More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"Indeed, if you had listened to the head of Valhalla then this would not have happened. Had you not decided to play a hero and leave your only remaining family then you would still be alive. Your misplaced arrogance lead to your death. You fought an enemy you had no information on and instead of fleeing you kept going. Overconfident in your ability."Legio retorted sounded a lot firmer and somewhat angry if that were possible.

" You were a fool and lost everything because of it." There was a small pause as the words lingered.

"But I always keep my word. I will give you a body. A second chance. As I promised."

Through the shadows Legio moved outside. Countless tendrils shot out from his body and pierced the corpses and sank into the shadow as they were absorbed. There were so many here.

Theresa had turned in mid air as she plummeted. She didn't understand the sentiment, but she wanted to face her death head on. Alone. Just like always.

She gasped as a pair of arms wrapped around her and slowed their decent. She insinctively put her own arms around the neck of the person that held her. She looked up to see Theonis. She was confused by his action.

"You, you came for me?" she whispered.

Her father had told her of Theonis' kindness, and he had proved it the day before, but he had risked his own life for her.

"Why?"

Theonis held her tight before slowing down their descent and softly landing.

"Why the hell wouldn't I?" He responded as they touched down. He threw up a thick dome around them in case of any attacks. He would never let a case like Larry repeat itself. To many lives had already been lost and besides that. His father entrusted her to him. It was still strange to have a half sister but then again...that same day he also learned he had to two future kids so normality isn't something that is standard these days in Valhalla.

Once the facility had gained enough altitude, Gidget began her counter attack. While kinetic barriers kept them safe from balistics, canons positioned around Valhalla opened fire. She made good use of the targeting software she'd developed. Whit it, she was able to disable tanks, launchers, and helicopters without killing the soldiers and pilots.

All the while she kept a close eye on the power gauge. She clicked her tongue in frustration as it had already dropped to 80%.

Then she got Trinity's...message? Gidget audibly huffed. She didn't have the time or patience to decipher emojis. Whatever it was, she was sure her friends could handle it.

Heather gave Deora a quick nod and hopped onto the ice platform. The soft scales on the soles of her feet did little to keep the inevitable chill at bay. She shuddered and reached her hand to Deora.

"C'mon!" she offered hastily.

The wolf snarled, "You arrogant ********! The Hell do you know about it? I threw myself into the fire so these damn kids wouldn't have to! Especially my damn kid! That's not being a hero, that's love!"

"Y'know what?! ******** you! I don't want your shitty promise! Nevermind that I'd be under your control, I refuse to be built on the blood of the fallen! I'm done! See you in Hell, a*****e!"

With that last curse, the wolf removed herself from Legio's senses. She retreated to the void that she had been thrust into when she was consumed. She was determined to remain there until he died, or the new moon rose. Either way, she'd be free.

The metal plate sliced off a soldier's head like a clipped flower. The others responded by moving out of the room and behind cover. While the majority of them continued to fire the black orbs, one of them took a black hole grenade off of his vest and pulled the pin. The spoon pinged off the grenade as it was rolled behind the cover Cassandra was using.

Damien was still trying to remove the black stuff with no avail. He heard the sound of something rolling along the floor and hitting the table they were hiding behind. He turned and faced the table, then pushed it with his psychic ability. The cover scraped across the floor and shoved the grenade to the feet of the firing soldiers. It detonated and took the lot of them out.

Damien used his biomass to stop himself, Cassandra, and the other kids from getting pulled into the void by forming a sort of net out of himself. Almost as soon as it started, the black hole collapsed into itself with a deafening bang. Damien then had an epiphany in regards to the black stuff. He allowed any of his biomass that was afflicted to rot and separate.

He retracted and remaining biomass and looked to Cassandra. The black stuff on her was still expanding, as were the orbs that were still in the room.

"Mom, what do we do? That stuff is everywhere, and I can't destroy it."

Alec grimaced. He shook his head and thought, "No. Not without leaving. I'm also sensing a lack of corpses, including hers. There should be a lot more. I think something is taking them. You have life's boon. Can you sense anything around us gaining power as we fight?"

Leo watched the emo kid and the fox girl seem to have a silent conversation. Whatever it was upset the girl. Dawn, however, was listening in. She heard the name Liv and began to tear up. She took Kerana's hands into her own and begged, "Liv?! Was it the young one or the older one? Is my Mom okay?" Upon hearing that, Leo also looked to Kerana with desperation.

