Rydia chuckled and said, "Well I suppose that would make me your first. Perhaps if we got to know each other a bit better I could be your first again?"

Heather held a hand out and put it in front of Rydia's chest. "Ease up, your bluntness. Deora is straight." she firmly stated.

Rydia simply giggled and retorted, "Oh Heather, there is no such thing as a straight woman. Only a woman who hasn't met me yet."

Heather puffed smoke out of her nostrils and glared a hefty warning at the princess.

Rydia put her hands up and laughed,
"Hah ha, I am joking of course. Although I am quite serious about getting to know her better. You also, Heather. These ears of mine couldn't help but pick up the latter part of your conversation. The names Rheum and Flint sound familiar. I think there is a chance they could be related to the ancient that inhabits Trinity, Silhouette."

Deroa's blush deepened at Rydia's offer. She opened her mouth to answer, but Heather spoke up before she could find the words. During the rest of their exchange, she remembered to close her mouth again to keep from possibly embarrassing herself. She'd learned early in life to hide her feelings for others, or she might draw attention from the school bullies. It looked as though that had backfired now, and she'd hidden her feelings toward Heather a bit too well.

Rydia's next point drew away from her embarrassment, however. She was excited to be able to work with Trinity again.

Gidget held on for a little bit longer before releasing her grip on him. She wiped her eyes, sniffled, and then wiped her nose. "Sorry, I know that's gross." she said meekly.

She looked around at her destroyed lab and sighed, "I was hoping to be done by now, but that girl really did a number on this. It's going to be at least another do or so of days without sleep to construct the necessary number of nanomachines to get you healthy again."

She then tensed in place and exclaimed, "Oh! It turns out that the girl who shot up this place is my daughter. Daedalus used one of my eggs to make her. So...yeah. I guess you're technically a step-father."

"Soooo...Surprise."
she finished with feaux enthusiasm.

This news froze Ako for a few moments. That was certainly not a piece of news he was expecting. He figured he should be angry, at Daedalus, not Gidget, but he was just physically and emotionally tired after his recent battle and Gidget's diagnosis of his disease. All he had left was a bit of his wit. He put an arm around Gidget's shoulders and gave her another squeeze as they surveyed the ruined lab. "Well, then I guess we'll have some parenting practice before you're due."

" It was not worth it. He did not keep his end of the deal. We have 5 months to prepare. I will consume. Grow in strength and let you fight him. I will devour him and his puppets. Anything that will get in our way will meet the same fate. That is what I promised."

The wolf shouted in his head, "To Hell with five months! He framed Valhala for that massacre on the beach. They don't stand a chance against the combined firepower of Daedalus and the American military. The fact that it's happening on the same day as tomorrow's lunar eclipse is no coincidence. If we screw with his plan, then we'll have five months to prepare."

Alec smiled at Kerana and squeezed her hand. He then looked sternly at Crosis and said,
"You took advantage of my despair and had me divert souls to you for two years. You're sick, Crosis.
You need to be stopped."

Crosis looked away from the group and sighed, "I truly hoped it wouldn't have to come to this, but you leave me no choice. If you will not stand aside and give this world a chance to be reborn, then you must be removed."

He threw his cloak off while he turned to face the group. In his thin emaciated chest was a glowing, blue meteor fragment. His face and body were gaunt and pale, as though he had been starving for months. He, in fact, had been having his strength and energy sapped by the stone in his chest. His sanity had also been steadily declining as he fought the corrupting effects of the meteor.

"There will be no mercy. There will be no more resistance. This world ends now!"

He opened his arms and cried out as the meteor drew in a countless number of souls from the vortex in a stream. The power from the fragment began to transform and restore Crosis' body at the expense of his mind. Though his strength was returning, his thin frame only aged and decayed more, until he was little more than bones and tattered skin. The growths on his back spread out and became wings of bone. His torso extended and produced two more arms.

