More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Theo wanted to calm Leo down when he went on his rant but he stopped himself when he observed his surroundings. It was hard to even imagine what they went through.

Not very confident in his powers or maybe he thinks he's no match for me or...his dad?

They left and it wasn't long before Leo mentioned what Dawn did. Trinity still hasn't spoken to him about it. He wants to give her some space but on the other hand, he really wants to confront her about it. You don't just walk about on someones life without a word. How can anything be fixed if there isn't even an attempt?

He sighed "Yeah, she broke up with me because of that. Just straight up ran off. She's an emotional woman. Just wished she'd at least try and talk to me about it ya know. Anyway, that's not your problem so don't worry about it."

Few more seconds passed. "So uh.... show me how fast can you go."

"It's obvious you are holding back information Alec. Speak your mind." Legio stated as he crossed his arms as he started out onto the ocean.

"As for that child, he should be among his own people. Not with one that consumed one of his royalties. He is part of an extinct race. It would be best for him to remain with his people. The few that are left."

This was not what she expected from Heather. She hugged her tighter.
"Hey, come now. I am okay with you. Kissing you is going to be very difficult when you go...ya know...full dragon. But I know who's on the inside and that is an amazing person. You're just as strong as you are beautiful. I don't do relationships very well....but I want to with you. You are worth it Heather. Don't forget that." Liv said with a loving smile and kissed her forehead.

Leo stammered, "Oh, um, yeah...okay."

He took a deep breath and adjusted the pressure around him. He didn't want to be too close to Theonis when the shockwave occurred so he moved a little behind. It took a few seconds but he managed to surpass the sound barrier and release the wave which created a sonic boom behind them a moment later. His speed leveled out immediately after.

Alec paused for a moment as the thought of a way to find a loophole around his literal gag order. "Hooboy...okay. So, like I said before, I can't tell you everything until you verbally confirm to me that you are ready to make the big choice here and now. What I can say is that you probably shouldn't count on being the same person you are now. Things could, y'know...change."

Heather held onto Liv like she could float away at any moment and allowed herself a moment to cry. It wasn't all comfort, though. There was also an immense feeling of guilt. Guilty because she was being selfish at that moment by making herself the center of attention when Liv was the one who died and came back to life. Guilty because less than two hours before she made out with Deora just to test a theory. Guilty because she knew Liv would come back and she did it anyway. Guilty because she had to disappoint Deora, who'd poured her heart out to Heather. Guilty because she knew she couldn't tell Liv what happened. Not yet, at least. Not right after Liv had said-

"Did, did you, say that you...love me?" she asked with a faint intonation of hope.

"Since you're here until sunrise, and you saved my life, I'd like to offer you an ear. It's the least I can do. So, is there anything you'd like to get off your chest?"

"Pretty much the drinks resolved what's been weighing my mind since there's nothing more I can do about the deaths of those on the floating island whom I assured would be safe but was wrong about that, or the deaths who of the citizens of Valhalla, or Teshoumaru's fate."

"As for the last thing well… it's been established we are on opposite sides on that matter. I know I did the right thing and I plan to talk to him. And no, I will not be crawling back to him to ask him to take me back. So, yeah, I think I'm good." she folded her arms and sighed.

Silhouette listened and watched Trinity speak. She paid especially close attention to her host's body language and choice of words. She had a hunch that Trinity still had more weighing on her.

"Men are stupid, and young men tend to think with the head between their legs. But to his credit, he behaved himself as I made advances, both sultry and agressive, toward him when I had control of your body. But of course, your life is your own. I simply offer advice from my ages of existence. That is the last I'll speak of the topic unless you wish to, how do you say...vent.

"As for the drinks 'resolving' your trauma, I'm afraid you're either mistaken to lying to yourself. Eventually the haze of inebriation will lift, and your regret will still be there. As you've just seen, regret is something that will eat away at your mind and body. You've experienced a lifetime of despair in just one month, and it will leave scars. But there healtheir ways to ease the pain before you are able to move on from it, if you'll allow it."

Silhouette pivoted on her hips and held her arms out and open to Trinity. The flowing sleeves of her dark dress draped down like a blanket primed for warmth. "We may not have many more moments where we can talk face to face. No powers. No tricks. Just an opportunity for you to truly let go without the worry of what the others will think."

Liv just rubbed her back a bit then stopped when Heather confronted her with something she said.

"I...huh...I guess I did say that. That's not....something I say so easily." Liv said a bit confused at her own words. She did already ask her to make them official and she even went to that island to take her back.

"I do...I do love you."

Okay that was to be expected. After all he heard that sonic boom when he first arrived. Theo sped up himself and quickly caught up.

