Kerana stroked her chin when Alec mentioned Crosis was not aware of what Damien was doing. It made her think of his repulsive reaction to him. As he went on to talk about the first time he died her heart sank. She snickered and blushed as he thanked her for his currently renewed vigor.

Kerana had mixed feelings when Alec brought up her parents. She was partly excited, yet conflicted. When she had her initial changes from the meteor showed up the next day, she and her mom's initial reaction was to go to the doctor to see what's going on and if there was some way to treat her condition. That was just the fox girl and now, even more, changes she wasn't sure if her parents would understand how it happen or why it had to be this way. Furthermore, Trinity had given her whatever update she had on them and she was having trouble locating them. "I-I don't know if now is a good time to address that." she bit her lip, part of her wanted to see if she could see them but felt hesitant.

"Ummm... about Crosis... he seemed rather, repulsed on at the sight of Damien. Do you have any idea as to why that may be? Should we too be wary about what he's doing to us? Should we tell the others about that spire on the moon?"

Theo grumbled and clicked his tongue in annoyance. He did NOT agree with this. But part of him knew this was bigger than his view on the matter. It didn't surprise him that Dad knew about Ancients. After all he had a bit of Eclipse inside of him.

"Can't that Boon be granted to me instead? I know Chinook already granted his to me but I'd rather not have her involved further in this."

Alexavier chuckled a bit after Chariot got decked. Nice one.
Seeing the spirit hands work through the girls head was...odd to see. Bet that must have felt weird if she were awake.

On one he started to open her up. Having your skull forcefully opened up? Definitely painful. He didn't care.
When the former princess pulled it out and began to seal the wound again. He made sure that it would become a circular scar. Like a wheel ya know. Since she is Chariot and all.

Alec raised an eyebrow at the apparent and palpable sense of contention that came from Kerana at the mention of her parents. He was about to ask why when she quickly changed the subject.

"Well...if there was anything that scared him it was the Hellstar. Since Damien was born from Legion, it'd fair to assume that's what caused him to react the way he did. I don't think you and the others need to worry about Damien doing his thing. From what you told me, it seems like he's only responsible for the physical changes that occur. But you went and did that on your own before he could bridge Vivi to you."

"We should absolutely tell the other's about the lunar spire, but we still have time for that. There'll be a debrief later that's going to include us. It's something I saw when I looked into Damien's future."

Alec took Kerana's hands into his and said, "And hey, about your folks, we'll go find them when you're ready. Also, if you'd like, I can look forward to see how things might go. I'll support your decision either way."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Damien shook his head and sighed, "That's not possible. Not because I can't do it, but because it would probably kill you. The human body body can only hand so much of their power, not to mention earth is your opposing element. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to-"
"What about me? My powers are similar to hers. Theonis is right. She's been through too much for someone her age." Leonard interjected.
"I could, but there is something lacking in you that the Ancient's are looking for in a candidate."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

When her skull began to split open, Chariot's eyes snapped open and she started to shriek bloody murder. She bowed her back in agony.

Rydia deftly lifted her spirit hand up and brought the dark presence along with it. As soon as it was exposed to the light it solidified. It looked like a three head lamprey eel. It's mewled and screeched as if fought against the grip of Rydia's spirit hands.

The princess scrunched her nose in disgust. The opacity of her right spirit hand increased. With one solid squeeze the creature was silenced along with a satisfying squelch. She then thought of how to dispose of whatever might remain, or rather she just then thought of it when it should've been planned out much sooner.

She looked around and found a half filled bottle of ninety percent isopropyl alcohol. She used her left hand's spirit claw to swipe off the top and placed it into a sink. She dumped the crushed remains of the creature into the bottle. She reached behind her back and withdrew her twin kodachi. She clashed them against each other and caused a spark which ignited the bottle.

She replaced her weapons, turned to Chariot, and huffed with satisfaction. "There we go. Easy peasy Japanesey."

Chariot had gone mostly silent when her head was finally closed. She stared up at the ceiling and breathed heavily. She was beginning to rethink her position on finding pain amusing, but it was quickly dismissed since she lacked empathy. However, she was still a three year old in the body of a teenager. A few seconds after Rydia made her comment, Chariot began to cry like a toddler who'd just been given a shot.

