[Kaitae]

Keila rolled over with Alyssa's exclaimation and waved a hand after a moment, curling into a ball for lack of covers.
"Nuuuuu... go away! I wanna go shleepy..." she finally opened her eyes and rolled over again towards them lazily, her green eyes half open and drowsy-looking. She made the connection again with Miki's mind and closed her eyes. Shleeeeepppyyyy... echoed into both of their minds. Why did y'all have to wake me up, huh? she yawned and sat up. So what's ... going on?

(( Okay. Sorry about that. sweatdrop I couldn't get on. My play's tomorrow!! *Hence today's dress rehearsal!* ^^ LIKE SHO AWESOME. I finally got my dragon outfit today. Ish heeeaaavvyyy... @_@ And really hot. And velvety. But ish sho cooollll!!! XDDD ))

He smiled confortingly. "Don't worry, we could always go else where if you don't want to be near them," he whispered to her. "We don't need a reason, we just get up and go," he laughed. He looked up at Misa and wondered what exactly she did to make Kaori hate her; it must have been something, for he didn't think Kaori would just hate her for the sake of hating her.

Kaori blinked at him in surprise, shivering from the voice so close to her ear. "Ah, ok..." she whispered back softly, pulling the dragon into her arms. She hesitated for a moment, actually looking somewhat guilty. But then she recalled specifically the fight between Misa and her brother, and frowned. "Just get up and go...?" she murmured under her breath as she slowly stood and began walking off, though she had no idea where to. She hoped Sai would follow, as she felt rather awkward.

He smiled, getting up as well. He followed after Kaori and smiled, walking next to her. "See? Just get up and go. Wasn't so hard, was it?" he laughed. "Now, where to?" he asked, still not knowing the grounds too well.

Kaori glanced over towards him and then focused back on the dragon she held. "I don't- um... know," she mumbled, raising her head and staring around, but making sure not to look back at Misa. She sighed softly as she shrugged. "I really haven't explored enough to know where my favorite spots might be," she admitted quietly. "This place is really... big."

He nodded. "It is quite big. So then, shall we explore instead? Or, would you rather go back to your dorm?" he asked, since they'd been out for a while. He still didn't know if Meghan had been to the dorms yet, but he knew she'd be there eventually, so he wasn't so worried about her; at the moment, anyway.

"I'm not tired yet," Kaori laughed, looking around once again. "But sure, let's go explore! Er, if you don't mind.." Honestly, the dorm rooms made Kaori uncomfortable. They seemed much to nice for a homeless child like herself. "We might stumble upon Kai somewhere too," she said, feeling for some reason like she needed to offer another excuse.

[Seems like it'd still be night? ^^;]

"Yeah, let's," he smiled. "Speaking of which," he looked around, "where and when did Kai leave us?" he asked, having not noticed. He knew it had gotten quiet, but he'd never actually noticed Kai had left.

Kaori frowned slightly as she tried to recall. "Umm... He was sulking and then muttered some sort of excuse that I didn't hear. Then he just.. left." She shrugged. "That's why I was kind of hoping to find him in case something's wrong." Her frown darkened as she recalled the various fights she and Kai had already been in so far today, even though they'd just arrived. She held a hand to her head as she thought of her previous dizzying headache.

[Oh, that's fine! You saw how delayed my earlier post was. xP Hope you feel better soon!]

"Oh, I see. Guess I wasn't paying attention to that..." he said, not recalling any of it. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked, seeing her hand against her head. He wondered what had happened, but didn't want to pry into her buisness and be rude.

Kaori shook her head slightly and removed her hand, looking back towards Sai. "Uh, yeah... I just used too much energy earlier." The frown faded from her face and was replaced by an almost troubled look. She'd told him about her past, something nobody knew about, maybe not even Kai, and she'd told so easily! Chewing her lip softly, she glanced back towards him, debating whether she should tell or not. Not that it really mattered...

He turned his head, his deep, lifeless emerald eyes casting themselves upon her. "Don't look so down," he said in a slight monotone. "Come now, I can't be troubling you that much," he laughed. "I'm sure you don't like frowning, or worrying people, so why not give a smile? It seems to fool a lot of people who can't get into your mind," he said gently, a hint of teasing in his voice.

Kaori looked back up towards him again, frowning still. Then she laughed and broke into a smile, unable to help herself. Sai.. He wasn't like anyone she'd ever met before. "You're really weird," she laughed, voicing her thoughts aloud. Then she froze, realizing she had in fact spoken aloud, and looked away in embarassment, hoping she hadn't offended him. Some people back home took things very seriously.

"There we go," he smiled, seeing her. "As for that remark," he laughed, "I am in fact weird. Seeing as I'm not fully alive. Don't be embarressed; we find a lot of people weird. I know for a fact that I indeed am," he said reasuringly.


[[I stuck Meg in the dorms xDD whoohoo. she's knocked out sleeping ^.^]]

Kaori breathed out in relief, glad she hadn't offended him like she thought. Then she laughed as his words struck her. "Yeah, but..." She glanced at him. "I can't tell you're not fully alive... It seems like a pretty strange way to describe someone." She smiled faintly and then murmured, "I guess I'm strange to a lot of people too. A human ran from me earlier.."

[Kai's off wandering somewhere. >>;; And sorry! Dinner break. xP]
