Fenris slowly craned her neck in Legio's direction with a simultaneously annoyed, angry, wild, and bewildered look in her eyes. "Oh go eat a giant bag of dicks you fair faced ********! You suck, more now than before, because you had the ******** audacity, to use my memories of my father to get into my head. It was one thing when you just quoted him, that I could kinda appreciate and might've actually thanked you for. But then...then...you had to go and put his face over your smug-a** one! I'd ask if you realize how ******** up that is, but of course you don't!"
She grunted and hoisted herself into a seated position. "And for your information, I couldn't really pace myself if I wanted to then! Whatever that aura is, it responded to you and made me wrong on pure instinct so that there'd be no real pattern to my movement! It paced itself to you! This body is still very new to me, so I don't know it's ins and outs. We, and by we I mean real people, aren't born just knowing how s**t works! I was just starting to get it, but then you..,fu-cking YOU...put my Dad's face on your SMUG-a** ONE!"
She grabbed a clump of soil and threw it as hard as she could at Legio's head. She knew it wouldn't really hurt him, but the act gave her the smallest sense of catharsis. "I'll keep feeling pain if I goddamn want to! It gives me some semblance of humanity. You gave me this body which, again, I didn't WANT...but I will use it as I see fit! I'm not your ward, your student, ******** whatever else! You may have Freya and Okami's memories, you may know their past, but you don't understand it! AUGH! I've never known someone who pisses me off this much, and that is REALLY saying something!"
She brought her knees up to her chest and placed her hands over her face in such a way that allowed her muzzle to still be exposed. She huffed with exhaustion and frustration. Without a shift in her position she growled, "And I swear to GOD! If your say some s**t about throwing a tantrum I will obliterate both of us with the black aura and ******** love it."

Kerana was pleased that she got to meet Theresa and for a brief moment forgot for a brief moment what was going to happen next.
BeaMichelle She was about to ask Kerana what sort of animal she was when she heard tortured cries echo around her from behind. She was about to turn around and look when the dark boy forced her head back around to look toward Kerana. The screaming reminded her of the playground. She instinctively put her arms around the closest person that made her feel safe. In that case it happened to be Kerana.
Alec took action to keep Theresa safe then she held her tight. Which since she hardly knew her it felt unexpected but with the screams it was understandable. When the screams began she lowered her ears to drown out the sound and closed her eyes for good measure. She did her best to calm the girl that was holding her and returned the hug rubbing her back. "It's okay, it's going to be okay." Seconds later there was silence.
Rikki Tikki Travi ... ... Alec took several breathes as he tried to calm himself. Without prompt he grabbed Rydia's discarded eye wrap and a waste bin. He placed them both next to her and then turned his attention to Kerana and the girl that held her.
"Are you guys okay?" he asked with an exasperated huff.
Kerana nodded in response to his question "Yeah, I think we are." She looked at Theresa to confirm. She let go of her to rub her ears a little. That was rough. I know that must have been... unexpected but it was something that had to be done. I'd be happy to explain later.
"It looks like right now we have to hear what she saw." She sat on the floor with the rest of the group was and pat the floor next to her for Theresa to join her with a smile. She figured there was a reason Theonis brought her here may as well make the most of it.

Gidget felt a huge weight come off of her shoulders when Trinity explained her and Sil's condition. With how the ancient had been affecting Trinity the last month she was half afraid that her best friend would end up crazy too. She was happy to see that wasn't going to be the case.
She heard the sound of plastic rolling on tile and looked over to see that Ako had offered her a chair. She smiled in appreciation and gladly took advantage of his kind gesture.
Alec sighed with relief when Kerana confirmed that she and Theresa were alright. Then came Theonis' question. At first Alec was annoyed by what he initially felt was an accusation of putting the group in danger by not warning them. That was quickly replaced by confusion and doubt as he tried his best to recall if he had actually seen what had just happened play out in his future vision. Upon further reflection-
"Ah...no. No I didn't. That shouldn't be possible. Now that I think a little harder on it, there was a gap where Rydia started and then stopped. But it's not like there's a black space. It was like a poorly edited video, just a jump. I didn't think much about it because it didn't seem important and we were all alive, but I think that eye actually caused my future vision to, for lack of a better description, glitch out."
Rydia groaned, "That really isn't important right now. Could you please be quiet so I can relay what I saw?"
"Just a moment longer. They should be here right about-"
Heather and Deora stepped through the still mangled doorway and took a second to get a good look at all the people that were gathered and how a few of them looked like they were recovering from a nasty hangover.
"Whoa. Did we miss something?" Heather asked.
"We thought we heard someone yelling in our heads." Deora added. "For some reason we both felt like we should be here."
With everything that had been explained to her, Gidget had a feeling that they felt it because they were part of what Alec had call "The Eight."
She nodded and gestured towards what empty chairs were left. "It's a good thing that you're here, girls. I'm pretty sure what the Princess is about to tell us involves you two as much as it does Trinity, Theonis, Theresa, Alec, and Kerana."
