Master and Slave

[Roccano]

About an hour later Kai sighed and headed back to her house and saw lights on and smiled.

"Looks like shes back."

He went to the door and then knocked on it.  

[SkieChan]

"Coming!" Was the call from inside the house. "Coming! Just...uh....gimmi a sec!" She pulled on her pjs and with her hair wet and crazy she opened the door. "Oh! Hi again." She said as she shoved her hair out of her face.  

[Roccano]

Kai laughed lightly at her appearance.

"You forgot your book at the restaurant."

He smiled as he held out the book to her.

Hotaru let out a light laugh. "I thought I might have dropped it somewhere." She said with a smile. "Thank you!" She said as she reached for the book.  

[Roccano]

Kai handed it to her and then smiled at her.

"Ill see you tomorrow at eight then.
Be sure to pass that test."

He turned and then waved at her.

Hotaru nodded as she opened her book and closed the door.

The next day she was walking home from school in pretty much the same fashion as she always did. Headphones on and nose stuck in a book.

Kai laughed as he looked out a window at her and then shook his head.

"She needs a little excitement in her world....."

He smirked as he pointed a finger at her book and made the top corner of the page she was reading catch on fire but controlled it to only that corner.

Hotaru yelped and dropped the book. She quickly started stomping on it to put the flam out. Once it was out her hair was in worse disoray than usual, the messy pigtails half out of the ribbons already were barely held in place at all. She shoved her hair out of her face and pouted at her stomped on and partially burned book. "I just bought that one too." She muttered as she bent to pick it up, her skirt riding up a bit as she did.

Kai watched her bend down and smirked as he saw it ride up and laughed lightly.

"So clueless....."

He turned and then walked down into the alley again and smiled.

"Hello again, what happened this time?"

Hotaru yelped and pitched forward. She caught herself but not before he got a flash of her underwear. She stood straight, holding her book and dusted herself off. She remembered to pull the head phones off this time, her messy hair instantly falling in her face. She pushed it out and held up her book. "Weirdest thing. Fire seems to like me lately." She said as she blinked at him.  

[Roccano]

Kai smirked.

"Red....."

He walked over and looked at her book and frowned lightly.

"Yes, it would seem so wouldnt it?
And it just started yesterday?"  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru nodded. "Just last night." She replied as she shook the book to get some of the dirt off and brushed at the pages. "It's so odd." She commented as she turned to start walking home again.  

[Roccano]

Kai laughed lightly and turned and walked the other direction.

"Dont forget about tonight, eight o clock, wear something nice."  

[SkieChan]

Hotaru stopped and looked back at him. "Something.......nice?" She repeated. Honestly she only owned some basic cloths, mostly her skirts and conservative blouses. Her mother did all her shopping as Hotaru often got distracted by any store containing books or art and spent her money there instead.  

[Roccano]

Kai turned and looked back at her.

"You dont have anything to go out......"

He caught himself and then sighed as he walked back towards her.

"Looks like we need to take you shopping."