Strength could feel something happening behind her, but then that's why she dropped her new hands to her sides. They opened, rotated at the wrist, and clapped together in an attempt to crush the blonde.

Chariot cackled at Trinity's attempt to topple her. Her right and left arms extened like something out of Inspector Gadget and grapsed at Trinity, eager to hold the woman at her mercy...or lack thereof.

Prism looked down at the bleeding Ravan and hissed a cloud of diamond dust from her mouth.

Eclipse eyed the hacking flyer. He had noticed the way Liv had swooped into save her. He called to Prism, "Hey. Bring her here."

The jeweled clone condisered killing Ravan first, as her master didn't specify what condition she be brought. She settled with just kicking the girl to Eclipse harshly in the stomach.

Eclipse caught the girl by her head and held Ravan up and out with his right hand like a palmed basket ball.

"Now everyone just calm the ******** down, or I crush this b***h's head like a nerf ball!"

Ravan dangled from his grip, her eyes squeezed together in pain. She wanted to fight back, but between having the wind knocked out of her and having tiny blades in her lungs she had no strength left. She had never felt pain on such a level, and it highly distressing to her. Her tears began to mix with the blood that was coming from her eyes. She just coughed and moaned as Eclipse made his threat

Theonis' explanation was deceptively simple, especially to someone that had been shown little compassion at that point. Theresa just held onto her brother and pondered his words and action with hed simple mind.

Once Theonis had landed, two large doors slid out overhead and trapped the siblings in the bottom floor. The overhead lights turned off only to be replaced by red emergency lights.

From the single hallway leading into maximum security came the footsteps of two expensive dress shoes. The lights slowly revealed the newcomer from his feet up as he stepped into the large circle that held Theonis and Theresa.

It started with a pair of slacks accented by a presumeably white lab coat behind them. Then a button up s**t with a tie. Finally the face of a tired, older man showed itself. His eyes were dark, and confused.

"Theonis? Theresa? What are you doing here?" asked Doctor Leonard Acula.

"Your acceptance is not a necessity. "Legio said as he pulled up the wolf's mind as if by the scruff of the neck.

"No, I would not control you. Your....kid is currently fighting him and his 3 modified clones. Clones with Ancients bound to them."

Legio floated in the Shadow Realm, extending a hand. He clenched a fist and that fist grew larger. Flesh melding together until what was left had a oval shape larger than himself.

"I had promised them to send back-up."

Parts of his creation sank into itself as if consuming itself. Steadily it become more humanoid in form. Feminine in shape but without details,

"You have plenty of unfinished business. I will give you the power of Cassandra along with your normal repertoire "

The features of the merged Freya began to surface. Eyes, ears, nose, everything The naked newly formed body of the wolf was now complete. A top layer surfaced and transformed itself into the clothes Freya was wearing before her death.

Legio transferred the wolf's conscience into it's new dwelling and detached himself from her. Hovering back a little he felt something akin to....being proud of his creation?

"Now then. Off with you."

Theo looked up when the large doors above them shut and the red emergency lights turned on. s**t, this was not going according to plan. Subconsciously his grip on Theresa got a little stronger but not painfully. As his eyes adjusted to the light he searched the area but his eyes were drawn to the sound. Just one pair of footsteps?

When the source revealed itself by stepping into the light, it definitely caught him off guard. He knew there was a chance that they would meet but he did not expect him just...walking around. On the bottom floor. Without any security. The only thing that was missing was a cigarette in his hand.

This had to be some kind of a trap! He kept up his barrier.

"I could...ask you the same thing.....Dad." Theo said but was very hesitant. On one hand it's his father on the other hand....all of this was too coincidental.

The wolf slowly opened her new eyes. She was glad to be in the shadow realm. What she wasn't glad about was being alive at Legio's behest. She didn't like being told what to do. She could feel the raw power that came from being forged of biomass with a woman named Cassandra's strength. She sut her hands to her chest and clenched her fists. She bared her teeth as a low growl began to raise in her throat.

She had been born from the blood of the fallen. She couldn't feel thenm, per sé, but she felt dirty, corrupt, and vile.

"You...son of a b***h!"

She glared at Legio, covered herself in the yellow aura, reeled her first fist back, and smashed her explosive knuckles into his smug nose without holding back.

"If that didn't register, than mark my words. When this is done, I'm coming for a rematch!"