Heather and Deora looked at each other, then back at Gidget and the others. Their sense of dread could be felt by each other and only served to make it worse. They each grabbed a chair and took a seat, their ears ready to take in what Rydia had to say.
Rydia wait a few more seconds after the fire and water metas took their seats so that everyone had a moment to listen up. With a deep breath, a long exhale, and a rub of her temples with her fingers she began to speak in a tone that was both tense and exhausted.
"So...I don't even know how to soften what I just saw, so please don't be cross with me for just telling you exactly what transpired in Silhouette's past...and beyond. What she told some of us yesterday isn't entirely accurate. It's through no fault of her own, not just because of her brother, but because the act of coming to this world caused fifteen of the Ancients to forget some of the most important details. Actually, I think it might just be easier to start from her earliest memories."
"Their world wasn't the Utopia that her mother supposedly told her it was. It was advanced, yes, but it wasn't perfect. She was born into conflict, and it was with the bio beasts created by many Legionesque horrors. Her people, the Primantigua, were being guided by small group of immortal people toward victory, just like we are. Those immortals led eight of them to the moon to eradicate the Hellstar, just like she's doing."
"What they found, though, wasn't a means to destroy the Hellstar, but to reset everything. The immortals didn't know, just like the Silhouette and the other fourteen don't know. When Coia, or Anima as Silhouette would know him, looked into the past of their saviors, he found that the immortals had been lied to as well, but not knowingly. He suspected, just like I do, that this is an event that has repeated itself since time immemorial. At some point, an astronomically long time ago, someone on another version of this planet first encountered the Hellstar, and when faced with certain death, decided to send eight people to an ancient world and try again. But something went wrong, and the process of resetting the world altered their memories."
"It's happened time and time again. Eight people are sent back (some immortal, some not) they forget things, they try and pass on what they know before the coming of the Hellstar, but it results in the same thing each time with a different group of eight people. But there was something different about the parents of the Primantigua, they didn't go back. They knew that their status as the Eight allowed them to use their powers in a way that would grant their children immortality and keep the Hellstar at bay for an extended period of time. They entrusted their knowledge among sixteen children and sacrificed themselves to make sure that they would have a way to recover their lost memories. They imbued the reset planet with their own souls so that there'd be an abstract record of the truth. When Silhouette and the other Ancients awoke in the new world, they'd all forgotten the truth as had happened every time before...all but one."
Rydia took a moment to rub her hands together and steady her nerves. When she was ready they spoke again. "Eclipse was the only one who retained the truth. He knew, but he kept it to himself. Silhouette didn't realize until it was too late. By the time she began to piece together that he was hiding something, he'd arranged a way to corrupt her body and her mind. He then began to systematically orchestrate the death's of the others save for Crosis. She knew this because he'd come to where she'd been locked away and gloated before he'd wipe her memory again. It was then that he told her of his grand scheme."
"As a boy, Eclipse used his power to try and read the memory of the Hellstar so that they'd perhaps find a way to kill. Anima had told him not too, since his own father had been driven to suicide by using his infinite eye to attempt the same feat. But the boy didn't listen, and he did it anyway. He was touched by the unfathomable mind of a creature that'd fed on countless worlds but kept being halted when it came to this one. The creature revealed to him that the world had not been reset as many had been made to understand. Every attempt at starting from zero was actually a jump to another point in time for that world. Each jump somehow resulted in a copy of the creature. The creature was one with every other instance of itself and thus was made to exist in all moments in time. Eclipse saw this and lost his mind. The other's thought he was simply traumatized by the event, and maybe he was, but it was then that he started to wonder if perhaps killing the Hellstar was impossible. Perhaps there was some other way to handle it."
"His momentary connection to the Hellstar allowed him to understand that time is not actually like a branching tree limb, a river, or even an ocean. It is like drawing countless lines on a sheet of parchment and then rolling it into a ball. What he attempted to do today, and what he plans to do in five months, is to break the Hellstar's seal, possess it, extend his consciousness through all of space time, become a god, and use the Hellstars collective power to recreate existence as he sees fit."
No one said anything, but the pallor of their skin and the expression on their faces said everyhing.

Heather was still trying to come to grips with what had just been revealed to them. It was all just...so huge. Just over a month ago she was a lizard-meta living with a group of runaways and just living day to day with her not so little brother. One month later and she's a dragoness, Lawrence was murdered, and she was awaiting trial for a revenge killing. A week after that she's abducted and forced to assist in the genocide of hundreds of people the day before her new home is attacked by Daedalus and the US military.
Then her eyes caught the shift of the light spectrum. She watched it gather into the woman she adored. Liv. There she was, and every last part of her was intact. Heather quickly forgot about the world shattering revelation and leaped from her seat toward the new arrival.
