman looked familiar from somewhere, not realizing that he had run into her 13 years before.

Stepping onto the elevator and clutching her bag tightly, she took a deep breath. Preparing herself, expecting, to meet Shane Morris, not knowing about the accident with Shane nor the fact that his little sister still lived. Annie closed her brown eyes and leaned her head against the wall of the elevator taking a deep breath, thinking briefly of the deadly blow dealt against Gidget in the Leviathan battle. The Leviathan battle, Annie survived thanks to self experimentation... and the gaining of her new power "liquid body." There would have been no way to survive the battle without that ability. It is kind of hard to kill someone who doesn't have a solid body to destroy.

That was when the elevator dinged at the floor for the "Morris lab." Taking a deep breath she stepped off the elevator.

Ako didn't have long to come to a decision, and in the end it was made for him. He stood up to leave when the elevator doors opened, the sound of footsteps seeming to cement his own feet to the ground. He couldn't believe his eyes when she stepped into view. He couldn't move at all as she approached him, and he didn't want to. Now that he saw her again he didn't want her to leave his sight. He wrapped his arms around her in a strong embrace as she did the same. Even though he felt her in his arms, he couldn't believe she was actually there. The feel of her hair and feathers as they brushed against his hands just didn't seem real.
"I'm here." Here said softly, not knowing if he was telling the truth or not anymore.

Gidget smiles as her friends embrace after such a long separation. She can't help but feel a sense of ease being with two of her oldest friends.

Her gaze moves over to the newcomer, the man that was with Tansy outside. She move over to him and extends her hand out to him for a handshake. "Hi, I'm Gidget. Thank you for looking after her and helping her here."

Just as she is about to ask his name, there is another ding from the elevator. Her face becomes puzzled, as not many people have free reign access to her lab.

It all clicks when the door slides open. Gidget can hardly believe her eyes. Her voice reaching a pitch resembling what she used to do when she was about to pounce someone.

"Annie?!"

She let out a breath of air at the sound of his voice. The feeling of his arms around her brought back a strength in her she had thought that she had lost. No one else existed, until Gigdet squeaked out a name. "Annie?" She blinked, looking at Ako's face before she turned her head, refusing to let go of him.

The Count of Monte Carlo

"Thanks. Most of that was just common sense, though." Deora shrugged, trying to think up a way to change the subject. She didn't want to brush it off like it was nothing, but she was getting a little embarrassed to be talking about herself so much. She looked down at her empty plate, and back up to Justine. "So, wanna go with me to find some headphones? It should be pretty quiet, so long as we stay away from the cafeteria."

She nodded as she finished the last of the pasta on her plate. "I would enjoy coming with you." She smiled somewhat. She liked Deora. Just talking with her put her at ease, and it was a better way to spend her time then sitting and waiting until her new eyes kicked in. If she didn't do something, she would go crazy.

Annie dropped her bag immediately at the call of her name from Gidget, the sound of her voice (though a little more grown up) was familiar enough to her, and the features of the woman who had said "Annie?!" Annie knew so well.

"Gidget?!" Annie gasped, staring in shock, before bounding over and hugging her, tears in her eyes. "My God, I thought you were dead! If I knew you were alive I probably never would have joined the Daedalus Project... but that is old news I'm done with Daedalus. I could only stand being a test subject for so long until I had to escape them."

Letting go of Gidget, Annie looked around the lab, almost like a kid in a candy shop (freedom made everything seem so delicious to Annie, especially meeting her old friends), "So they sent me to Agetha Morris's lab and not Shane's. Go figure."

"Hey Ako and Tansy!" Annie said brightly waving at the two of them, smiling at the fact Tansy refused to let go of him. Whenever, Annie found Shane she doubted she'd want to let go of him either. As her thoughts turned to Shane she frowned slightly, where was he?

It was a mistake coming here. One big happy freaking reunion. At least that Gidget girl was kind enough to introduce herself before that Annie came.Ahh..must be nice to have friends. Then again all I ever did was kill mine so I guess it's for the best.
It was strange that it kinda stung when he saw Tansy hug that guy. Must have been close. He could feel himself getting more agitated by it.
Damn...didn't think it would get to me this badly. Whatever happened to not caring about anything?

