Kaori blinked at Gordon's response, taking in the information quickly. "Shared body, pheonix, got it," she nodded and stood. She noted Gordon stop but was in too much of a hurry to question it. Kei moved aside so she could grab up the massive sword and then soared around her head, hovering there. "Looks like we're going to fight," she muttered grimly and the dragon growled softly in reply. "Wait here and stay safe!" she commanded and then sprinted away.
She was arguing inwardly with herself as she ran. Why was she doing this? She owed this man nothing. So why... She frowned and bit her lip as she ran, chancing a glance to the side. She nearly skidded to a halt, but forced herself to keep going. Kai and Misa appeared to be fighting! But she couldn't let that distract her now. She knew her brother could take care of himself. Besides, it'd be a good test if they really were related! She longed to stop and watch but kept going, racing towards the playground.

Kaori appeared in the distance, sprinting towards her original spot with the small red dragon soaring after in an attempt to keep up. "Oh, be quiet," Kaori panted as Kei actually whimpered. Her eyes once more fell to her supposed brother and she frowned as she saw he was still waiting for Misa to start the fight. She shrugged softly and continued past.
The bottle of green liquid was still held tightly to her chest as she ran towards the man she could still make out lying on the ground. Finally, she reached him, and dropped to her knees by his side. "H-here," she gasped, trying to regain her breath as she handed him the bottle. "He's f-fighting, should we g-go help?" Then she bowed her head and closed her eyes, focusing on catching her breath. Honestly, she hadn't waited until she was fully recovered before returning. I need to train, she thought glumly.
Then her eyes fell on the female who seemed to be drinking... blood?! Kaori scrambled slightly away, eyes widening. She'd heard of these creatures but had never seen one. So she sat, still breathing rather hard as she watched in a combination of fear and fascination.

The hairs on the back of Scytheress's neck began to rise as she felt the sudden intake of power behind her. She silently hoped that it was simply the effect of a building anger and not the preparation for an attack but her ears caught the soft hiss of metal. Her eyes flew wide as she whirled around, You fool! Scythe turned just in time to be blinded by the surge of dirt that swelled up as a dust shield and she brought her right forearm over her face to protect herself somewhat. When the blast subsided she lowered her arm and unclenched her jaw as her eyelids pried open to peer toward where she assumed Yusake would be, unknowingly holding her breath. The first thing she could make out was the slight glint off Yusake's metal arm from a ray of light that peeked through the debris but something wasn't right. She noticed the arm subtly shake before the rest of the scene was revealed and her pent up breath was released in a silent gasp.
Yusake should have known that with all the strength he posessed that an older sibling of his who undoubtably had more experience would be able to defeat him easily. If nothing else this simple evasion and counter of the Buster Shot was evidence to Kujiro's power, after all no one else had ever even dreamed of an action so bold against Yusake's attack. Though even with the boy's new injury Scytheress smirked inwardly that that big mouth had finally been shut up. Too maybe the people she'd kept at bay would understand the severity and run while they still had the chance, but an internal sigh followed her smirk because she knew it wasn't likely.
Scytheress didn't have time though to think too deeply about everyone else as Kujiro let Yusake fall and turned towards her. So he thinks he can take out everyone in the Courtyard?...May whatever gods have pity on their souls. Scytheress narrowed her eyes, gazing straight at Kujiro as he approached, defiant but there was a small gesture that would go unseen by anyone behind her for her skirt covered it and most likely unnoticed by those in front as well. Scytheress slowly wrapped her tail around her left leg, a normal thing for the Fox, she did it regularly, but the small difference was that her tail wrapped first on the inside of her leg instead of the outside. It was more a response of instinct than conscious decision to show some kind of sign of subservience to the obvious alpha of the 'pack'.
Scytheress waited for Kujiro to close the gap but he'd be halted by Reaper, Jacob, and Chryos's attempt to attack him. All the Fox could do was mutter curses for their stupidity. No one got it, Kujiro's understand and control over his power spelt death for ALL of them, or at least if they kept up their charade of strength. If they backed down maybe the rest of them would skim by with just life-threatening injuries. They don't get it Scy! Stop them! Please! The soft melodic voice cried out in Scytheress's head as the siblings and Chryos-Clones crashed in toward Kujiro. The Fox cringed from the shrillness and urgency of the sound. Bite back your tongue,Elf. She snarled as she braced her footing for the impact of the strikes on Kujiro.

Fuyumi entered the courtyard... or at least... she THOUGHT it was the courtyard. It did lie in the center of campas and um... it did have a lot of grass... flowers... and trees, and a fountain. Courtyards had those, didn't they? Hmmm... well Fuyumi wasn't really paying attention to her surroundings anyway. Fuyumi didn't seem to really care where she was at the moment as well. Students stared as Fuyumi crawled around on the ground, looking under rocks, picking apart pieces of grass, and digging into the dirt with her pencil. She was searching for her sketchbook. She remembered she was carrying it earlier in the morning. She must've dropped it... somewhere. Fuyumi looked around and scratched her head, I don't even remember BEING here. Fuyumi chuckled at the thought. So why am I even LOOKING here? Fuyumi tapped her chin and decided the best way to look for her sketchbook was to ask if anyone had seen it. She stood up and looked around at the numerous students. Some were chatting, some were just sitting around, some were having small arguements or maybe even huge battles, and others were mumbling to themselves, minding their own business. Uhh... who do I ask first? Fuyumi thought as she looked around in bewilderment. She has never seen so many people in one place before... it was pretty amazing for her. Fuyumi suddenly snapped her fingers and smiled, a sign that she got an idea. Fuyumi took a deep breathe and exclaimed, "HAS ANYONE SEEN A BLACK SKETCHBOOK ANYWHERE?! IT HAS MY NAME ON IT IN GOLD LETTERS: FUYUMI YOSHIKO. ANYYBODDYYY?!"
