More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Crystalion smiled softly as Leo tried to make his amends. Pretending like it didn't happen wasn't the way she would have said it but it was a passing grade for her. It made her laugh the way Ravan responded to it. Glad she got her fire back. She had folder her arms underneath her chest and took a a deep breath and looked at Leo as he pleaded. A few seconds passed but she did as he asked.

"Come on sweetie, let's get some food." She said as she helped him up." Don't get too much Ravan, over-eating is a thing here ya know."

When she made her way over she took a tray and a plate. She told the others to do the same. There was so much here she had almost forgotten what it was like. She could only imagine how it was for the kids who had never seen anything like this besides in pictures. A lot of them had to be unknown as well.

She just followed the smell and ended up finding it. That mouthwatering sizzling sound of butter in the pan. So much juicy meat! Chicken, Beef, you name it. The woman loaded up her plate with not just meat not listening to her own advice. Chicken, beef, Broccoli, potatoes you name it. A nice amount of garlic butter over the meat caused it to really seep in. Oh this was heaven!

"It...weighs heavily on my mind. Just like you I thought I could do anything Thank you..." Theo responded. He did feel a weight slip from his shoulders. It may be a small thing to hear but it meant a lot to him.

"Your sister is...doing better know. We had a issue today but she is doing well now. Looks like she can switch forms at will now. Right now she looks fully human." he told the younger brother." I will tell her what you said."

Larry beamed and said, "That's awesome. She hated her body after the change. I'm glad she can like herself again. I don't have to worry anymore."

With that, his visage began to very slowly disipate, starting from his feet. His eyes twitched and then his eyebrows jumped up, as though he had just remembered something important.

"Oh! Before I go, I need to give you the thing the old windy guy gave me, or it'll go to some rando. I think he called it a boom, or something like that. Gimme your hand." he requested.

He held his hand out to Theonis, and an ethereal green wind began to swirl gently around it.

The young man smiled. It was good to see Larry happy after all of this.

Theo ignored it at first. Old windy guy. He assumed it was someone he had spoken to before coming to Valhalla. But that green ..wind? It was not part of Larry's power as far as he knew. His mind raced. A boom? A boon! Another Ancient? s**t what were those names again?

He extended his hand and took Larry' hand.

Larry took Theo's hand and closed his eyes. The wind that had wrapped around his hands snaked forward and twisted around Theonis'. After a few seconds the small gust billowed outward and around his whole body. As the gale died down, it became one with it's receipient.

Once more, the world stood still. A middle aged man with a long hair and a goatee stood before Theonis in the stillness.

"Hello, Theonis. I am Chinook, the aspect of wind's fury. I was beginning to worry that young Lawrence wouldn't have the chance to pass my boon onto you. I can see now that I should've come to you first, even if you lacked the propper trauma. Do not blame yourself for the boy's death. I am entirely to blame for his inflated sense of grandure."

"I needn't tell you what's coming. You already know. Use the spawn of Legion to finish his task, and connect the final two. Once earth and light have been brought forth, gather the eight. Then the path forward will become clear."

In his daze Damien could hear, but not see, the ancient speaking to Theonis. So that's why he was compelled to "fix" people. He was being used as a conduit to look for people worthy of receiving a boon.

This made him frown. He gripped onto Cassandra a little bit tighter as he began to question the purpose of his existence.

The world around Theonis fell into pace again. Larry retracted his hand and smiled once again. "It's a lot of responsability, but you're strong. I know you can do it!"

He waved to Theonis as his visage faded away, and the wisp the brought him forth took him back to the collective soul.

Theo's eyes followed the wind that soon swirled around his entire body. Funny how wind did fit his power.

"So this is what it's like.... Gather the rest of the Planeteers huh." He responded as Chinook finished." Leave it to me."

Time started moving again and he knew it was time to say goodbye to Larry.

"I kinda have to do it now. Can't let you down a second time. Take care Larry"

As Larry faded away his mind felt more clear than before. That's one less thing weighing him down. So now he did what he did best. Think.