Rydia almost felt pity for the girl. She knew of Chariot's laboratory origins, and so she knew about the sped up aging. Even so, she knew not to be fooled by the moment of vulnerability. If Chariot had gotten a chance, she would've tried to kill everyone in the room.

Theresa watched as the adults argued with the teenager on her behalf. She didn't understand a lot of what was being said, but she did realize one thing the moment Leonard offered to take her place. They were trying to help her, to save her. Just like when Theonis jumped down the shaft to keep her from hitting the bottom. Just like when he saved his father from her gun.

She wanted to be like her big brother.

"Okay...I'll do it." she muttered.

Kerana could sense his question about her hesitation about her parents which was partially why she changed the subject. She nodded in agreement as he spoke about the Damien and the debriefing.

Then Alec held her hands and asked about foreseeing how things would go. She shook her head, “No, not right now… I-I want to focus on saving the world first. Perhaps once that’s out of the way I may be more at ease to approach my parents then.”

Trinity took a step back as Rydia and Alexavier decided to place their differences aside and proceeded with the task at hand. Trinity couldn't prevent Rydia's just strike if she tried, she nodded as she apologized about striking her unconscious. Trinity had something similar in mind, she had planned to attempt to calm Chariot down and ask her psychics if she needed her unconscious. She would have used targeted points to render her unconscious. Yet Rydia's method handled both with one blow.

She bit her lip as they continued with the procedure. Rydia pulled out and killed Eclipse's 3 headed eel sucker, then proceeded to burn the remains. The sprinkler system detected it and sprayed started to spray the room dowsing the fire. Trinity turned off the sprinkler system. "Thank you Rydia and Alexavier." she looked to Alexavier, "You mentioned Theonis may need similar help with his dad. Could you look into that" saying the later part to the both of them.

She opened the door for both of them and took out a towel from the shadows as well as a lollipop. Trinity planned to continue to show kindness but still was cautious due to her Chariot's nature. "I know it was rough but thank you for being brave and enduring it." She took the wrapper off and offered her the lollipop as she bit it she dried her off with the towel. When she was dried enough she took the straps off her wrists but not the rest of the straps that were keeping her in bed. She took a moment to pour her a tall paper cup of water and placed it on the table next to her. "How are you feeling?" she said at the foot of the bed.

His expression changed slightly upon seeing her...wag her tail. It was suppressed smile . As Fenris began to focus herself to took an open stance. He noticed that her surroundings began to pulse like attuning itself with her breathing. Legio knew what she was doing perhaps if she herself did not. The flickering colors told him enough.

She was in-front of him within the blink of an eye. Though he could have responded, he didn't. His curiosity outweighed his need for defense. What would she be able to do now? The initial impact did nothing. His natural defense made sure of that but the aura impacted several times quickly afterwards. It ignored his defenses somewhat. The impact caused him to skid back a bit, leaving a trail in the ground.

"Surely that's not it?"

Feeling a bit dejected after hearing he couldn't gain Earth's Boon to spare his new half-sister, he listened to his dad offering the same thing. Which made sense. He wouldnt want her to continue a life of pain either. Plus it'd be somewhat of an redemption move for him.

"It's proper Trauma...at least...that's what Chinook said. Something like that anyway. I lack that too it seemed but he seemed to be alright with that."

When Theresa responded he made a fist which turned white for a moment before letting go." Theresa....I'm not sure what will happen in the end but I know that it's going to be very hard and painful."

Alec nodded solemnly and simply said, "Okay."

When he thought about it, he actually knew very little about the specifics of Kerana's life. He could tell right away that she was the sort that stood out like a ray of sunshine through storm clouds. People just seemed to be drawn to her whereas those same people tried to avoid Alec. Guess it makes sense in the end. Who wants to be close to death. But what he knew the least about was her relationship with her parents. She was worried for them sure; especially her mother. But what was it like beyond that.

His parents interacted with him at a bare minimum. He was brought up in a strictly religious household that required that children be seen but not heard. It took a lot of persuading on his part to be allowed to take music lessons. He wanted to learn guitar, but in return he had to learn piano. He actually didn't mind it so much. A lot could be expressed through either instrument.

Which reminded him.

