I hopefully will. The shows been going for so long it has to a massive audience that would be dying to see it, who would in turn be so dissapointed if it doensn't turn out well. I think I might go see it smile

I also think that as long as the director is someone who knows the show - and hopefully is a fan - it will all go fine ( scream Brian Singer, I'm talking about you! scream )

Well, no hostility there, no sir. None at all.
And speaking of Brian Singer (you mentioning him made me want to look him up), Superman: Man of Steel, 2009.

As for Dragonball, James Wong does seem to have a good track Record for movies, though there aren't many of them. His Direction credits consist of Final Destination (1 & 3) and Jet Li's The One. So not bad.

But Final Destination 2 was the best one! Lol, I'm kidding, that sounds cool.

And I've just not forgiven Brian Singer - actually I think it's spelt Bryan but nevermind- for choosing to do Superman Returns instead of X-3. I'm convinced it would have been a LOT better if he hadn't ditched it.

Yeah, your right there. X3 sucked. Now I can't wait for Wolverine and a possible X man 4.

Plus, just saw this about Transformers 2.

filmonic.com
CHUD got some news regarding Megatron’s appearance in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Everyone who saw Transformers knows that Megatron met his demise after Shia LaBeouf thrust the cube into his chest…or did he?

Last week MTV essentially reran a story we ran months ago, but with different sources: yes, the villain in Transformers 2 is The Fallen, the Satan equivalent Transformer from the recent comic books. Now I’m coming at you with new TF2 news: Megatron is coming back.

OK, I don’t think there’s a soul out there who will be surprised when Megatron returns in Transformers 2*. If the current incarnation of the script follows the beats of a previous incarnation (which did not feature The Fallen), Megatron may be getting brought back by the Autobots, who need him to conquer the new menace. But I’ve learned that this time he won’t be that weird alien jet. This time he’s a tank.

That will be sweet, Finally, they show Megaton as he truly is. And as for the teaming up thing, I know they did that in the series to fight the giant plaint robot, but save that for movie three I think.

Plus they had a piece of an interview with Robert Downey Jr. about Iron Man 2. He said Hulk will not be in it but would not confirm or deny Thor or Capitan America would make an appearance. They also talked about the Justice League movie filming next year.

The three articals are a little old, but I thought I would pass the info on.

I liked the tv show back in the say but it got to the point where the time-traveller (I want to say Bison but I could be thinking of Street Fighter) who came from the future to stop an event. Then once he had he went back home and realised they were wrong so he came back again and I still can't get my head around time travel so it really confused me and I stopped watching it.

I saw the first one again last week and liked it a lot better than before. I'm excited about Wolverine but X-4? eek

And yays about Transformers stuff! Has everyone heard about Shia LeBouff being in that car crash?

I never watched the TV show of X-Men, my mother didn't like the idea of evolution in mutants, but she now lets my 2 year old nephew watch it. evil

Yeah, I heard of LeBouff's crash. I also heard that the small injury he got from it is holding up production on Transformers 2.

Yup he had to have 'minor hand surgery' apparently. He was also apparently drunk-driving, but wasn't at fault for the crash because the other driver went through a red light.

If that's true he's lucky that's all that happened to him - I'm mortally against (and morally offended) by drink-driving.

He also got caught for having pot and something else...

I still like him and really can't wait for Transformers 2

I also said even thought he's not 'soooo toally hot' there's somthing nice about him and my friend finally agreed with me after watching Disturbia), but he's making it so difficult.

I also still want to see Tranformers 2, haha.

We could almost make a We heart Transformers club.

Ok, I have some gossip/information. Don't know if anyone knows or likes Family Guy...I had something on what is apparently going to be called "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" but I can't read it - I read it in a magazine when I was working and used my (crappy) camera-phone. Anyway, the Family Guy bit;

"The dirty-minded geniuses at Family Guy unveiled plans for a follow up to their Star Wars spoof Blue harvest. The tremedusly titles Something, Something, Something Dark Side will be a piss take of The Empire strikes Back and the shows creator Seth MacFarlane revelealed 'We're currently asking lawers if Vader's allowed to say '*"!&££*£"&' ' .

MacFarlane also showed off his trailer for new spin-off cartoon 'The Cleveland Show' starring Peter Griffin's squeaky-voiced neighbour Cleveland Brown. 'He moves back to his hometown to meet his high school sweetheart,' explain MacFarlane. 'They move near some rednecks, a British family and a some talking bears. It's a bit like the black Brady Bunch.

The shows pegged for 2009"

I personally knew there was going to be a sequel to Blue Harvest and it's name but didn't know about the Cleveland Show. Don't know if I'll be watching it though.

Also, I read a spolier for the new season of Heroes! I won't say it but I think it'll be really good in the show and I'm gutted my read it! Damn my eyes!.

Hey, just thought I post this. I found a link that shows the new Prince of Persa sands of time movie picture. It's the main star Jake Gyllenhaal. The only thing I know him from is Bubble Boy, thou he has played in a few big movies.

Also, read this.

Angelina Jolie Replaces Tom Cruise In Edwin A. Salt

Warning to the leading men in Hollywood. You have new competition.

Tom Cruise recently left espionage thriller Edwin A. Salt, which then got attention from some big name actors…until Angelina Jolie said she was interested. Her interest caused the studio to rewrite the script and change the lead character to a female to accommodate Jolie. Talk about power!

Variety say:

Jolie is close to a deal to play the title character, a CIA officer who’s accused by a defector of being a Russian sleeper spy and must elude capture long enough to establish her innocence.

“Edwin A. Salt” will undergo a title change, and if everything falls into place, the film shapes up as a return vehicle for Jolie, who recently gave birth to twins.

I am not surprised this has happened, considering Wanted more than tripled its budget. This proved that Angelina Jolie can sell action movies, so if she wants to star in your movie why turn her down? You are guaranteed a profit and I think having Jolie instead of Cruise is a huge improvement considering his recent movies haven’t exactly set the box office alight.

I have a feeling it could be another 2 hour long posing contest, but it’s Angelina Jolie so who cares?

thats when you have too much power in Hollywood.

Plus, more transformer news, for the I heart Transformers club.

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen Mystery Car

A mystery car was recently spotted on the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, sending car enthusiasts into a frenzy trying to find out which one it was. Now Jalopnik reports that the car on the Transformers 2 set is actually GM’s Corvette Centennial Design Concept.

Some outlets have incorrectly asserted the concept is a potential design for a next-generation C7 Corvette. They’re wrong. Oh, it’s a Corvette, but our well-placed sources tell us the concept is GM’s Corvette Centennial Design Concept. We expect to see it revealed early next year, months before it debuts on the silver screen in Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen.

It is not yet known which Transformer the car will be, however some think it could be a redesigned Jazz, while others say it could be new robot Tracks.