"Okay, okay. How well can you feel the pressure around you? All you have to do is basically force it through a narrower funnel to go faster."

"I will not play this game Alec. I will not have others dictate my future. I do not care for their designs." Legio stated as his mood shifted a bit.
"I prefer freedom, not knowing what the future will bring. Your gift helps you but it robs you of true freedom. You limit your choices. I understand you have need of it to help everyone. But do not overly rely on it." His mood became lighter once more during this and he placed his hand on Alec's head.

"You have a good heart. Try to keep it that way. I am sure there will be choices to be made that would test you."

Crystalion recognized those hunter types. As if they were bred to hunt down humans. They were lethal and she had seen those tear down survivors. They could be fooled once you knew how they worked but it was with risk. If those 2 were....guarding that place, it must have been important. Was this a form of mental defense? The other place was unguarded. But it could be a trap. But she didn't survive all of these years without learning how to effectively kill these things. Even with children in tow.

"It's almost over sweetie. Bad things are over there. So we're going to the other spot first okay?"

She made her way over to the darker spot and gradually increased her own readiness to strike down anything that would leap out.

"So I've been told" Cassandra responded."This is not Daedelus, there is no playground here. So behave." She let go of Chariots head.

"Don't move." She told her as she walked around her and took hold of a lolipop that was stuck in the mass of hair. Her other hand pinched the hair just above it so it wouldn't hurt when she pulled out the lolipop. She repeated this until they were gone. Not a method she preferred to do with kids but this....was hardly a kid. Still, if she could avoid hurting her like this, she would.

"Try not to get any more stuck in there."

Trinity listened carefully. When she made her comment on men, At least there's something we can agree on . Though regarding Theonis even though behaved himself with her advances did not erase the look she observe him make. She could almost hear him say it, that he wished it was Trinity in control of that body. It's the same look she's from previous relationships, looking at another woman with curves and in her case, usually a blond. Then she goes on to criticized her method that has worked for years, after so many times saving Valhalla or the world. It became painfully clear that Sil had not taken consideration her past experience both her love life and her job.

She eyed her warm offering it reminded her of her mom, a mom she had and lost, she got up. "So this is 'the other way' you speak of? Thanks but no thanks. I know you mean well Sil but I don't need another mother mine died years ago and I've learned to live on my own and stand on my own feet. I find it rather naive for an ancient being to try to meddle with something that works. You seem to treat this like this is my first time I'm saving the world or that I've never had a relationship before. If you had taken some time to understand the amount of stuff I deal with to keep the world safe you'd understand that this sort of s**t happens in my line of work everyday. As for Theonis, he's no saint. He's just like every other man and had you seen a sample of my relationships…you'd agree that look he gave you or Liv are signs he wants someone else. Especially when he does it to Liv. To me, what comfort you offer me now is just hollow. "

"That aside. What do you mean 'we may not have many moments' like this? We're in a symbiotic relationship. We can't get away from each other if we tried."

Heather felt her whole face blush. Then she felt a similar, and steadily increasing, heat course through the rest of her body. Wisps of steam started to raise from the surface of the bathwater. A moment of clarity struck and she hopped from the tub before she started to boil Liv like a blonde lobster.

She started to pace back and forth on the bathmat while she waved her hands toward her face and muttered, "Omigod Omigod Omigod Omigod Omigod Omigod" loudly.

Leo turned his head in the direction of Theonis when he caught up. He could see Theonis' mouth moving, but he couldn't make out any words over the sound of the air rushing past his head. Leo put a hand to his ear and yelled, "Whaaaat?"

"Man, you don't know that half of it."

Alec quirked a brow and, as politely as one could, pushed Legio's hand away from his head. "I know I said I was a dumb kid, but I'd really appreciate it if you didn't treat me like a child."

"Thank you, though. Not many people bother to look past my appearance. Even before I looked like The Crow most people would avoid me. But you aren't most people."

"There was one other thing I wanted to bring up. Sometimes I can't help looking into a person's future. especially if I initially perceive them as a threat. For example, a seven foot tall werewolf crawls out of the shadows when no one else is looking. Now I know Fenris is good, but I did an initial read that were mostly visual flashes. They were...troubling."

"I know you just told me not to rely on my future vision too much, but I figure she has some type of curse. That...thing I saw her become could kill a lot of people, herself included. I would really appreciate it if you'd be here when it happens to help us contain her."

Silhouette was taken aback for a moment and was a little hurt by Trinity's words. She lowered her arms and rested her hands on her lap. "Ah, of course. Forgive me. It's foolish of me to speak as though I have all the answers. I may have watched you grow up since you were a teenager from within Freya, but I don't really know you and you don't really know me. I just...no, never mind. I'm out of touch with the modern world, and so I spoke out of turn. I'll better respect your agency from now on."