"Say, when we're done with our food, can we go to the music room? I want to show you something I haven't shown anyone else." he requested with an uncharacteristically cheerful lilt in his voice.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chariot's weeping slowed to a sob when Trinity popped the lolly into her mouth. She had never had anything sweet before. Like Theresa, Chariot had never had anything that didn't come from a tube. It was an experience that calmed her simple mind. To make matters better, the sensation of being dried by a towel soothed her more than she was capable of describing. When her hands were free, she brought them up to the lollipop stick and kept them there. Her crying had completely ceased. Her head still ached, but Trinity had made things better.
She looked over at the cup of water on the table. She cautiously took it in her right hand and attempted to sniff it, but she had difficulty getting it around the lollipop stick. She grumbled in frustration because she didn't want to take the sweet hard-candy out of her mouth, which caused her to only half hear what Trinity had asked. She finally managed to work the candy between her teeth and her left cheek and slurp some of the water into her mouth. What didn't make it into her mouth dribbled onto the hospital gown Rydia had put on her.
It only then occurred to her that Trinity had asked her something. Thankfully the memories of the five girls was exceptional. Her demeanor was much less maniacal since the thing had been removed from her brain. Chariot was still a sadist, and a sociopath, but she wasn't at the moment solely driven by that.
"Wha? Oh! My head hurts, but this colorful hard thing in my mouth is really good. I want more." She demanded.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Fenris was surprised by the reaction her strike had. It was then she realized that she'd created a new aura. She looked down at her hand and body once he'd skid to a halt. It was iridescent. She had no idea what that meant since she'd never used it, never mind worked with it. Then he spoke.

"Shut your gob! I'm working on it!" she called back. The pulse of frustration and anger caused the array of color to become more yellow and red. She didn't think that was possible. She'd attempted it before, but it nearly tore her body apart. In fact, she could feel a similar violent tug. The only thing that was keeping her together must've been her new composition of biomass. She clasped her hands into the Zen position of the Kunji-in and focused on calming her mind. The aura leveled out and became as it had been. She took a deep breath and felt out how her power was reacting to her emotions, or rather lack of, in a more destructive manner than before. Then it clicked. Her father didn't mean that being calm like Teshou would make her stronger. He'd meant that her calm would be counterbalanced by her anger. The greater the storm, the more silent the calm after it had passed. Her Yin was equal to her yang.

Why didn't he just say that?!

She shook her head softly, and took another deep breath. Fenris could feel that the aura was incomplete. She had so much baggage to sort through. Even if she could maintain a state of Zen it wouldn't be for long. She decided then it would have to be long enough.

The environment around her reacted to her breathing again. She visualized an orb of darkness. Black was a color comprised of all others, so she focused on separating each one until the orb more resembled a clear crystal ball. Once she had it in her mind, her aura snapped into completion. She held onto that feeling and opened her eyes.

The light that surrounded her was without reason, form, or rhythm. It reflected the freedom Freya and Okami had always desired. Fenris took a few steps toward Legio. The aura moved both before and after her. Where it stepped, she stepped, and then it stepped again. She didn't take a stance. She didn't feel that there was any need to.

Fenris seemed to glide as she closed the gap between herself and Legio. Her movements resembled less of a martial art, and more of a free form dance. She lashed out and struck at him with a series of flips, hands stands, slides, and leaps. All the while, her aura would sometimes move before and other times after her. It did so without any pattern in order to keep her movements as random as possible.

Theresa bit her bottom lip as she considered what Theonis said. It's true, she didn't enjoy pain. Then she thought about the throbbing in her hand. She looked down at the dressing her brother had put on there. She her injured hand and held it to her chest. She looked up to Theonis with determination in her eyes.

"One more time. I can do it if it's the last time I have to fight. And...you'll be there with me. We can keep each other safe, kill the bad thing, and then never fight again. I maybe wont wake up again, but at least I wont have to hurt anymore. I can be safe. At peace."

Damien plopped his closed right fist down onto his open left palm and exclaimed, "That's what it is! I thought there was something weird about her mind. She has three people in there."

"Correct." Leonard confirmed. "Theresa had dissociative personality disorder. The girl you see before you is the personality that is dominant when there is danger. Another comes forth when she's safe, and the third only when a trigger phrase is said within earshot of her."

