More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Ravan's reflection rippled into a neutral gender less face before it vanished and reformed into Ravan.

"You're new here, aren't you?" A soft voice came from the water." I've seen everyone who comes here but I've never seen you before."

Ravan only saw something amorphous and slippery from the corner of her eyes. She screamed and threw the bottles at the water creature by adjustig their gravity toward it.

She "flew" backwards and crouched defensively. Her eyes hardened as she threatened, "Back off or I will ******** you up!"

"There is really no need for that." The voice replied as the bottles it the water. " Please, do calm down. I live here with the other aquatic meta's. It's quite peaceful here."

He let the sea around them close and rose further into the air. The boats were already making their way towards him. Something easily avoided when he rose further into the air. Legio raised his core temperature to help warm the boy up. Using Annie's powers he 'dried' off the boy.

"You are safe right now. Do not worry."

The boy, having just fallen out of an aircraft recently, clung to Legio and buried his face into the man's chest. He began to tremble with fear.

The wolf scoffed in a very Freya tone, "Smooth move, dipshit. He probably fell from one of the choppers in order to survive. The air is probably the last place he wants to be right now."

To Legio fear was a strange thing. The first time he had experienced something akin to that was during his fight with Freya.

"I am sorry. This will be over soon."It told the boy.

Legio lowered his altitude. Going down until his feet touched the water. From there on he hoovered towards the beach, where he was sure, was the FBI waiting for him. Nothing he can't deal with.

"There is really no need for that." The voice replied as the bottles it the water. " Please, do calm down. I live here with the other aquatic meta's. It's quite peaceful here."

Ravan took a moment to consider the blobs words. She was a little put off by the way it looked like he. She relaxed slightly and approached the pool carefully.

She sneered and said, "Well you shouldn't sneak up on people. I thought this was just a quiet place where I wouldn't be bothered. Glad to see my streak of shitty decisions is still holding strong."

She crossed her arms and studied the being curiously. She gave in and asked, "I've never seen a water meta that had to be in the water before. Are there a lot here?

"It tends to be quiet. Which is why I spoke up."

"Yes, there are a few that constantly need to be in the water. They no longer have lungs only gills. Others need to be near water because of their skin. They dry out quickly. They can still walk around but need to remain moisturized." It responded.

The bottles of water floated towards Ravan as if being pushed.

"Are you new here?"

Crystalion arrived with her daughter only to witness Leo shouting at a guard. Not a sight she expected to see.

"Calm down Leo. What's going on here?"

Legio lowered his altitude. Going down until his feet touched the water. From there on he hoovered towards the beach, where he was sure, was the FBI waiting for him. Nothing he can't deal with.

The FBI were indeed waiting for Legio on the coast. So were the National Guard and Daedalus troops. All with weapons drawn.

The boy looked at the beach and laid eyes on the Daedalus soldiers. He recognised their uniforms from the siege on his home. He tightened his grip on Legio's clothes and hid his face in the strange man's shirt.

The wolf cautioned, "Those are Daedalus Spec Ops. They wont be pushovers like the ones at the crater. If you're serious about saving this kid, don't engage them."

Crystalion arrived with her daughter only to witness Leo shouting at a guard. Not a sight she expected to see.

"Calm down Leo. What's going on here?"

Leo motioned over to his Liv and sighed, "Mom, thank God. Could you please tell her that Ravan isn't a danger to the facility?"

The female guard looked over to the boy's mother and smiled when she saw someone she recognised.

"Oh Liv. I didn't think you were old enough to have a child. Kudos to you looking so good."

"Anyway, Leo says he had an altercation with a young woman named Ravan. He says she assaulted him and then ran out when he fought back. The children that know her say she's prone to anger. Can you vouche for her?"

The mother made her way over to her son. Crystalion couldn't help but smile a bit more like she used to. Back when she was single and known for being...affectionate.

"Oh you haven't seen anything yet." She responded with a bit of a flirt before focusing on the task at hand again.

But what she heard didnt even sound like Ravan. Assaulted Leo? That had to be the other kind of assault. She'd never harm him. She felt partially to blame for this one. After all she did say she'd root for her.

"Yeah, yeah I vouch for her. She is quick to anger but she isn't an idiot. Think ya can check the camera's to see where she went for me? "

"Such crowd for little old me. Or...young I suppose." Legio said as he looked around. But he did follow the wolf's advise despite the increasing urge to consume them. Legio dropped through his shadow and traveled away from the group.

Kerana

“Alec,” she looked to him “you are the reason why I’m breathing right now. I know Crosis twisted your words to get his way and that you would do anything to protect me. I forgive you, I love you Alec and I always will.” caught up in the moment she placed her kiss on his lips.

Alec's eyes snapped open at the sudden kiss. He quickly got the hint and passionately returned the sentiment. After a few seconds of bliss he pulled away and looked at her wonderful visage.

He grinned and chuckled, "Heh...that was...wow."

"To hell with not making it. Now I really wanna live. Let's go knock on death's door."

With that he reached her hand to her's. If he was going to fight death itself, he was going to do it with her by his side.

"How're you holding Trin?"

“As well as anyone who is walking through the land of death and two people who are as close as family are now dead… but I guess you and I are still… alive?” Kerana’s kiss caught her eyes. She forgave him despite having decided her fate for her without knowing the full intent of Crosis. She looked to Theonis, and wondered, should she do the same? No, this is different.

Every time he and Liv were in the same room it felt like she was invisible. That her body isn't good enough even though they made love every night. She used to take pride with all the work she focused on her body to be the defender of Valhalla.

Now... with Liv in the picture, their relationship became a three-way but not the kind Theonis was hoping for. Even making love with him became a matter of keeping Liv off his mind and out of the picture rather than enjoying the moments between them. No, this wasn't just a misunderstanding, like it is with Kerana and Alec whose words were twisted to suit someone else's means. Theonis really likes Liv and the sooner she can come to terms with that, the better. She didn't say anything on this, she hoped to spend one more night with him when the world is no longer threatened, for today. Despite it all, they were good together in the sack.