He needed to learn how to properly use this boon. They needed to find the last two. Light would be obvious. Liv. His future daughter might have the same power but that was a clear no-go for him. As far as he knew she had suffered enough. Next up was Earth but who would fit that bill? Ako? Thea? The latter did use metal which came from the earth but again...he would rather not have to use her.

But one thing Chinook said got him thinking more. The final two. So the rest is already awakened. He only knew of those in this room. Trinity, Alec, Kerana and himself. Shadow, Death, Life and Wind. What was left? Water and Fire? Some other element? He'd have to talk it over with the rest.

Cassandra mostly observed what happened until she felt a small squeeze.
"What's wrong sweetie?"

Damien shook his head and muttered, "I don't like this place. I want to go home. Then I don't wanna help anyone else with my power again."

Teshoumaru phased through Trinity's grasp. He didn't respond in the slightest, and he kept looking for someone to bring him out of the haze.

Trinity frowned at this. She was hoping that she could pull him out his haze. Just as he once did when they first met.

Her golden eyes lit up playfully as she held her large paw/hand on Trinity's head. "You just have to not ******** up like I did."

She hoped her toothy, wolfish grin would be enough to reassure Trinity for now. For the time being, that's the best she could do.

She listened to the wolf that was the combination of Freya and Okami. There was still a chance. It meant a lot to her to hear her sensei say that she was trained to be better than them. It was somewhat reassuring to know that she too was having trouble figuring out his weakness. The wolf smiled proudly and returned Trinity's embrace. She wasn't ready to leave her student alone. Not yet. There was still so much to say that Freya could never bring herself to admit. Soon though. She just hoped Legio wouldn't be able to halt the transformation.

When Trinity let go, the wolf huffed and rubbed her snout with her forearm. "Tell me in person. I'll see you at the next New Moon." she quipped.

With that, the souls of Trinity's teachers returned the collective soul in the same manner as Larry before them.

All was quiet for a moment until Alec turned away from the well and swiped at the air with the Death Scythe, creating a tear similar to the one Crosis had made before.

"If everyone is ready, then let's go home."

She just followed the smell and ended up finding it. That mouthwatering sizzling sound of butter in the pan. So much juicy meat! Chicken, Beef, you name it. The kids were practically devouring the food in front of them, barely taking the time to taste it. More than a few of them had to be monitored and portion controlled due to malnourishment.

One male doctor's aid approached Ravan, whom was tearing into a plate of various meats like a starving pirhana.

"Excuse me, Miss, but I couldn't help but notice your unhealthy weight. I think it'd be best if you-"

Ravan didn't even bother looking up from her plate. She point up with her left index finger and said, through a mouthful of pork, something that sounded vaguely like, <******** off needledick."

The aid, along with his clickboard, suddenly found himself floating toward the ceiling like a baloon.

The kids at laughed at the man's misfortune. Anyone who spent enough time with Ravan knew not to interrupt her while she was eating.

Crystalion was actually pacing herself because she wanted to savoir every bite. She had discovered through necessity that she did not need to eat or drink. Turning light directly into energy for her body. It's how she survived alone and how she often skipped most meals so that the kids could have it. Her surroundings blurred. Sound seemed to fade away as she focused on her meal

"So ******** good."

She snapped out of it when she heard part of her thoughts. Only the ******** part. Which naturally came from Ravan. Crystalion swallowed her food and scrapped her through to get Ravan's attention. No swearing in front of the kids. It was one of the ironclad rules she did enforce. Her look would suffice towards Ravan. There was no need to say it. At least...the cursing part wasn't. The floating man however....

"He is here to help Ravan. Let the man down slowly." She knew she had to add the 'slowly' part or her daughter would just drop the man.

"If you eat too much you will throw it all up. Do not.Waste.Food."

"As soon as we can leave we will. You've had a rough day sweetheart. You can take it easy after this." Cassandra comforted her son as she waited for the rest to be done.