Leonard took a few steps closer to Theonis and Theresa. He reached into his coat and pulled out a pack of cigarettes. He packed them as he spoke.

"Me? I'm the warden of the maximun security level. I was put in charge a little over a month ago. You two are supposed to be anywhere but here. Frankly, I thought you'd be smart enough to take your sister leave Valhalla. Instead you being her here...to me."

He removed one cigarette with his mouth, placed the pack back into his pocket, and then lit up with a zippo. The smoke traced his face as he allowed it to seep out of his mouth.

"And I, son, am one of the last people you should be in front of."

Theresa had never seen the Doctor act like that. She felt Theonis' grip tighten. She felt safe in his arms and held tighter to him as well.

"Theonis. Something's wrong. He's wrong." she muttered.

Chariot cackled at Trinity's attempt to topple her. Her right and left arms extened like something out of Inspector Gadget and grapsed at Trinity, eager to hold the woman at her mercy...or lack thereof.

Trinity saw this coming she smirked. She summersaulted toward Chariot. While doing so she shifted her one blade to a short sword and drew another in her other hand. She twisted her body spinning like a drill bit between her extended arms. When she landed she slashes Chariot’s shoulder dismembering her arms in the process (disarming her sorta speak). Her blades were placed on her neck then she heard Eclipse.

"Now everyone just calm the ******** down, or I crush this b***h's head like a nerf ball!"

Seeing Ravan’s life was at risk had stilled her blades. Damn it! He’s just delaying us! She did not want to loose another ally. She looked to Charriot and gritted her teeth. “COWARD!” she yelled at him. She looked to Crystalion hoping she was able to do something. Trinity wanted to rip him apart but there was nothing she could do right now not being able to connect to the darkness.

Eclipse smirked, shook Ravan, and taunted Trinity, "What you call cowardice, I call improving my odds."

The hand he was holding Ravan with quivered as the flesh split open to reveal this real hand. The gnarled, black claws dug into her head just enough to pierce the skin. His brow raised as he read her memories and made some very interesting discoveries.

He grinned maliciously at Liv and challenged, "Of course, you could just use your infinite eyes to scramble my brain. That would end this all immediately. Go ahead, Olivia, do it. Use the eyes Kae'Loni gave you."

Chariot kept the same manic smile throughout the ordeal. When her master took Ravan hostage, she took the opportunity to capture Trinity.

Her severed arms sprang to life and clapsed themselves around her enemy. The shoulders slithered back up her torso and reatached themselves with a series of clicks and clanks. She looked up at Trinity and giggled, "Isn't this fun?"

Sil's eye circled around the room for any chance to use the shadows. She cursed her own limitations and whispered, "I can't do a thing from here. I'm sorry, Trinity."

Legio remembered what she said before. About how the first thing she would do was to bash his face in. Fair is fair. He let her. However without any ground to stand on, Cassandra's anchoring didn't come into effect, sending him flying through the shadow realm with great speed. Legio allowed himself to be sent off in such an explosive fashion for it was also a good display of her new strength.

"I am looking forward to it." Legio responded in her mind. "Now...if you want to throw Eclipse off...just change into me. You know how to do it."


Warden? The last log he heard from his father was that he too would be taken for experimentation. But now he is freely walking around on this level saying he is in charge of it? Despite him working for Daedelus, his father was still in essence a good man. Showing remorse over what happened to Gidget and how he was roped into the Progeny project.

"I know" He softly responded to Theresa.

His muscles tensed up. Theo didn't want to hurt his father but...this might not be his father. Not the man he knew.

"Any chance you can just....let us continue what we were doing?"

During her brief Drain she felt something. Something...vast and deep. Very much unlike how it normally feels. Was this related to those...Ancients they mentioned? Upon seeing the impending danger she blinked away from Strength.
It was then that she saw Ravan was in danger. It was a bad match-up for her. She fired up her Alteration Field. It was an area of effect type of ability that would either debuff their enemies of enhance multiple aspects of friendlies such as reaction and healing. It didn't reach her level of healing but that was to be expected. She could further enhance the effects of using her Siren ability as she calls it. Her singing would amplify active effects on the field.

Then Eclipse took Ravan hostage. Her mind raced. She had a few options but had to time them appropriately.

"I don't know who the ******** you are talking about." Crystalion responded but mid-sentence she blinked Ravan to her side. Unlike the Liv from this timeline she had completely developed her abilities.