Just when she got close enough to reach out and touch Liv she let out a shocked gasp and brought her hands to her mouth. The color left her face as she took in what her eyes saw. It was dried, but the area around Liv's jaw and below her neck was covered in what had to be her blood. The front of Liv's uniform was stained in a pattern that suggested blood had pooled under and around her. The smell of blood, carbon, burnt skin and hair still lingered from the kill shot.
Her hands shook and her golden eyes glassed in preparation for the coming onslaught of tears. She shuffled up to Liv, reached up, and cautiously touched the clean part of her cheek as though it would shatter at the slightest bit of pressure. It was real. She was real. Heather brought her other hand up and cupped the blonde's face in her hands. Liv's eyes were both there. Those wonderful baby blue orbs. She started to wonder if she had imagined seeing one on the roof earlier.
Like an out of control freight train the horrors of the last month hit the dragoness and derailed any attempt to maintain composure. The blood from Lawrence's chest. The fire and screaming from the floating island. All the dead citizens of Valhalla that were killed by her father's power. The battle that morning. Finding what was left of Liv Crystalion on the roof.
Heather slipped her arms under Liv's and desperately drew the light-meta close as close as she could. She wept openly and held onto Liv's torso as though there were a danger of the woman floating away. She buried her face where Liv's neck and shoulders met, not at all concerned about the amount of dried blood that was there.
"I was so scared! When I saw! I thought you'd! But then! I wasn't sure! Oh! OH LIV!" was what she attempted to say. What came out was much less intelligible.
Deora stood up and watched as Heather embraced and wept over the woman the fire-meta wanted. Her heart ached, but not for the reason she thought it would. She was glad that Heather wouldn't have to mourn the loss of another loved one, but she knew that eventually things were going to become much more complicated and stressful. She wiped a happy tear from her eye as she vowed to herself that she'd follow Rydia's advice and be the one that Heather needs.
Ako and Gidget shared looks of shock. She'd told Ako not even an hour ago that Liv was one of the vitals that she saw flatline on the monitor. Yet there she was. It was easily apparent to Ako that whatever had killed Liv was powerful and violent. Gidget's sense of smell was improved due to the pregnancy. She only caught a small whiff of what Heather had, but it was enough to trigger a gag reflex. She quickly covered her mouth and nose then burried her face in Ako's Chest. He started to rub her back in an attempt to calm and comfort her as she fought the urge to vomit.
Rydia was confused by Heather's reaction. She was also slightly vexed by the timing of Liv's arrival. She was happy to see the woman her mother had entrusted the complete infinite eyes to was alive and well, but it was at a moment when the focus needed to be on what she'd seen in Silhouette's past.
That's when her animal senses picked up on what Heather's had. Her vexation quickly became concern. She wanted to inquire as to why she looked the way she did and smelled of death, but she thought better of it in consideration of the fact that Liv wasn't the most important thing at the moment. Well, too all but Heather at least.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fenris couldn't believe that she'd been laughed at. At least he had the sense to apologize. She pulled her hands away from her face and glared at him petulantly. If she wasn't covered in fur she'd have been beet red with embarrassment and anger.
She watched him attempt to recreate the what she'd decided to refer to as the prism aura. It wasn't nearly as brilliant as hers had been. She couldn't help but grin with a sense of pride. She decided to offer a theory.
"M'yeah, but I don't think it'll be as effective for you. You've got the right idea, but it's still missing something. It didn't really click until I let go of my angst. It felt sorta like this."
She reached between them and drew a straight line with a small triangle bellow it's center. An example of a lever simple machine.
"This plank is my state of mind. This side, let's call it yin, was stacked with all of my hatred, sorrow, rage, and regret. It's heavy, but when I let it go, it became much lighter and allowed it to shift toward yang. It was that shift that caused the aura to replicate itself and act independently from me. It's like Father said. I could be so much stronger if I just let go. He must've known that the beast in Freya, no matter how domesticated, wouldn't allow her to be at peace. But if she...I could channel it toward something positive then the contrast wouldn't be balanced, but exponential. Like releasing air from a balloon. "
She became silent suddenly and wrapped her arms back around her knees. She sighed and stared at the ground in front of her. "I don't know why I thought to share that with you. It's not like I'm telling you something you don't already know or haven't figured out already. I can't think of any other reason why you lecture me after being alive for, what, a little over a month? And then only really fighting for the last two days."
She tightened her grip around her knees. Her eyes seemed to peer beyond just what was in front of her. "But then maybe that's it. Not only are you ridiculously powerful to begin with, but your innate intelligence allowed you to process their experiences better than I ever could. It just makes me feel so...useless."
She rubbed her eyes with the back of her arm and chuckled cynically. "Don't mind me. I'm too dense to actually be deep. That was Teshoumaru's wheelhouse. Freya, and so I, am just an overemotional, stupid, hothead with an inflated confidence that comes from nothing."
But then he already knows that too, she thought.
"Can I ask you for a favor?" she asked with a hint of exasperation.