She looked out into the darkness and sighed wistfully. "I have been alive for an inconceivable amount of time. More than half of that life was spent in an insane, rage fueled haze. My people have either rejoined the collective soul or act as overseers of their respective boon. This existence of mine, though mutually beneficial to us, is not fair to you. You have your own life, hopes, and dreams. You don't need a primordial being in your head for the rest of that life. And...I'm very tired, Trinity. So, when you and the others have succeeded in destroying the Hellstar...I was thinking I'd join my people in the Ether."

Rydia swallowed and chuckled, "That's kind of you to offer, and I might take you up on that later today.. It would be nice to speak to someone closer to my mortal age. For now, though, I am here to help you. And you didn't ask me, I offered. No one should have to face a difficult situation alone, and it doesn't hurt to make another friend."

The rift opened, but rather then spread out into the location it took place in the scene was a dark haze. Within the haze were four vaguely human shaped figures. One figure was brighter than the rest and it held a small blur in it's arms. The other three stood beyond a clear barrier that made them appear out of focus. The first one banged on the barrier and yelled, "Hey, time to eat." in a heavily distorted voice.

The second one pushed what could have been a cafeteria tray along the floor and through the barrier.

"C'mon. I know you hate it here, but you have to eat." the second figure said in a kind but equally distorted voice.

The third figure scoffed, "Psht, if the fox wants to starve let her."

One shoved three's shoulder and shouted, "Shut it! You want to end up dusted like the last crew? We follow orders and make sure that b***h is fed."

Two turned on it's heels to face the others and hissed, "Maybe Liv would be more inclined to eat if you two didn't treat her like an animal."

The three figures left and argued. The bright figure whispered to the blur in it's arms, "Fox. Been a while since someone called me that as a compliment. You know what some people call a baby fox, **********? A ***. Oh, you like that? ***? Guess that'll be your nickname then."

The words that would've been the blur's name came across as a harsh buzz.

Little Ravan picked up her head when she heard something approach. "Ah. Muh. Nah." she desperately wheezed into Crystalion's ear.

The one of the seekers had made their way to the dark corner. It picked it's head up when the scent it had followed led to Crystalion and Ravan. Flaps opened up on it's neck and it released an ear splitting shriek to call other biobeasts to it's location. As it's neck flaps closed the second seeker came bounding and snarling around a corner toward the two humans. In the distance was the low rumbling of a few "heavies" The same type of biobeasts that had tried to kill the escapees the day before when Ravan and the others had crossed into the past.

The dark maelstrom in the center of the city had calmed down enough to cross into, but there was still a dark cloud that swirled throughout it. The rift the seekers had been skulking around was unguarded.

As Sil realized Trinity's point she nodded and said, "Thanks."

Trinity joined her in looking into the darkness and listened. She looked down but understood it was something that it was something that needed to happen. She hugged her, "I know it's inevitable but I will miss you." she let go and looked to her, "at least you'll be reunited with your Chrosis. Hopefully you'll see your brother as he once was."

"I guess after you go I'll have your boon … but what of Eclipse's boon? Is that what Teshoumaru has, but not really since Eclipse is the one controlling him, huh?"

Silhouette returned the hug in gratitude, and whispered her own thanks.

"I'm not certain, but I suspect my brother's boon is part of the reason Teshoumaru is in his current state."

"Speaking of boons, that was something I wanted to talk to you and the others about. Since we're here I may as well tell you now. As you most likely know, our parents were The Eight of our world. When they sent us back, their boons were split among their children. So while what you have now is my boon, it's actually only one half of a whole."

"After the boon of light is granted, a type of circle will be complete. Then you and the others will be able to receive the other halves. But there lies a problem. Eclipse has apprently been working tirelessly to lock down the other halves in his minions. Those four girls, Eutha within Heather's father, his attempt to take and destroy the crystal that held Freya's mother, and his manipulation of events to have Liv Crystalion try to take me along with your powers."

"Eventually, you and the others will need those other halves. One way or another"

Crystalion observed the memory rift. This confirmed what she had been thinking for a while now. Ravan was the daughter of a different version of her. The name was buzzed out so it was hard for her to hear it. What were baby foxes called again? It's been over a decade since she'd last seen one. A cub?

Her thoughts were cut short as a seeker found them and alerted the others. She always hated those more than any other type. The trackers, the one that found humans and alerted the rest. Like blood hounds. Not to mention that scream is enough to disable someone for a split second. Then another one showed up. She knew a Heavy was on it's way from the rumbling.

Her body lit up. Her free arm extended and she opened her hand, pointing it at the Seeker. The glow from her body transferred to the palm of her hand as she fired an intense scorching beam of light at the second one.