He took a thundering step forward and raised his primary arms into the air to produced his death scythe. The two lower arms extended outward and produced a sickle for each hand. He readied his weapons, glared at them with his skeletal orbits, and hissed, "Come hicce. One way or another, you will claim your destiny."

Alexander send a mental message to Gidget.

"Reeaaaally hate to interrupt here. Don't gimme that look I do. But a few people dropped off my grid. Your BFF, the boss, Alec, that foxgirl and Cassandra. Right, Damian too."

He had never really known Kerana but she never struck him as much of a thinker. Let alone speaker. Especially in the face of actual Death. Both sides had a point. But no matter how noble he thought he would be or clear headed to these things....deep down he just did not want to die. His eyes were almost pulled to the glowing fragment in Crosis's chest. Souls were being dragged into it. Fuel for his power. If this was a game then that would be a weak spot. His thoughts quickly went over their current 'line-up' Alec, Kerana and Damian aren't fighters plus Damian should not fight according to Alec. Cassandra is strong but would her defenses won't work on Crosis. Trinity is a trained veteran but can't use her powers here. At least he assumed this since Sil could not return to it. That left him with....himself. He did not know his own limit after various power-ups and growth periods. Time was not given to him to figure it out.

"Aww crap." Theo muttered to himself as he drew his katana. He always had it by his side. Perhaps foolish sentimentalism but in a way Trinity would always be fighting with him. After all...he got it from her. But he noticed the subtle trembling in his hand. Making his sword sway. He couldn't fight like this.

"Damian, stay out of this. You heard Alec.....and do me a favor will ya? Give me a focused rage."

Cassandra raised her fists like a boxer but made sure to stand before Damian. That thing was not going to get past her.

Legio listened to the wolf's shouting. He could turn it off but why would he?
"He needed Valhalla out of commission for it. So it would be something they could interrupt. I intent to help. I do feel like....screwing him over."

He looked down on the boy and gently stroked his head as he cried.

"I cannot just walk around where ever I please. I would frighten people and Deadelus would come crashing down on the both of us." The water responded.

"You said this world. That makes no sense. What do you mean by this?"

Crystalion managed to find the pools again. It has been a while since she could take a swim. But she's been around water enough for one day. She heard Ravan talking in the distance and...another unfamiliar voice. Crystalion was thankful she sounded....excited instead of sad. She made her way to where the voices came from.

"Someone is coming."

Ravan was just about to answer the floating orb when she it warned of someome approaching. She quickly adjusted her gravity and pressed her back against the celing. Her heart then sank when she saw Crystalion walk through the door. She bit her bottom lip apprehensively as she thought about what the woman might have to say to her about what happened. Either way, there was no point in hiding from Liv.

The young woman adjusted her gravity again and gently fluttered down in front of Cryatalion. When her feet touched the tile her eyes attempted to look up to the woman, but she couldn't bring herself to look Liv in the eyes. She tried to speak, but no sound came out. All she could do was sand there, fidgeting with her hands, and feeling very small.

Crystalion looked around. It looked just like how she remembered it. Besides from the...watery person? But she didn't see Ravan, until she literally came down from the ceiling.

She had crossed her arms as Ravan made her way down. Judging from her demeanor she knew exactly what she had done. Knew that she crossed a line and clearly did not know how to act right now.

Crystalion made a deep sigh.

"Look at me Ravan and tell me why that happened."

Trinity’s eyes narrowed at the glowing stone. She couldn’t help but feel this seemed familiar. She looked at Sil’s chest and figured out the reason why. It was familiar not because of her own memory, but her ancestor’s. She would have to meditate to capture the detail of their confrontation all those centuries ago, but there was no time or no way to do this efficiently. Yet based on the chards that remained it was clear what needed to be done. She looked to Theo, it looked like he was at the same conclusion.

She looked to Kerana, “Hey Kerana, could you watch over Sil for me?” She paced Sil near Damian.

The kitsune girl nodded. She looked to Alec, “You got this, I believe in you.” She looked into his eyes and kissed his cheek and went to Sil’s side.