Theo listened in on the remainder of the conversation with Freya. New Moon? Could what was left of her somehow take over during that? All he could do was wait and see. He put his hand on Trinity's shoulder when Freya left.

"Are you okay?"

Ravan looked sheepishly at Liv when she heard the woman scrape her throat. In her moment food induced tunnel vision she had forgotten the "no swearing in front of the kids" rule.

When told to drop the aid, however, she couldn't help but roll her eyes and groan, "Fiiiiine."

The aid grabbed his supplies from mid air as he was lowered at the same rate he was lifted. Once his feet touched the ground, he adjusted his scrubs and cleared his thoat and stammered, "A-a-as I was s-saying...you're noticably underweight. You are the only person from this group that hasn't had a full workup done. I realize you're starving, but we need to monitor and control your food and fluid intake. You could get sick otherwise."

Ravan glared at the man and grumbled, "I don't need no workups, and I don't need no monitoring. I'm...I'm...ugh."

She could feel and hear her stomach rebelling against her. She grabbed her mouth with one hand and her stomach with the other. Damnit! She wasn't going to give Liv the satisfaction of being right.

She used her power to force the upcoming food back down, and keep it there. It stopped the immediate problem, but she felt even worse now that she was keeping down what her body wanted out.

White as a sheet, she took her hand away from her mouth and mumbled,"M'perftly fiine. Now leeme alone."

The aid shook his head and waved a few other colleagues over. "Establish a power canceling field around this young lady and escort her back to the medbay."

Ravan's eyes shot open as she dropped a fried chicken breast in order to wave her hands and sputter, "Nononono, don't do that. I'll go I'll go."

She pushed herself away from the table and followed the team back toward the medbay, holding her heavy stomach all the while.

Dawn looked down the row at her mother and asked, "Is she gonna be okay, Mom?"

Crystalion cocked her head a bit with somewhat of a frown at Ravan's response. That girl....

"The only thing hurt is her pride. Thankfully." Crystalion responded after watching the entire thing.

"Don't worry she's in good hands. If she behaves anyway. I didn't know they had others that could cancel abilities. Let's hope she doesn't force them to use it. I'll check up on her after this."

She looked around at the table. All of these happy faces. The kids were tasting things they never knew existed.

"How are you all enjoying your meals? I know you all want to eat as much as you can but stop eating when you are no longer hungry. Then...afterwards there will be something even better for all of you."

The aid heard Liv's comment about power cancelation. His power of absurdly heightened senses may not be useful in combat, but it proved handy in the medical field.

He stepped up to Liv and leaned in close so he could whisper, "Actually, you're still the only one here who can, but she didn't know that."

He winked at her with a clever grin and returned to his duties.

When the kids heard Liv mention the "something better," one little boy stood up and cried out, "Do we get to see our Mom's and Dad's again?!"

This started a cavalcade of excited gasps and murmuring. Dawn looked at them nervously. She and her brother had tried to quell the rumors that they'd be reunited with their parents, but it seemed to have done little to no good. She looked to her mother for some sort of guidance on the matter.

It was sad to see her senseis go but she did get a sense closure and peace a moment to say a last goodbye. Even though it wasn’t much of one with Teshoumaru no thanks to Eclipse. She understood what the wolf said about her still being around in Legio’s body but she wondered if she could come back on the next New Moon. Would it be a battle of wills? Or will it happen regardless? Or sadly, what if Legio is too powerful for her to come out? In some ways it may not be the last time she sees Freya. At least she hopes it isn’t.

All was quiet for a moment until Alec turned away from the well and swiped at the air with the Death Scythe, creating a tear similar to the one Crosis had made before.

"If everyone is ready, then let's go home."

She turned to Alec. She nodded, “I think we are”. Kerana nodded energetically. She couldn’t help herself although Alec had made her stay comfortable she couldn’t help but feel a little creeped out about being in the land of the dead. It looks like Damien was ready to go and likely Theonis.
