Nova Blancke

The blob of water floated towards Nova's hands and stayed in between them. Slowly it froze as it began to take a shape similar to that of Shara. If he had put more time into it then perhaps it would have become a perfect copy but time was something they didn't have at the moment.

" This is what she looked like Trinity. Her hair was blonde however."

Zephyr added, "She was also incredibly flirty, and she kept getting our names wrong. I thought at first that she was doing it on purpose, but after she called the pup Alex more than once it became apparent that she doesn't care to remember."

Her eyes widen. Trinity wanted to deny it but everything sounded like her, and looked like her but it didn't make sense. "This best not be some sort of ill-played joke...that woman is dead. I saw her in our home town laying there with a pitchfork through her chest. I regretted thinking it but to me that was the brighter part on that fateful day..." she wanted to find something that would disprove that it really was her.

Nova thought for a second but came up with a possible answer.

" Well we are up against a Necromancer. I wouldn't be surprised if she really is dead. He would have mastered Necromancy in every possible if he could create something like that. I wouldn't be surprised if he did. So far there was Blood Magic and Necromancy. I do have Blood mages. So annoying to deal with."

A necromancer eh? But that brings up a much different question in Ale's mind. "But even if he were this skilled, wouldn't there be a maximum range for his abilities? I mean, no matter how powerful, any revived being could only go so far from their summoner. And also, how long could they stay alive before their sacrifice's time ran out?" He asked. He had remembered stories from the elders back when he was young about dark beings cursing the souls of the dead to work for them.

"You mean we may be getting close? That wouldn't be practical if he didn't know where I was to begin with and she was sent to find me. Could it be possible that there's some sort of charm or a token of some sort that keeps her going?"  

[Nova Blancke]

" I wouldn't be surprised if there was. That or she might not have died after all. A good healer can bring people back from the brink of death."

"Why bring her back to life of all people? She's selfish, cruel, insensitive, manipulative and has hated me for saving her life when we were little becuase I ruined her dress and has held a grudge on me ever since. I had no simpathy for her as I saw her laying there cold and dead with a pitchfork through her. The first thing that came to mind was 'good riddence' ". She steadied her breathing to calm herself down then softly asked, "Why her of all people? Why did she get to come back?..."

"Trinity, you just answered your own question. Its almost like Shara was revived or whatever just top be used against you. Think, how much you hate her, and what her characteristics are. Now put the pieces together." He suddenly called out. He didn't know for sure himself, but it was better then nothing.

"The witch reeked of death. At first I thought it to be "his" stench. After what you have explained, it could most certainly be her's."

Zephyr turned his attention to the young fox kin. "Lady Kerana, though your nose isn't as sharp as a wolf's, did you perhaps notice anything else strange about the woman?"

Zephyr nodded and said, "I'd say that about settles it. From now on the witch is considered an enemy. It'd be best to dispatch her on sight. She will have us killing each other if given the chance."

He could feel something pawing at the back of his mind. He knew what it meant, but thought it better to prolong it for just a bit longer.

"My time grows short. The pup's mind is starting to awaken."

"However, as much as it pains me to say it, she may be our only way to get to the necromancer that I have to confront. I've been trying to track him down myself, even tried tracking down the blacksmith that made his weaponry...not a trace."  

[Nova Blancke]

Nova yawned a bit. " Funny how we are on our way to study the Well and we just so happen to cross her path. I say if we keep on going towards our destination we will find her again."

"I'll make sure the pup doesn't get in too much trouble while you are away, old friend." Again. He said it again. Old friend. These words just come out without realizing it.

Zephyr couldn't help but grin at Nova. He stepped up to him and extended his hand in a gesture of good will and friendship. "I know you will old one. By the way...I like your current incarnation, but "Nova." You could have done better for a name."

Nova couldn't help but laugh. Zephyr had a point. He extended his own hand shook his. " It is a bit of an uncommon name yes, but as a baby you can't exactly tell the parents not to use that name."

The wolf's ears perked as he remembered something. He faced the party and addressed them.

"Speaking of names, I must ask a favor of you. Please do not tell the pup my name. He must earn the right to know my name, and that right can only be granted by myself."