With Sil at least being looked after with Cassandra and Kerana she was able to do what needed to be done. She drew her retractable glaive and paced a steady hand on Theo’s shoulder, letting him know she had his back.

Ravan continued to wring her hands as her brow furrowed. Her fidgeting slowly became more harsh and intense as she thought back to how angry she was.

"I did just like you said. I told him how special he is to me, and that I want to be with him all the time. Do you know what he said? Okay. Oh...kay. Like I was telling him it's raining. Then he said that he didn't like me like I like him."

"So I thought if I kissed him he'd like me. I thought if I made him...feel good, that he'd want to be with me. But then he threw me into a wall."

She looked up at Liv, her eyes glistening red with tears. "I hate this. It hurts so... much."

Rydia's next point drew away from her embarrassment, however. She was excited to be able to work with Trinity again.

Heather was intrigued by the possability of getting more information, but she'd had enough of Rydia's mouth and the day in general. The dragon-meta knew that there was still a trial to be had regarding the events of the previous month. Plus there was a good chance that the next day was going to be fraught with their own little war. She needed to rest, and she wanted to be close to Liv for as long as she could.

"As tempting as that is, I'm exhausted. So if you'll excuse me, princess, I'm going to go lay next to quite possibily the best thing to happen to me and sleep."

She looked over to Deora and gave her one more hug. "Thanks for coming to see me this morming, and just now. We'll talk more soon."

She broke off the embrace and went back into Liv's room to sleep by her.

After Heather was out of sight, Rydia smiled softly and glanced at Deora with her good eye. "Mother would say it's none of my business, but I see how you look at her. But by her words and actions, Heather doesn't know how you feel about her, does she?" suggested the princess

He tensed up when Trinity laid her hand on his shoulder but quickly seemed to relax. He didn't need rage to guide him or to override his fear. No, he just needed her. She may use Shadows...but she was his light.

"Ignore what I just said Damian."

"Thank you." Theo spoke softly to Trinity.

Theo took a deep breath and closed his eyes. Even with his eyes closed he could feel everything around him with his power. This is not something to hold back against. Holding back was something he always does. Ever since it went out of control once. This is not a human being he needs to be careful with. There's no potential collateral damage to be done. This is were he could fight to kill. Theo was casting off his mental restraints. If his restrained powers were a soft creek than this was a raging river. It felt strange to have this power surging through him.

The grip on his katana tightened. Raising it above his head ready to strike.
"On my mark."

His eyes burst open, eyes glowing gold actually giving off a subtle golden smoke.

"NOW!" He struck down his sword with a massive cutting surge of power. The air itself was distorted by this crescent shape attack that shot towards Crosis's center..

She had heard what happened from Leo already but hearing her side would be good. Still...she didn't expect him to turn her down.

"Oh sweetie..." Once more she embraced her daughter and stroked the back of her head. Normally it didn't happen this often. But all of this isn't normal.

"I know...I know it hurts. He should have done it differently. But love can't be forced sweetheart. Forcing yourself on him isn't the way."

"I know it's a bit early, but I'd like to know what names-"

Gidget grumbled and felt the base of her skull where the port was.Yup, she had forgotten to reinstall the psychic scrambler to keep Alexavier from getting in her brain. It was crap like that which made it harder to talk to him than Cassandra.

"Damnit, you know I hate it when you do this.
Everyone does. Alec died a few hours ago during Charles Ray's fog attack. And what do you mean they are 'off the grid?' Not even Trinity can vanish without some sort of trace."

She looked up at Ako and sighed, "Sorry, Alexavier is sending me mind messages. Cuz using a phone is beneath him I guess."

The wolf liked what she heard from Legio, but she was heartbroken by the boy's plight.
"If you're planning on taking him to Rydia, now would be the time; before he imprints on you like a baby bird"

"Oh, and it'd probably be best to keep the fact that you killed me to yourself. Rydia and Trinity will try to kill you regardless of my current existance within you. Speaking of which, since we can converse, we're going to need to go over how I'll be taking control for a few nights each month."
