'She may not be able to kill you Kain.....But just remember who has evaded the great guard for a hundred years and managed dozens of raids on your castle... *I simply grin with a "lets play bingo with the paycheck" look in my eyes and follow along a little behind Kain and the princess, tossing my stolen prize from hand to hand.*

"Two things," Kain said as he stopped and looked at him in the eyes,"One I am not just a guard...I'm an assasin. When the raids happened I asked the Devil if he needed my assistance, he said why go after such a weak nuisance. And two: I don't think you caould take me," He started walking again and stopped when he saw a little girl crying. Kain smiled and walked over to her and reached into his jacket and pulled out some money,"here...you need it more than me" She smiled and thanked him and he continued walking.

(Uh, my RPC didn't say anything. it was his thoughts. unless you can read minds which would be pretty lame)

Faynihr stopped til White came close, sh grabbed his arm and when Kain looked back at her (sory using your character for a sec) se growled, sticking her nose into the air. She decided he'd rather not be around him right now.

*My happy go lucky demeanor does not falter. As Kain walks off and Faynihr grabs my arm I chuckle slightly. I look down at her and raise an eyebrow.* "Well he thinks himself quite the force to be reckoned with, doesn't he? Not much of a fellow to have a little relaxation with either." *I decide to try and brighten the mood a bit.* "So who's hungry?"

Kain walked forward for a bit then stopped and started thinking,I've gotten soft...if that were me 70 years ago i wouldn't have helped that girl...what the hell is happening...Kain walked forward again then pulled out a satchel and pulled a sphere from it and spoke to himself, "a sphere of rage...the devil knew i was going soft...I don't need it," he said as he set it back in the satchel and continued walking.

((OMG I'M SORRY...the first person thing got me a little messed up...and u can use my character i don't mind))

Fynihr held his arm tightly, looking down, trying to hide behind her hair. She whispered quietly;
"I think people are lookin at me... sold we change our appearances?"

*I simply smile at Faynihr's worries.* "My dear, while you're with me and the guard in Hell's armor over there, you've nothing to worry about. No one here would dare approach as long as you don't wonder off on you're own." *I stress the part about wandering off to make the point that she has to stay with either Kain or me at all times.*

(Sorry, the 1st person does mess with people but most of my characters are way easier to use in first person sweatdrop )

Kain gave up on the fight and started walking back to Faynihr and White,"I need somethin to do," he said as he started walking. I need a good fight..., he thought.

((listen i hate to say it...but i may be a little...moody because i'm quitting cigarettes and i'm gonna be goin through withdrawal so if i piss someone off...i'm sorry))

*I grin and toss Kain a couple coins.* "Hit the tavern. Get drunk. Kick the crap out of someone. That should be enough entertainment. I'll keep the little princess here out of trouble if you need a break. They know me well enough here. And I really do suggest being drunk if you want to have fun around here. It's too easy if you're sober. Trust me." *I give Kain a knowing wink.*

(In all seriousness, good for you bro. Best quit young before it gets to be a major addiction and all that. Stay strong.)

Faynihr blushes, feeling a little silly... and a little... shy? Wait.. do I.. no! she mentally slaps herself, watching the boys' exchange. She swallows the lmp in her throat and firmly (tries) tells Kain; "Just... don't let somethin too bad happen... okay? C'mon, W-.." she stuttered on his name. Squeezig her eyes shut and grabbing his hand firmly she dragged him in the hopeul direction of an inn. "C'mon, you."

Kain sensed her change in attitude towards him and his heart leapt but he showed no emotion," okay...i'll try not to kill too many people," He threw the coins in his own purse,which was big enough already, and he walked away with a big smile on his face but made sure not to show it to Faynihr or White. He walked into the tavern sat down and ordered their strongest drink.

What's this? The princess shy around little old White, eh? *I let out a low chuckle at Kain as his spirits rise and before I know it I'm being dragged away in the direction of an in by Faynihr.* "Well hey there little princess, what's the rush?" *White falls into pace with her and looks down. She's still clutching his hand.* "You know I'm a grown demon. I don't need my hand held to cross the street." *I can't help but smirk a little.*

She blushes, puffing up her cheeks at him.
"Oh, be quiet! You're guarding me, remember?" she tries to make her hand let go, trying to listen to her head, but god damn it all she couldn't do it. She's been trapped in that castle forever and even when he raided her home, never once had White hurt her.

While Kain was drinking he was getting glared at all over. He was on his third drink and was starting to feel it. He downed it and asked for another one. While on his fourth drink, a large, but young, demon sat next to him.
"Hey waiter, give me what he's havin',"his voice was deep and booming,"and put it on his tab"
Kain stopped drinking and smiled...just what i've been lookin for. He finished his drink then set the mug down and looked at the demon,"I will not pay for your drink," he looked at the demon who was slightly bigger than him in size.
"Oh yeah? I think you are," the demon got closer to Kain's face, "Unless your'e gonna stop me".
Kain smiled. He knew he could easily kill this demon...but he didn't want to kill...he wanted a fight. He grabbed the demon by his shirt and flung him about twnety feet out the window and followed him out there, "No weapons...it'll be too easy".