Damien mulled over it for a bit and then nodded with a smile. "I actually think I can fix that." he declared with the utmost confidence.

Rydia had swiftly and non-verbally taken her leave of Chariot's room when Trinity began to tend to the little psychopath. She knocked on the door to Leonard's room and spoke loud enough to be heard through the door.

"Theonis' Dad? My name is Rydia. I'm here with a psychic to get that thing out of your head."

Trinity observed her as she appeared to enjoy the lollipop. It was just like Theresa when Theo gave her a lolly it was as if she never had one before and did the trick in calming her. "You can get another one but you will have to earn it. Plus there's a whole world of food your tastebuds have yet to explore. We'll get there but first least earn the next lollipop." She noticed she seemed different after the thing was removed from her head, no longer currently wanting to kill or harm or asking about her version of "fun". "Let's talk about Eclipse. What is he and your sisters are planing to do next?"
PostPosted: Mon Jul 13, 2020 3:33 am
Theo looked at Theresa and his heart sank. This was too sad. Depressing even. Created to take the pain and destroy whatever caused it and in the end she'd just vanish? Her biggest comfort was him being there for her. She'd be just another person he could let down by ******** up as he usually did. He took a deep breathe and put his hand on her head, slightly ruffling it. He was going to say something but just nodded a bit. He wasn't happy about it but it was her choice.

Then Damian offered to 'fix' her. It added to his bad mood. It just irked him. He knew she had multiple personalities but could mean that either 2 of them vanish or all 3 would become one. A new one. But before he could respond there was a knock on the door. Which came from....Rydia and a psychic.

"Fine, come in." Theo responded.

Chariot studied Trinity while she clasped onto the stick of her lolly with both hands like someone might take it at any moment. She liked Trinity. She didn't understand why Eclipse was so eager to kill the nice lady. Sure she'd split Chariot almost entirely in half when they fought, but she was also being given sweets in exchange for talking.

"The master, um, heee said that...what was it? OH! He said that he'd go to the moon at the next egg lips and free the big monster, and that Prism would make a giant crystal to make that happen." she said bluntly.

She then put her left hand out with her palm open and looked at Trinity expectantly.

Silhouette, who'd been observing silently, felt a slight pull on something deep within her memory. It was when Chariot mentioned the moon. The Ancient could see incomplete traces of a tower set against the night sky.

"The moon...I-I think it's very important. Damnit! I can't remember! Whatever it is, it has to be something that he doesn't want me to know."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rydia let herself in and was taken aback by the number of people in the room. The tension in the room made her hair frizz slightly. "Oh! Pardon me. Erm...should we come back later?"
Damien replied, "I don't think so. Theonis, his sister, and I should probably go somewhere else to take care of this anyway."
He looked over Rydia's shoulder to Alexavier and chirped, "Good to see you getting more involved, Dad. Before today I thought you'd become one with the chair in our dorm."
Leonard looked over to Theonis and Theresa. "If the screaming I heard earlier is any indication, you should probably go with the young man. If...if I don't make it, or something happens to me, please look after each other. Theo, tell your mother she was right. Theresa, I'm sorry for everything that has happened to you. I hope, when you better comprehend things, you can find it in yourself to forgive this naive old man."
PostPosted: Mon Jul 13, 2020 9:38 am
Theresa felt her face become warm when her brother ruffled her hair. It was a good feeling that she wished would never end. She was about to ask Theonis what Damien meant by "fix that" when Rydia and Alexavier's entrance made things a lot more chaotic. She stayed silent and observed until the doctor spoke to them. When the doctor mentioned her possibly forgiving him, she could feel her jaw tighten. Theonis had used that word earlier, but she still didn't understand what it meant. All she knew was that the doctor asking for it from her made her stomach and chest feel bad. It was a feeling she didn't understand and liked even less.
She wrapped her arms around Theonis'. She kept her gaze low and asked him, "Can we go get the thing now? I'd like to hurry."
Kerana’s eyebrow quirked “Oh?” she had no idea Alec played an instrument. She rested chin on her hand and looked into his eyes, smiled and said,”You’re full of surprises aren’t you?” Her tails wagged with excitement. They finished their meal and Alec took her to the music room.