Theonis leaned against the wall and crossed his arms. He decided to wait it out a bit longer. Perhaps he shouldn't even be here go.

As Annie turned around looking for where Shane might be her eyes fell upon Theonis, and Annie realized suddenly how rude she was barging in, not taking a minute to access the situation. Offering a smile at Theonis she said brightly her accent flaring up as she stuck out a hand to Theonis revealing an arm dotted with chemical burns from a time when Annie couldn't control her power, "I'm Annabella Soulsmith- you can call me Annie- by the way, sorry for not introducing myself. I got so worked up I didn't notice you, initially. It was really rude of me. Sorry, I must of forgotten my manners somewhere."

Well that was more effective than I thought it would be
Theonis gave her a bit of a smile back and shook her hand. Was hard not to notice that burns on her arm. Those weren't normal burns. They were dots. Fire doesn't cause that.So...chemicals perhaps?
"Theonis Richards, nice to meet you. So...Daedelus Project huh? You too?" He said out a bit blunt perhaps. Lighten up man. She introduced herself and she looks nice. He thought to himself.

"Yeah," Annie said, glancing over her shoulder still curious where Shane could be, wouldn't he be with his sister? Or was he too busy to be here? But, surely... focus on the conversation, Annie, Annie warned herself. Pulling her hand away from Theonis she stuck her arm behind her back noticing him notice the burns on her arm.

"The Daedelus Project, a real riot, right?" Annie said, forcing a laugh. "I haven't run into anyone else who has gone through it, too, till now, that is. I was dumb enough to sign up for it, don't ask long story... but that probably wasn't the case with you. Anyhow, enough with Daedelus, that's a real downer to talk about. What is it that you can do?"

"Ahh yeah it is depressing to talk about what they had done or..rather..what I did to prevent that." Theonis said with a bitter voice at the end. He shook his head to try and shake off the thoughts of it.

"I can manipulate and create pressure. And so far I've found so many ways to use it. I can use it to fly, nullify physical attacks, create a thick barrier..the list goes on." Theonis started to ramble a bit." I think I can create an earthquake if I mastered it. What about you?"

Annie smiled at Theonis's rambling, either one got excited by their power or hated it. Still smiling Annie said, "Basically I manipulate the molecular compound of liquids. I specialize in turning water into acid, though. Acid you could say is my specialty. My secondary power, though, is this-" In an instant Annie's body became transparent liquid wearing clothes, and the next instant Annie was back to normal, "I can change my body into any liquid of my choosing, or at least any liquid I have chosen to change into so far."

Annie shrugged at the end of her own ramblings. "I've pretty well mastered my powers by now and know my limits, but I have had thirteen years of practice." She glanced over her shoulder another time after speaking, still half expecting Shane Morris to magically appear and began to contemplate asking Gidget where her brother was.

"Well..that's....interesting. So correct me if I am wrong, you could in theory change someone's blood into acid or something? I've only recently gotten my power but I have a rather good grasp on it. Only lost control once. Maybe I'm just a natural." Theonis boasted a bit. It seemed he was in fact a bit proud of that fact. He noticed Annie kept looking over her shoulder. Clearly she had some business with someone here.

"But I don't mean to keep you from your business here."

Annie paled a bit at the mention of changing someone's blood to acid and replied curtly, "Changing someone's blood into acid or something else for that matter is completely in the scope of my capabilities. Though, it really is distasteful to jump to the worse possible uses of my power. I'm glad for your natural control, of your powers, though. Control didn't come so easily for me."

She sighed and added, "About my business here, it really doesn't matter. He isn't here, but when I do find him he better have a good excuse not being here. I didn't make my presence at Valhalla a secret."

Tansy blinked for a moment as she watched Theonis and Annie talk. She felt bad that he had to be here to see this. He cared for Angel, and here she was hanging over Ako... But she couldn't help it. When Annie spoke of someone not being here, she seemed confused. "Who where you looking for Annie?"
